I had a pretty bad cold over the weekend, and since then, I haven't had a voice. I've been taking it easy with it, taking medicine and such, but I need my voice back. I'm trying out for choir and I need a voice. Any remedies or medicines that will get my voice back quickly? Please help, I need a miracle. I'll rate for effort.

mmkay. Some of the advice here isn't accurate or correct. First off, whispering DOES use your vocal chords, just very softly. Carry a pen and paper around and write everything. You would be amazed at the quality of your voice if you don't use it. Next, warm water (as warm as you can drink it) with lemon in it helps too. While you can't sing, do ear traniing if you have a piano or pitch pipe to help you better prepare for the audition. If you still have no voice, show up and explain. Let the teacher see that you CAN'T possibly try out. That's more convincing thatn a letter. I wish you the best of luck!!

I am currently searching for work experience and have written letters out to all of the places where I may be able to find it. However, if more than one of them says yes, how do I say no to those that I don't choose? What should I write in my letter?

My computer is having some issues with right clicking, and clicking links that create a new internet explorer window to open. When I right click on a link, all the options come up, but when I select "open a new window" nothing pops up, and the original window just freezes and then I get annoyed and close it. Even my msn is acting screwy, it tells me I have however many new emails, but when I click on it, nothing pops up.

I've run a virus scan, have a firewall, and ad aware, so none of that appears to be the issue. Any help?

I have to summerize 2 chapters with a total of 60 pages and we have to have details of the beginnin, middle, and end. There is 60 pages! How in the world can you summerize that many pages with vivid detail? Does anybody have any advice on how to summerize chapers? How do you know what is important, and what is not? Thanks! ♥

Tell your summarization to a friend, sibling, parent, mirror, whatever. Whatever you remeber to say is important. If you forget it, it obviously isn't important enough to make your summary! Good Luck!

yes! I do this every day and my hair is of medium thickness!! OK, first, gather your hair like you would a ponytail, and wrap a scrunchie around it once. then, fold the ponytail in half and wrap the scrunchie arond twice more! good luck!

Hi In law studies i'm doing this mock trial but the thing is that i need a little help. i've been assign to be the prosecuter and i dont really know what to do so i need some help. Like what kinda of questions am i suppose to ask or something you can give as an example i can ask or something like that. like how am i suppose to question that person. the thing is that this girl supposely stole a watch that has access to her ex- locker but since her friend and her were fighting she moved out. thats the case. please help! i will rate well but please dont be obnoxious. as the prosecuter, you should ask questions that would help to determine that the defendant is guilty. For an ex question, you could say," When was the last time you saw the watch in the plaintiff's posession?" or something. Mock Trial sounds like fun!

Hi,
My school doesn't do work experience but I need to do a two week work experience placement to get onto the childcare course I would like to study. So, I'm trying to organise it myself and writing letters to all the nurseries in my area asking if they can help me.

My questions are:
*Do you think they would prefer handwritten or typed letters? (My handwriting is neat)
*What goes after 'yours' when you don't know the name of the person you are writing to?
*I am studying for 21 GCSEs. Do you think I should mention this or would it make me sound like I'm showing off?
*Should I mention any of my GCSEs? For example, I know that I have to gain good qualifications in English to be a Nursery Nurse, so should I mention that I'm studying English?

Oh, and I've been to Connexions, if anyone was going to suggest them to me, and they were absolutely useless, so I'm doing this myself.
