Obsessed
Where I live, every single guy is obsessed with skateboarding.
I dont mean its their hobby.
I mean they are obsessed.
I have never heard a guy say something other than a skateboarding trick, thats all they ever talk about to eachother.
The sad thing is , im not over exaggerating.
I know they like it and stuff
but do they ever think of anything else besides it?

Hey. Haha. They definitely do talk about other things most likely but they probably like talking about skateboarding because it's what they hey it common. They all know about it so they probably feel it makes them look cool in front of other people. But I bet when they're at home they still like skateboarding but they don't talk about it constantly to show off. Also, I'm sure if they were with their good friends and family they talk about other things because their friends know already that they like skateboarding. I really hope this helped! =)

Wow! i wish I lived where you did. Not many guys skateboard around here, but I do know some who do and are kind of obsessed with it too. I skateboard a little, but my life definitely doesn't revolve around it. I think that guys probably do think about other things, like girls, obviously, and food, music, movies and probably school to some extent. But maybe they're not thinking about girls yet. Depends on if they've gone through puberty yet, which if they haven't, might explain why they are so obsessed with skateboarding.
Guys are alot different than girls. They're not as concerned about their looks, about what they wear, or where they're going with their friends. So since they don't really have alot of stuff to worry about (at least for right now) they become attached with skateboarding. To them, skateboarding is their makeup, clothes, shopping, magazines. This basically means that us girls usually have alot to focus on (we actually mature faster than boys) and sometimes guys are a little more laid back, and just want to skate.
But don't worry, though it may not seem like it's EVER going to happen, boys eventually grow up and mature. (Well most of them...some never do, haha.)

Chances are they do talk/think about things other than skateboarding. Maybe they share the same love for it & wonder what other people know how to do. They probably really do just talk about skateboarding and nothing else, or maybe that's what you hear them talk about whenever you happen to walk by. It could be a coincidence.
But, that's boys for you. So complicated.

Hmph, that's boys for you. Obsessing over something little. But it's not something little to them apparently.
Take the most important thing in your life, like your family or friends, I guess you could say skateboarding is that to them.
If your looking for a boyfriend in your town then it looks like your going to have to put up with their obession, just be supportive and even get in on skateboarding a little bit. Ask the guys to show you how to skate or teach you a trick. It shows them you want to get involved and opens their eyes to show them 'Hey, here's a pretty cool chick!'.
