hey. i really like this guy. so i texted him and said "i have something to tell you. i like you."
and he said "i thought you liked this other kid" and i said "no. thats before i started hanging out with you and that guys a real jerk."
and he goes "yeah he is"
and i go "is that okay that i like you?"
and he said "ya"
and i said "is there any chance anything could happen?"
and he said "maybe. ill talk to you tomorrow."
and i said "alright. night"
and he said "cya"
what does this mean?
does he like me?
does he not?
does he need time to think?
and the other thing is, he never texts people he just answers texts... this happened at like 11 oclock on saterday... what time do you think it would be ok to text him on sunday if he hasnt texted me? what should i say?

If he didn`t like you, he would have freaked out or something or just not even answered. I think he likes you at least a little bit -- he just needs some time to think. I think he was just confused because he thought that you liked the other kid, & he`s just trying to sort everything out.
If he hasn`t texted you, try texting him like at 1pm or 2pm or something so he has some time to think after he wakes up & just say, "Hey. Did you think about what I said?" or something like that.

sorry but i cant tell from the texting--just ask him about it..dont let him keep putting it off..i mean the situation could go either way..maybe he likes you like that or as a friend..if the friend is the case then just dont get mad or worry about it..and if it is option number one then take the first move..maybe he just needs time to think it over! hope i helped

Unfortunately, I cannot tell if he likes you from just the texting. It's really one of those dreaded situations where it could go either way -- he could really like you and not be ready to tell you, or he could not like you as more than a friend, and doesn't know how to tell you. I suggest talking to him and getting things straight, before they get too weird.
