I am twenty-one, soon to be twenty-two, and currently work in a loan servicing department. I truly enjoy my job, as well as college, in which I am reaching my last year to receive my degree. I am an outgoing person whom loves to have fun, be with my best friends and family, go shopping and most importantly, helping others.
Helping others has always been my passionate, from a young age I knew that I wanted to help other people and be a great influence in making someone's life turn for the better. i know a lot of you are probably sick of all of these questions. first of all let me say that i am a tomboy well verrrry tomboy, and have never had a boyfriend before. :/
well anyways, there is this guy in my math class, i don't mean to sound snotty or anything, but i am a little on the popular side, and this guy lets call him m, he is kind of on the nerdy side. but anyways, he sits right in front of me, and he is always turning around and talking to me about my hobbies, and then he annoys me to noooo end and when i ask him to stop and he won't i just ask him over and over again, then when he can tell i am reallly annoyed he's like hey calm down calm down its alright. and for the past 2 days at school, he's been grabbing my leg from under his chair. like what i mean is, i am just sitting there with my legs crossed or something, and then he like grabs my knee and doesn't let go until i say something. does this seem like he likes me or is he just being an idiot like most guys? please answer, i do rate by the way. Sometimes "nerdy" guys tend to show they like a girl in an off way, which could be the case. Or he's just messing around with you and trying to annoy you, which I don't really think is true.

hey. i really like this guy. so i texted him and said "i have something to tell you. i like you."
and he said "i thought you liked this other kid" and i said "no. thats before i started hanging out with you and that guys a real jerk."

Unfortunately, I cannot tell if he likes you from just the texting. It's really one of those dreaded situations where it could go either way -- he could really like you and not be ready to tell you, or he could not like you as more than a friend, and doesn't know how to tell you. I suggest talking to him and getting things straight, before they get too weird.

so here's what is going down
i've known this girl for about a month now, and i can't get my mind off her. tonight we were at a mutual friend's party (i met her through him) and we've been talking a lot and hanging out and such for a few weeks now. so tonight, i hung out with her for 5 hours at this party, and with about half an hour left of the party she tells me she likes me, i respond with the same thing. so we're hanging out on the couch and such and etc. and all was well. sorta.
you see, this girl is my best friend(the guy who was throwing the party)'s ex. and i dont know what i should do. i dont know if he's gonna be mad at me or if he's gonna be ok with it or what. he's a reallly nice guy and everything so i think he'll be ok with it, but i'm not sure. and i dont want things to be weird between him and i, because he's litterally like..my best friend. but it's not like they just broke up either, it was like...5 months ago, and they're still friends.
so i dont know. any ideas?

My guy friend went through this and he asked his friend about their relationship, how long it lasted, etc. And then, he brought up that he'd like to start hanging out with her, and really likes her. Then he asked him how he felt about it, and everything was okay. So I recommend doing that.

i used to be friends with someone and now he says we are friends but i cant talk to him on the computer and everyone says that he likes me but i dont think so but everytime i pass him in the hall he always looks at me and he talks to his friends about me i dont know if its good or bad though and if i go up to him and try to talk to him he always says in a rushed way i got to go ok, i got to football practice. and he doesnt play football any more.

You could be a sexy cop, with those long, black boots or heels. And you could wear a denim skirt, black tube top, and a denim jacket, or something like that. I think you could definitely make something work, if this is something you'd like to be.

I have no ida what to dress up as for halloween, on one hand I guess I could dress up as a goth, probably a hoochie top with a mini skirt and hooker heels, but on the other I could dress up as a princess, u know with a poofy dress but not poofy enough so other people cant see my curves!

Actually, I think it's a great idea. It shows that you really want to volunteer there, even though they don't have a volunteer program. I think it proves how much you want to work at that particular place.

I have a lot of friends, I would usually consider myself content. I like all my friends, but feel most comfortable in my little "group" of maybe 10 or so people who I think are closer. But sometimes I feel like if I left, no one would be really bothered by it. I don't feel particularly liked, and I feel extremely self-conscious when I am faced with either the choice of trying to finally talk to people I know, but don't actually have acquaintance-ships with, or just hanging out by myself. When I finally feel like I'm accepted (become part of an actual group, made guy friends, and then made friends with the most popular girl in school) there is someone who doesn't know who I am and doesn't care. Sometimes I just feel like throwing up or something because no matter how hard I try there is always something not right. Sometimes when I make friends with the "it" girl, I think that being friends with her will assure me friendships with her friends, but it never does. I like to be liked and when I'm not and put out of my comfort-zone, I feel like the little kid who's picked on and disliked. I thought that dressing nice and being nice and looking pretty and being smart would just give me a ticket into anywhere, but it doesn't. I feel like everyone is making this more difficult for me than it is for everyone else. I just feel sick and I don't know what to do. Sorry if this is long. Thanks in advance. (link)

We all tend to feel this way every now and then, but believe me, even though there is always going to be something that could've been better, does not mean that what you're doing is wrong or not good enough. One mistake we all make is to compare ourselves to others, which is never good. The only thing that matters is that you're trying your best, you seem like a great person -- I think you may just be overanalyzing things a bit.
I'm sure your friends love you and would definitely be bothered if something happened to you, or you left, etc. You could try talking to one of them about this, I'm sure they'll talk to you about it and reassure you how maky they love you cand want you to be their friend. And if you come across a person who doesn't want to be your friend, they aren't worth getting upset over.
