getting my lip pierced

ok so i really wanna get my lip pierced, but i have these overbearing parents who are super overprotective prudes in my opinion. and i really wanna get it pierced for my 16th birthday but i dont know how to convince them. so can someone please help me???

maybe you should work up a deal with them ha thats what i would do in my highschool days i got my belly button pierced at 14, say you'll keep up the good grades and that this is something you really want they will give in eventually just keep trying till they can't say no goodluck hun.

i know it's tough huh? i want my nose pierced i've been begging my mom and she's still not budging :/
Read up on the internet about information on lip piercings and print it out and show your parents that you've researched everything you need to know about it,which would impress them.You could also maybe get a job,or do things around the house like clean your room,take out the trash,clean the dishes,etc which shows your responsible.And by not talking back to them or getting into fights with them,could show how mature you are.If you do two or more of these things,your parents will most likely budge and hopefully let you get the piercing :) If not? when your 18,you don't need your parents consent to get a piercing, so waiting till your 18 can be your plan b,if plan a dosent work out ;)

try and show them you're responsible enough for it.
like. try and suck up basically.
then casually bring it up.
see their reaction the First time you ask.
if it's bad, keep trying but don't annoy/pester them.
casually leave hints about it.
just whatever you do, don't get it done without telling them because that will make things worse lol.
