well, you could borrow some money from your parents and get him some candy or a stuffed animal. you could make him food..cupcakes, cake, cookies- and decorate them. you could take the pics you have together and make them into a scrapbook or in a collaged picture frame. if you're thinking of something sexual well... i probably would need your age. goodluck!

colored lipgloss is k but dark purple is a little much. maybe a light purple or a natural color would be better.

Well, I've been really sick for the past week, & I went to the doctor on Tuesday & today I didn't go to school.

Pretty much everyday after Geometry, my friend gives me her book, because she expects me to go to my locker ALL THE TIME. Most of the time I say no, but I just couldn't be bothered to get into an argument with her. So yesterday I took her book. I kept her book in my backpack thinking I'd be going to school, but I didn't.

It's not like I didn't go to school purposely. She text messaged me, and this is exactly what the text said: "God Liz, where were you today? My book wasn't in your locker so I got a zero on the quiz! Stop being absent and where is my geometry book?!"

It's not MY fault, because I didn't know I was going to be absent right? Like if she's mad, I should just ignore it right? =]

I see how this is a problem... you probably shouldn't have taken the book in the first place but you're right, you had no control over it. it was just a lack of communication. you could have told her to find another person to share with because you were absent but it's not your fault she got a zero! that just means she didn't know it. having a text book with her wouldn't have helped... apologize to an extent but she needs to realize its her fault she failed. so yeah, ignore it.

omg im like going to die i borrowed a friends pair of light jeans last week and i have my period and i leaked throu on them and i put peeroxide on it and put it in the dryer and ran them through cold water and it didnt come out please how do you get period stains out!!?!?!? i need help fast shes going to be here in like and hour

I've heard cold water is best to remove those stains. scrub like you've never scrubed before! If you can't get it out by the time she gets there, tell her what happened and that you will try your hardest to get it out and if it's not out by friday, you'll buy her new ones.

Here's the deal: I love singing. I've been singing since 4th grade and I've been in choirs since 5th. I haven't taken voice lessons.

Now, I want to sing a song for a talent show, but my only problem is... MY VOICE IS HORRIBLE. I have experience, but it's just the way it SOUNDS, do you know what I mean?

I recorded my voice on my cell phone, and I got so depressed at the way it sounds.

What can I do? Will singing lessons help at all? Thanks!

your phone isn't the best source but yes, voice lessons help. it won't be overnight change but they can really change things.

I'm so pissed! I take this lyrical class for beginners because its my first year. I've been taking dance for 5 years though, so I'm pretty good. All the other kids in my class SUCK! They're horrible and look so awkward. Even though I'm one of the best in my class I feel like the worst.

My teacher corrects every LITTLE thing I do wrong. I'm the only one she's ever correcting! Everyone else sucks, but they still don't get anything negative on their dancing!! She claims that she's doing me a "favor" my correcting me, but why doesn't she do all THEM a favor and help them cuz they need it more than I do?? My friend tells me that this teacher pushes the people who are good. i don't know if this applies to me though. As you can see i'm REALLY pissed about this because I'm used to being the best at everything... school, sports, you name it!

your teacher is doing it because she thinks you're good... it's a hard thing to understand but it's true. would she correct someone she thought didn't have potential? when she ignores you THEN worry about it. Just keep doing everything and try your hardest. later you'll get moved up to a better class and leave the suck-y kids in the beginner class. it's just how life is...

I have choir pictures tomorrow and I don't know how to do my hair. I have dark brown hair that goes like 4 inches under my shoulders and it's kind of layered and naturally pin straight. Should I curl it or just leave it straight or what? pictures would be nice but if not then that's alright! thanks in advance!

I have a huge dance coming up soon. My dress is strapless. Whenever I shave my armpits, its always still dark! It'll be hair free but its always dark! How do I get rid of that?

shave RIGHT BEFORE the dance. i also wore a strapless dress to a dance and it wasn't noticable. my date was like 9 inches taller than me at least so my arms were up a lot... just put on deoderant and you should be fine.

What is a good mile time for a freshman at a 1A Texas school. I run a 5:45 mile, but have never run anything besides short distance competitively. I run a 59 or 60 second 400m. I just want to know how those compare to what my competition will be.

i honestly don't know who you will be running againstbut i think a 5:45 mile is a good start for long distance. actually, that's a really good start. it you can run 5k in 16 minutes, you're very good.

ok i am doing P.E this term and in 3 weeks i have to go swimmin. even when i am on my period. thing is i know that if i wear a tampon it wouldnt matter right? but see my problem is that my mom wont let me. she told me because it will make my cherry pop and it isnt supposed to pop until i am merried.(or so she says) but if i dont dress out and put an effort into swimmin then my grade will go done everyday by a letter grade. so basically (since we got 3 wekks of p.e) it can be possible that get an F and fail P.E completely.. and another thign at my school is that the guys swim wit the girls. there isnt a speration thing.. someone help me.. i dont about sneakin them bc i dont know hoa to use them..

honestly, i wouldn't make it a huge deal. your mom should understand. i've worn tampons and my cherry is still in tact. if its a small one, there's no way it will pop it. if you do pop it, how would your mom know? it's a tampon...it cannot take your virginity. tampons usually come with instructions and they're really not hard to use..you just have to know yourself well. back in the day, i was wayyy too embarrased to ask my mom so i took a couple and learned by myself so it's not difficult and can be done. i think you'll be fine!

wear the tshirt! i think it would be fine. but comming from all the "rockers" i know: don't wear a polo and pop your collar. anything else is cool by them if you want to "fit in". wear it with jeans.
