k i hav 2 questions. 1 is i'm doing a drawing for my art homework its we choose a theme and just like draw it. mines somethin about dealing with teenagers. i hav it all planned out except i need som one's opinion. i hav a slogan "Don't Fight, Unite" and when im choosin colors i don't kno wat color to choose for "Unite" cuz i want it to like represent the present times since i chose gray for "Don't Fight" which is to represent the past times (u kno like when people remember their image is black and white and somtimes gray.) so yea i can't decide a color i want that bests describes the present. Hey. I just looked this up online and on http://www.mytruecolors.com/truecolormeaning.asp it says that orange is the present. It represents energy, power, and strength. But also, you may want to use yellow because it could represent bright days ahead. For how to play Uno I searched this too and found the answer on http://louiseamallard.tripod.com/id11.html. If you don't feel like going there it says: Each player is dealt 7 Uno cards. The first player is the person to the left of the dealer. When everyone is ready the first card on the top of the deck of remaining cards is turned over. The player must put down a card which has either the same number/action or colour, or a multi-coloured card. If the player cannot put one of their cards down then they must pick up a card. The aim of the game is to loose all your cards first. When the player has one card left they must yell "uno!" before the next player puts down their card. I've liked this guy for the longest time and he never knew. I think he likes another girl though and I just found that out. The girl we think he likes is a year older than him and she thinks that he does too so does my best friend. She dosn't like him she likes someone else. He acts like he does too. And now I think I won't have a chance with him. He's everything to me and now I just feel broken hearted although he never knew I liked him but I just was hurt when I found out he liked someone else. Hey. A lot of times guys use other girls as cover ups to who they really like. He may like this girl slightly but he may secretely have really always liked you. He may just feel the same way you do about him. I would tell him how you feel and it will make you feel a lot better. And if he turns you down it's his loss or he may also be so shocked or embarressed that he really didn't say what he wanted. But I bet if you tell him he may admit how he feels about you too =). I don't get it. I'm a guy and at my school girls arn't like omg he's so hot or wow. But...when i go to a different school like to visit friends or somthing all the girls are like giggling and all that stuff and i get like 10 numbers. I dont get it. Hey. It's probably because the girls at your school already know all the guys so it's not as interesting to them since they already know you. Girls like to find a nice hot guy that they've never met because it's more interesting and a good find too. The girls at your school already know you and already know you're hot. So at the other school they see you as this new guy that is a good find (so to say). I'm a girl so I'm pretty sure this is why. I really hope this helped and good luck! =)

Ok I need advice to give to my friend Betty on how NOT to feel this way. It only happens when she works (which is Monday thru Friday). She feels as if she is leading two lives. She says she gets up goes to work (being the first life), comes home (this being the second life), then does the same thing all over again the next day. BUT she ISNT in a rut. She says she has been feeling this way since her dad died 19 years ago. MY QUESTION: What can I do to help her.

Hey. When a loved one passes away you sometimes feel dead yourself and get into this routine of doing the Same thing every day. You have to influence her that her dad wouldn't want her to be feeling this way. He would want her to have fun and a new adventure each day. Try making plans with her after she gets home from work to do something fun. If she protests and says she's tired, beg her and continue this. Try to think of things she would like to do so it will be worth her while. She will really appreciate that she has such a good friend and it will get her back up on her feet again. my father and brother (14 yrs old) havn't spoken for 6 months because of a tiny little argument.. and because they're both being stubborn, this has affected my whole life, myother younger brother (10 yrs old) is afraid of our family falling apart and my mother is turning into a monster, screaming, being mean and irritated all the time, she never used to be that wya before this. I've tried talking, several times. Tried getting out of the house, but since my dad's mad all the time, he won't let me go out a lot.

Hey. You definitely have to do something. You're right about the fact that it may hurt your family in the long run and things have to get better between your dad and brother. Things are always easier in letters (especially telling your feelings), in my opinion, so I would write each of them (your dad and brother) a long letter describing how you feel. If they won't let you get a word in, in person, than this will probably work a lot better. Just explain how much this is hurting your family and that you and your little brother are stuck in the middle. Explain how hurt you are. Talk about how much this is stressing poor mom out and she's yelling at you guys all the time. Explain that they have to make up over the argument because if anything happened to either of them (GF) they would feel so guilty since you know they both love eachother so much. so basically the other day i was suppose to hang out with my boyfriend he said to call him at one. So i call him no answer so i figure ill go spend time with other people till he calls me back. Well 5 at night rolls around i call him again still no reply. My one friend then says she called and talked to him. i was like wtf why would he do that to me. So i call again no answer. So i look at his myspace im not anywhere on his top.(i was number one) WEIRD. So then i write him a message telling him how i feel and i write on my myspace that i found another guy just to see if that would get his attention so he would call me. So then he calls me the next day is like whats with the message and said he didnt have his cell phone and he had a buncha missed calls from my frineds and stuff. So i of course felt like an idiot so he didnt talk to me because i was at my friends house. Then my he calls me later and it turns up he thought i had another guy lined up because my one frined who said she called him and answered said so. HE didnt know who to believe!!! And apparently he never even talked to her that night. So she screwed up the realtionship. Then later he calls and says lets just forget about the whole thing. Then the next day he tells me things are weird. WAY TO SEND MIXED MESSAGES. So i start crying yet again. So he wanted to break up so we could fix things. what is there to fix i dont get it. I AM STILL IN LOVE. And today we were suppose to hang out but his mom opened his mail(hes 18) and saw he went over the limit on his account so she wont let him use the one car. i want things to go back to the way they were. Should i just end this or should i continue trying to fix it? (link)

