ok so i really wanna get my lip pierced, but i have these overbearing parents who are super overprotective prudes in my opinion. and i really wanna get it pierced for my 16th birthday but i dont know how to convince them. so can someone please help me???

i know it's tough huh? i want my nose pierced i've been begging my mom and she's still not budging :/

Read up on the internet about information on lip piercings and print it out and show your parents that you've researched everything you need to know about it,which would impress them.You could also maybe get a job,or do things around the house like clean your room,take out the trash,clean the dishes,etc which shows your responsible.And by not talking back to them or getting into fights with them,could show how mature you are.If you do two or more of these things,your parents will most likely budge and hopefully let you get the piercing :) If not? when your 18,you don't need your parents consent to get a piercing, so waiting till your 18 can be your plan b,if plan a dosent work out ;)

Q: I dont stand out. I think Im youre average plain Jane or whatever. My closest friends are moving away and theyve changed so much, so I guess I dont mind the move. I feel like with school coming up September, its time for a change of my own :]
I love love love the way scene girls dress. Yess, Im a girl, fifteen by the way. Im not saying I want to be a scene kid, specifically. I just want to be able to wear bold colors, like a snazzy pair of these bright green jeans, and feel COMFORTABLE. I just feel like if I try to pull off a lot of layers, or a few different patterns together, maybe it wont work. I dont want to seem attentioncraved or poserish. You know?

Aww i was the same way! I love how scene girls dress too :) I had a pretty boring style when i was younger.I just wore whatever was clean that day lol.Anyways,i started coming into my own and realized that i should just wear what i want to wear,i mean if i like it who cares what other people think you know? I was shopping with my friend and i found this really cute shirt that was totally not something i would usually wear but i really liked it,and i bought it.I just left confident buying something that what out of the ordinary for me! i started getting compliments on this one shirt and people said even though it dosent look like i would wear it,they liked it on me,then i bought these pair of jeans,i got more compliments and so on.And now everyone accepts me for what i wear,cause it's me,and my one of a kind style.I started off small and then expanded my own style.I would work my confidence up to those green jeans by starting off small like a really funky t-shirt you've been eyeing or bright sneakers/flats and buy them! wear them alot and see if you slowly get more confident as you wear them(which you should).Then add another part to the style you want and more confidence will happen.Then when you finally feel like your confident enough to pull of those green jeans buy them! :D I'm still not confident enough to wear colored jeans yet either though i want too,im working my way up there though ;)

Mario Testino! i love this guy! he takes amazing pictures! i bought one of his photography books called Let Me In! it was on celebrity's during candid moments,he does great work not just on celebs.If you want to know more let me know,but he's my favorite :)

If you like scene clothes,wear scene clothes! don't change who you are to have a guy like you.I don't like shopping at hollister or A&F because everyone wears that stuff.I've had guys who usually went after the blonde,cheerleader,preppy type and went out with me,who was the complete opposite from them.And they told me that they liked me because i was different :) So wear what you want to wear,but don't do it because it's "in",and as long as your confident in yourself and love who you are,guys will see that.You want a guy to love you for you :)

Q: Okay I visited my Dermatologist, I got a cream and a body wash. I got the most strongest cream they could give me, its named Salitop Cream with 6% Salicylic Acid. For the body wash, I use a sponge [the pretty soft kind] and I wash it throughly before using it, and after using it. My back isn't healing. Its just getting worse. Is there anything else I can do? I have been using this cream for about 4 months, and I haven't seen anything change but my back keep getting these obnoxious pimples! It's summer, and I really want to get rid of these because it is embarrassing to swim ! HELP!

i would visit your dermatologist again,and tell him you need something else and stronger because the Salitop Cream dosent cut it.

okay so theres this boy. our friends introduced us about 9 months ago. We always had a little thing for eachother. but I thought he was too dorky for me haha. Then there was some controversy bc his GF found a pic of me and him on myspace and flipped so me n her almost fought but i reassured her that we were "just friends". anywayys.. about a month ago we were hangin out at a mutual friends house and that night we went for a walk on the beach. we laid in the sand talking and stuff and he ended up kissing me (very cute). and he tried to go further and i stopped him and thankfully he respected my decision. I called him a couple of weeks ago to talk about the incident and he says "he didnt remember" but i knew he was lying so i was like whatever. then his bestfriend ends up telling me that yes he deffinently lied to me. and i'm hurt about it b.c i look dumb for telling his now "ex" thet we're "Just Friends" and i've developed more feelings for him but 1.idk if he feels the same way 2.idk y he would lie to me 3. should i confront him? 4. is it b.c. of the age diff? (he's 3yrs older) I just dont know what to do

Wow,he said he dosen't remember? I'm really sorry for saying this but what a jerk.He lied to you so he could cover it up so his girlfriend would never know what happened,it's like he's believing himself that nothing really did happen.Im sorry hun, but i think you should move on from this guy.He's causing too much drama,and you don't want to get involved in it.You don't want a guy like that.

I used to talk to this guy ryan last summer, but I forgot why we stopped. Like I always do when I stop talking to a guy/boyfriend. Hahaha.

