i recently went to the optometrist and he said i should wear my contacts less but i hate wearing my glasses as they make me really self comsious. if my eyes are getting worse what makes a difference if they get worse a bit faster? why are glasses better than contacts except for infections?
Well you should listen to the optometrist, he probably knows what he is talking about. If they are getting worse, wouldn't you want to keep them as good as possible for the longest amount of time? Contacts don't let your eyes "breathe" so that's why glasses are better.

Tell a close friend, a parent, or a school counselor. You just need someone to talk to. Try thinking of other things when you feel like cutting or go where there is a lot of people so you won't do it.

my dog is a 1 year old bichon frise. he has been scratching himself non stop to a point where he rips his face up & he bleeds. it's not flees (we asked the vet & he takes medicine). the vet suggested hypoallergenic food, which we ordered. my dog has been wearing a cone for the past 2 or 3 weeks (so he won't scratch) but as soon as you take it off, he does. what else can we do to make him stop scratching the way he does or what could be wrong with him? i don't want him to wear a cone or scratch for ever!

I love my boyfriend so much and he says he loves me. His 5 years older than me and has had alot more sexual parners which doesnt bother me. That's strange. That doesn't mean he's not attracted to you just because he can't get an erection. That happens to alot of guys. Depending on his age and health, he may have to go to the doctors to get pills. You aren't doing anything wrong. With him coming even before he goes inside of you means that he is fast. I'm sort of underweight..I weigh 95-100 pounds and I'm 5'2. But I'm happy with my weight, i dont want to gain any pounds. The only place I wanna gain weight is in my boobs, because they are really small. But everytime I try to eat a lot to gain weight, it all goes to my stomach and not at all to my boobs. The reason that I named the subject "my guy =(" is because the name of the man whom I love is Guy. I went out with him shortly before Christmas break and broke up with him the same day because my friends told me repeatedly that he was gay. I didnt believe in the whole "boyfriend girlfriend" thing. To me it was just a waste of time, but now I really like this guy in my class. Yeah that's a clever idea to make a different screen name. You can have one of your friends ask him who he likes and if he likes you. You really don't have anything to lose if he doesn't like you because you won't be seeing him anymore anyway. If he does like you and you two go out, it's okay if you won't go to the same school, you can make arrangements to see each other other places. It still sounds like you like the boy that goes to your school more though. I would stick with him so you don't get your heart broken by the other guy.

A friend has had a lot to drink, and they are on the verge of collapsing or throwing up, etc. I'm good at the emotional consolation stuff when people get upset, but what about what I should do physically?
Should they lie down, sit upon the floor, sit in a chair? Should they drink water? Should I get them to eat something? Should I take their wrists and make them wave their arms to keep blood rushing? Should I get them to walk? Should they be outside in the fresh air, or in the warmth? Where should I be, sitting side by side with them, sitting on the floor with my chest to their back?
Secondly, if I'm also drunk and I think that the atmosphere around me is getting aggressive, how can I accelerate sobering up to retain the role of a coordinator and get people sorted out?
They should lie down on their side, so incase they throw up in their sleep, they don't choke on it. Tell them to drink water and have them eat bread (it absorbs alcohol quicker). Don't get them to walk alot but have them go outside for a quick breath of fresh air then have them lie down. You should stay with them until they fall asleep. If you want to be the coordinator, you shouldn't drink at all. You can eat bread, like I said and that should make you sober up faster.