Hey. It sounds like your friend is really not a friend at all. She completely messed things up for you guys (because you seemed fine) and that is a Horrible friend. Please don't take that badly but that was really mean what she did to you. She may have been really jealous or something. What I would do is I would write him a really long letter explaining exactly what happened and what your friend did. Explain how hurt she made you feel and that you really don't understand why she did this but say that you're going to end the friendship until she tells you why. Tell him that you just wrote that thing on myspace because you were angry with what your friend told you which was obviously a lie. I'm sure he'll understand after all of this. He was probably just very hurt by what you wrote on myspace (thanks to your friend) and didn't understand. I'm sure he will after you explain all this and if he doesn't it's his own fault. So this Valentines Day, I want to go all out for a gift for my boyfriend. I was thinking of baking him a giant heart cookie with some cute decorations on it, but I thought that it may be too common. I want to do something out of the ordinary for him. I have already tried google, and I couldn't find something unique.

Hey. You can make him a video of pictures of you guys with music playing in the background. You can get him something personalized such as a dog tag with your names on it. You can get him a cake with your pictures on it. You can give him a giant teddy bear with your names engraved on it. Engraved things are always really nice but if you don't want to spend as much you can make him a cd with your favorite songs or make a scrapbook with pictures of you guys which he would really like saying "Happy Valentines Day!". Where I live, every single guy is obsessed with skateboarding.
I dont mean its their hobby.
I mean they are obsessed.
I have never heard a guy say something other than a skateboarding trick, thats all they ever talk about to eachother.

Hey. Haha. They definitely do talk about other things most likely but they probably like talking about skateboarding because it's what they hey it common. They all know about it so they probably feel it makes them look cool in front of other people. But I bet when they're at home they still like skateboarding but they don't talk about it constantly to show off. Also, I'm sure if they were with their good friends and family they talk about other things because their friends know already that they like skateboarding. I really hope this helped! =)

I've never really done this advice and answer thing, but I've always wanted to and really need some advice from an outsider because it feels I can never talk to anyone about my problems.. Its just me and my boyfriend have been going out for about 4 months and we are very serious. Its just that he acts very immature sometimes and hurts my feelings a lot. I cry sometimes as well. He doesn't really let me spend time with my girlfriends and I understand becuase he wants to be with me, I would probably be mad too. But its just, I really think that I love him. But he thinks of himself too much. His parents don't really like me that much either and they think we hang out too much, and I don't like them much either. But my boyfriend didn't like that I wanted to go hang out with my friends so then he threatens me all the time in going and hanging out with his old friends, so that is just what he did. He went to his ex grilfriends house and then after then went out. I do trust him and I don't really think anything went on, its just that it upset me . We had a big fight over it. But I think everythings alright. I do think he feels the same way about me, but sometimes I think he uses me to do stuff. If u know what I mean, in a sexual way. I usually get really jealous becuase he is a very popular guy and he flirts a lot and kinda talks about girls sometimes to get me jealous. But I think he's doing it on purpose. He's stupid like that. Hey. From an outsiders point of view (now please don't get offended =() this guy sounds like a complete jerk. He won't let you hang out with your friends which is really sad because good guys are happy that the person they love has friends. I mean I could see if you're always with them but he won't let you see them at all? That's just wrong. If he hurts your feelings and makes you cry than this is definitely a guy that you don't deserve. That is just horrible that he threatened you by going to his ex's house no matter what they did. You're entitled to be with your friends. If he also flirts a lot with other people he will do it later in your life. I would definitely break up with him because he's not treating you right and you can find a guy that understands you and is much nicer. A guy who will not threaten you or flirt with other people. You can do Much better and he doesn't deserve you. I know you may still have feelings for him but he will just hurt you more in the long run and you deserve a guy who would never hurt you like this. Hey. Some people are more flexible than others but you Can still learn to do one. You just have to stretch every day and pretty soon you'll get better and better. Just stretch both legs out in a straddle and one day you'll be able to go all the way. Or if you want the other kind of split just (as you may know) stretch one leg foward and one back. It's not great for you but they sell it at my school and it's better than some other drinks out there. I've only had the blue which was actually pretty good. There are thirteen different flavors and they all have a different label. Some flavors are an orange juicy type that's a weak orange soda, the lemonade one, a one like punch, one that's like lemon-lime, one that's like cranberry and grapefruit, one that's like a kiwi and strawberry mix, and a peachy mango tasting one. Vitamin water does give you some vitamins though. Wooo...here we go. Oh boy. This is so upsetting. I was in a best-friend kind of relationship with a guy for the past 7 months. We were EXTREMELY close, up until today. And I'm just so confused with what's going on. I'm 15 and he's 17. We were very personal with each other, being able to tell secrets, share feelings, console each other in times of trouble, care a lot for eachother, and we shared a lot of interests too. About 4 months ago, he started telling me that he loved me. I, of course, was very excited, thinking that he really DOES love me. So I began to get very clingy to him, flirting and being very sweet because I really DID love him. He would tell me how beautiful I am, and how he wanted to see me all the time and how he wanted to play with my hair and that my eyes were so beautiful and when he sees me the next time, he will give me his whole music collection and we will snuggle to the music of a record player and he will kiss me on the forehead and tell me how much he loves me. He teased me a lot too. But for the past 4 months, I've been noticing that he's been saying similar things to OTHER girls! I was outraged and so full of jealousy. He said the EXACT same thing to them! "Oh you know you're the only one for me ";)""....That was the last straw. Whenever he is on MSN, there are other girls online and he completely ignores me and chats with them! And when we're in a group convo with our friends (who are like 16 - 18) he flirts around with them! But then after, he tells me that I'm the ONLY one he loves and "you should know that by now, cutie, hehe *kiss*". Well, finally getting to the point, today, on MSN...he told me that he thinks that it won't work out! He says that "I'm not the one you want" and "you will be able to find other guys". I don't know what to do, guys...I really don't. Looks to me like he's been leading me on...and then, when I opened my heart out to him, he broke it. ;_;...what should I do? I still love him, but he just says "But we'll always be friends". I just...don't know if I can trust him anymore...*sigh*. ;_____; (link)