So 2days ago we finally got reunited in summer school. Ryan is very popular with the ladies because of his wonderful, excellent, omgoodness, wow, physical experience. So to make a long story short, we ended up kissing in his car, which I now realize I shouldn't have done, but couldn't help it! =)

Well that day he told me he was gonna call me later and after school I ran into him and saw him giving his number to some girl, but I didn't feel the right to get mad because he's not my boyfriend. What a little player he thinks he is! Little does he know I am too, but I'm not a hoochie about it! Hahaha. *Well he never called.

Ryan is the type of guy who expects a girl to be ALL on him. He probably expected me to call him, but no. I will NEVER be on him. The thing about him is he's "shy" when it comes to being with him in person and saying something. So I was being nice the next day. I am really close with his guy friends and talked to them first and laughed with them and hugged. (Maybe he got mad because of it??) After he was staring and deciding if he should walk over to me or not, i said "Whoa why didn't you call me?" he said "oh I will tonight! I will. I will." And he gave me this loooong tight wonderful hug. =). And afterwards, to make it so great, I turned around and almost ran into some guy. Hahahaha. But anyways....

*He didn't call again!!!! I don't know how to act when I see him? He's going to stare and want me to talk. Should I just smile and wave and say a little hi? Should I be mad at him? Should I ignore him? Act like it never happend?

ugh same sisuation happened to me.Honestly,if the guy promises he would call you and he hasen't it's a sign that you should probably move on ( i mean you even saw him gives his number to another girl).He probably promised to call 10 other girls before you.If a guy really liked you he would'nt forget to call you.I would just be friendly with him since he has summer school with you but nothing more,you don't want to get involved with him.

Q: I just had my baby boy on the 4th of July.
He was a long awaited arival and I am over joyed that he is here.
Ever since my fiance and I brought him home though, I've felt really sad.
I had a bad pregnancy, but now that it's over, I miss it a lot.
My Fiance just went back to work and now I feel extremely overwhelemd. . . I feel like crying all the time.
My baby sleeps a lot, but since Ross has returned to work he seems to be up more or harder to settle down.
I don't know if any of this is normal or what. . .I could use some advice.

Q: I had a great teacher in my old school, I still live in the same town, but I changed schools.
I hadn't seen the teacher for a year, until last week I went to pick up some stuff that I ordered, and stopped at Starbucks. There he was (I'll name him Simon to make things easier) and I was happy to see him, he turned around and he was all happy and smiling and said ''Hey, name, I haven't seen you for over a year!'' and yes we hugged.
I'm almost 16, and he's a young teacher, I think about 24. We sat in Starbucks for about 6 hours, drinking and talking, and I found out that he's not with his girlfriend anymore and I don't know...I just like him so much.
He's always been relaxed. Like when I was going through shit times, I started smoking (I quit, and I'm proud :) ) and once I was sitting in the park near our school smoking and tears running down my face. He sits next to me, I tell him about all the shit that happened, and he helped me sort everything out.
I basically have no secrets from him, and since that day at Starbucks, I've seen him again twice.
We kiss each other on the cheek to say hello and bye, but practically no other physical contact.
I have fun with him, and I care for him..and I know so much about him but if any of my friends knew..well they'd be jealous cause he's pretty good looking, but I'm not sure what they'd think.
He is an ex teacher, but my friends still have him as a teacher.
I've only told my best friend from my new school, and she thinks it's cool, but she said that if he was one of her teacher, and knew that he was kissing me, she'd feel really uncomfortable.

And is it illegal...that's my main concern?
He taught me for a year, and now I go to a different school. I'm almost 16.

that is deffinately illegal,your a minor.Teachers and students should not be having that kind of relationship with each other,he crossed the line.You need to find someone that's your own age and forget about the teacher.

i've only watched the show a couple times but it's quite good i must say.I'm almost positive that he will return for season 4,i mean the show probably would'nt exist any longer because it's always been about those 2 brothers.As for which guy i like better,well there both pretty smokin so it would'nt be right for me to choose just one over the other lol

Hmm did you tell her that you liked her cousins? If you did,she might think it's weird that her friend likes her cousins so she might not want you to be around them it would make things awkward for her.Same thing happened with my friends,one of my friends had a brother that my friend liked and she did'nt want them hanging out with each other because she thought it would be uncomfortable for her.You should talk to your friend about it and ask her why you can't hang out with her cousins but stacey can.The best why is to just talk to her.

the game like in the movie sleepover? ugh i always wanted to do this game never got a chance to yet :/

But those are called scavenger hunts.You pretty much have two teams and you drive/walk around your neighborhood having to do tasks made by the team captains or someone who is'nt playing the game to make up a list of things too do.For example,run around in your underwear at a baseballfield bonus points if your naked,or flirt with an old man to get something you want and you have to take pictures of all the tasks you completed.You have a time limit say midnight is the cut off,both teams meet up at a certain place and you have a judge review both teams pictures and how many tasks they completed and how much their worth,whoever has the most points at the end of the night wins.

I've been to 3 different hard rock's and i've enjoyed it every single time i've went there.They have memorabilia in each hard rock.The food was really good,i think it would be a perfect place to have a birthday party the atomosphere is very chill,like a applebee's,ruby tuesday,T.G.I Friday's type of feeling.The menu is somewhat expensive but it really depends on what you order,like the dinner entress cost around 15? maybe.and the appitizer type meals like chicken fingers,or wings i think are like 8?.If you have anymore questions just let me know ;)
