me and this boy have been dating on and off for over a year now.we're not going out right now though.He's cheated on me and lied to me and somehow he gets off by calling me a liar and a player and i would never do that to him and on halloween me and my friend went to his house and we we're playing around at first and then he started getting serious and he slapped me and my friend just sat there only becuz he said he would beat the f*** out of her too.he is quite abusive and i still like him.do you think i should still like him or should i tell someone that he slapped me? Im extremely shy.Theres this kid i like, but i can never seem to find the courage, or things to talk about with him. any suggestions on how to be less shy or subjects to talk about?

hi. im really shy too, or well..i used to be. One way to become less shy i think is to gain self confidence, try working out a little. ive noticed that when im more confortable with myself, im more comfortable with other people, this may work for you.
since you know he is into music and sports, try and follow up on what he likes, if you over hear him talking about a certain football team he likes, ask him "did you see the (team) game?" and comment about it.
if its music ask if he is going to see them live or get their new cd, or if he has it asks how it is.
just start witht the general small talk.
if you have classes with him, ask what the homework was, or if u have the same teachers but at different times, ask what you did in class that day if he has it before you.

a few times a week i'm sitting on the floor, get up the wrong way, fall back to the floor in extreme pain because i've somehow popped my knee out of place. I can't even move and i can't get up or fix it without having someone pick me up from the underarms up.
Is this normal?
Is there something screwy with my knee?

until then just be very careful and dont get to crazy untill you find out whats wrong.

i have liked this guy for like 4 years. he is only related to me by marriage.hes my dads cousins husbands son. sorry if that confusing. but ever since i have saw him i have liked him. ever since i was 13. im now 17 and still not over him. i thought i was and told all my friends i was but im not. last year i just moved out of state so i dont see him that much. i only see him when i go to visit family. and when i do see him i melt. can ne body tell me why im not over him? ill rate 5s. thanxs alot. well, only you really know why you aren't over him.
but now that you have moved, maybe you'll end up meeting someone else who makes you go crazy and soon you can forget about him
but maybe you still like him cause you know its something you cant really have (depending on beliefs anyway) and that just makes you want it more.
just try and do things to keep him off your mind, and if visiting less is an option, that might help aswell.

some act normal, and some start to act a little funny around you, and cancel plans a lot, call and talk to you less.
also, if he has been messing around, he wont appear "neat" and may smell like perfume/body spray, that you dont wear.
but sometimes they are good at acting like they arent. i would have someone you trust very well keep an eye out on your guy.
and if your unsure, ask around, and ask your guy about certain girls. if you look through his phone, ask who some of them are, and find out about them through other people.
but i guess you wont know for sure unless you catch him, or he confesses.
this isnt every good advice, & i apologize for that.

ok the love of my life (but he doesn't like me more than a friend) told me last nite that his dad was beating the sh*t out of him by a text message. so i then talked to a mutual friend and she said he said the same thing to her but that he pushed him down a flight of stairs and it really hurt him!! we dont kno weather or not to believe him. like he tells everyone this but none of his guy friends believe him really, just the 3 of his closest "girl friends" (me, and 2 mutual friends). they have different stories (ex: "we were on the phone and he started screaming and crying because he was in the shower hiding from his dad when he heard him coming and had to hang up"). we dont know whether to believe him or not..
once, one of his guy friends told us that he saw his dad smack him REALLY hard once..i dont know where.
please help..what should i do? its serious..also, no one knows what happened to his mom (link)

look at his face, neck, arms, legs, see if there are bruises
it does seem odd, cause when stuff like this happens, people usually dont tell others...
sit down and talk to him, ask to see marks he may have left...and tell him u are going to report his dad, cause if he is lying he wont want you to do that.

try google again, and in the search engine i type define: then the word/term

This morning my dad got angry at me. The reason isn't really important. He threw the waffle that was eating at my shirt and got butter all over me. I was upset because he had the nerve to throw a waffle at me, and also because I was excited to wear the outfit that I had picked out to school. I started crying and I couldn't stop. Keep in mind that I have my period now. I was still crying when I got out of the car, and still crying when I was in homeroom. Of course, everyone was staring at me and wondering why my eyes were all puffy. My teacher suggested I go to the nurse, so I did and stayed there for half of first period. I was really happy by the time I was surrounded by my friends. First of all, I felt like an idiot because the people in my homeroom knew how upset I was in the morning, and then saw me laughing my head off with my friends two periods later. I just feel so stupid and I can't for the life of me understand why I was crying so much!! I know I have my perios, but I've never got PMS this severe before!! HELP PLEASE!! Has anyone beed throuhg an awkward situation like this? (link)

lol i get it all the time! i usually cry over absoluting nothing...litterally. i wake up and just cry, when nothing at all happened, lol.
just a way of life and we just got to learn to deal with it.

well, exercise. that is a great thing to do to release stress. you dont have to go crazy, just go for a walk even with a cd player to ease your mind and then come home and take a hot bath. =]

k for halloween i'm being a cowgirl. i have a cowboy hat and stuff but i'm just not sure how i should wear my hair. it's not very long.. it just touches the top of my shoulders when it's straight. i was wondering if i should put it in pigtails or if i should just leave it down? what would go with the 'cowgirl' theme more? thanks (link)

Hey I'm the floppy person
When I do everything you and everyone says, something happens. When I go to drop down to the floppy drive 3 1/2, which is there, and then I click it, the computer automatically starts doing something without me pressing save, and it won't do anything until it tells me that there is nothing in the drive. what do i do?

are you putting the disk in before you go to 'file' 'save as' 'floppy'?
that happens if you dont put the disk in ahead of time.

I need to save a one page essay to a floppy disk, and I'm at a loss on how to do it. I know my computer has a floppy drive, and I have an empty floppy right next to me. If I bring the essay up, what do I need to do to make it save to a floppy? Also, which, side goes into the drive? The one with the circle or the blank?

hi.
put the floppy disk into the drive, now..it goes in a certain way too, there is an arrow that points in what way to put it in.
when its in, open the essay and go to "file" then "save as" then go to the drop down menu at the top and go to "31/2 floppy (A:)", then name the essay, click "save" and it will take a few seconds, by your floppy disk drive there should be a light, when the light goes out, or you'll just be able to tell by the noise your computer will make... you can take the disk out by pressing the button by the drive (do not pull out the disk before then)
i would also save it to your documents to, to be safe.
when you finish, see if it opens, but putting the disk in, going to "file" "open" "3 1/2 floppy" then open your file..if it isnt there, try again..=]