Hey. A lot of times older guys want one thing from a girl. I think you know what that is =). I know you're probably shaking your head no right now but from everything you said this guy sounds just like that type. He wanted more from you just like he does with other girls. He's probably very charming and can get all the girls to fall for him (I'm just assuming). If he's telling all the girls this he's just a big flirt and really not worth your time. I know you're probably really hurt and upset right now but he's probably done this to many other girls. You deserve better than him and he sounds like he doesn't care about your feelings. You can find a much nicer guy who will care about the girl he's with. I mean this guy you're talking about may be the nicest guy ever but it sounds like he's like that to everyone. Hey. Before getting really upset just think of something really funny like the person you're mad at wearing a leprechaun costume and doing a little jig. Sometimes I do this and it really helps. Just ignore whatever it is and think of something like this. Or you can squeeze your hands together and just think of nothingness. The anger should pass because anger normally passes by very quickly. Or as the other person (if it's a person) is going on and on just block it out and think of them going blah blah blah. I mean I'm not trying to tell you to completely ignore people but if the other option is screaming at them it's better with these options. Also, you can think of how hurt they will be if they made you this upset. I really hope that all of these options helped and good luck! =)

Verse Chorus Verse, Silver, On A Plain, Drain You, Negative Creep, I Hate Myself And I Want To Die, Polly, In Bloom, You Know You're Right and ther're a lot more. Hey. Squats, lunges, push-ups (even modified ones), planks, and dips can all work for an indoor-workout. Also, DDR (Dance Dance Revolution) video game is a great workout and fun too. Try walking up and down the stairs (may sound silly but it's a great workout). Put on some music and start dancing around or make a dance for yourself. When you're working out in the winter remember to dress in layers. As your body temperature heats up you can shed the layers to keep from overheating. ok so i'm writin a story about a garden, any way the woman is building a garden sort of area on the side of a mountain/hill. in the story it could be a place that gets sunlight, but not TONS and it's set in the summer. it should be a pretty plant that she is planting mostly. Hey. This is more of a crop but it is a plant. Try a gooseberry. They were originally found on mountains. They Are flowers with green and pink flushed petals that open in early spring. They like morning sun but they do get sunburnt (meaning they wither) in over 85 degrees. Also, salvia's which do well in hot, dry conditions. As for if they can be grown on a mountain I'm not completley sure. I really hope this helped and good luck with your story! I love writing! =)

Hey. Well it sounds like George might have been embarressed at the moment he got asked from your friend. I mean if he said yes to your friend and not to you in person it would be wierd. I would try being nice back to him (as you know)and talk to him about how you feel. I know this might be hard but it will clear things up and you'll both feel better about it. Be like "hey I know what my friend said but I was kind of embaressed to ask you in person but I really like you". He will really appreciate this I'm sure and will be more likely to like you. And if he says no, it's not your fault. Everyones different. But I'm sure if you tell him how you feel it will make things better between the two of you =).
