are there any good winter exercises i can do indoors? i don't have a treadmill, and i don't like to run outside in the cold. but i don't wanna be a bum til april either. and i don't belong to the YMCA or anything. but i need to lose weight! thanks
Wear proper clothing, comfortable boots, and start out gradually. I've even been out in well below -10 degrees Celsius (14 Fahrenheit) and enjoyed it. It's been even colder with the wind chill. I wouldn't do it if I didn't enjoy it.
Please do reconsider.
But if you don't, dance around to music, run up and down the stairs, lift "weights" (things like cans of soup can be good stand-ins), even start juggling (I always recommend that one). Find some way to get yourself moving. [ Daimeera's advice column | Ask Daimeera A Question ]

Also, DDR (Dance Dance Revolution) video game is a great workout and fun too. Try walking up and down the stairs (may sound silly but it's a great workout). Put on some music and start dancing around or make a dance for yourself. When you're working out in the winter remember to dress in layers. As your body temperature heats up you can shed the layers to keep from overheating. I got a lot of this info from [Link](Mouse over link to see full location) so if you want more information go here. I really hope I helped and good luck! =) [ chrissabelle37's advice column | Ask chrissabelle37 A Question ]
