I'm a mother of 2 boys who are 13 months apart. Talk about a handful. I'm a wife to the best husband I could have ever dreamed of.I'm one of the very blessed.
I have Bipolar 1 Disorder. I hate taking all these medications and always going to doctors appointments, but life is too short to let mental illness get the better of me.
Often times life is a challenge, and nobody knows that better than me. I wake up wondering if this is going to be a day my illness overpowers my meds, and either sends me flying like a bat out of hell, or leaves me laying on the couch like a wet dish rag.
Thank all that is good in the world that I have an excellent support system at home.
I'm one of the lucky ones.
I'm honest, and that can either be a perk or s flaw. Depends on how you choose to look at it.
I like to see it as a perk, because it's better to hear the truth than to be told candy coated bullshit.

Well this girl is kinda my friend still. Well actually she used to be my very best friend until we just stopped hanging out as much and I know why I stopped hanging out with her. She was just acting more mean than she used to. I explained it to her she said that she would stop but it stay that way. Well sometimes I still talk to her on the phone.
We are doing candy selling and I've only sold 3 boxes and she's sold about 6 now. So I go to this one market shop place and sell them a box and I knew that is where she goes every year to sell candy. I told her I sold a box there and she said that she goes there every year. I do know the guy there because we shop there and stuff, she told me she also knew the guy but obviously she doesn't shop there. So now she went all dramatic. I'm not the best candy seller and its hard and I've only sold 3 boxes. She isn't the bestest friend anymore.
So what am I supposed to do?
Well, you shop there and do business with him, so it only make sense that he do business with you in return.
I say ignore her. What does she expect you to do? Go back and tell him never mind he can't buy candy from you now?
The way I see it is, if she was so gung-ho to sell him a box of candy she would have been on the ball about it.

Well my friend got his first girlfriend, we're in highschool and I'm SO happy!
On the internet I said that I'm so happy for him that he fianlly got a girlfriend and asked who's the lucky girl?
Then he went all mean and one of the things he said was "why do you care"
Did i do something wrong? Did he think anything bad of my words or something? maybe when i said FINALLY? I just meant I finally see one of his 'girls' after all the years we've been friends and stuff...
I would think that saying "finally got a girlfriend" wasn't the nicest way to put it.

for the holidays, i want to make my best friend somthing. it would have a bunch of pictures of us on it, and other great best friends like Serena and Blair from gossip girl and those two best friends from the OC. also, a bunch of cute quotes like "your the peanut butter to my jelly" and maybe some inside jokes.

If you have Windows Movie Maker on your computer you could make a slide show video of pictures for her. You can have it play to her favorite songs, put your quotes in subtitles either between or directly on the pictures.

ok, im a freshman, and i have lots of upperclassmen in my classes, and ive actually made friends with a few of them. but my gym class, there all so mean. well. not all of them, just about two. we were playing this game and like her ball or whatever fell over by me, but i didnt even realize it, because i was looking for mine .and the whole time shes yelling, BALL. BALL BALL! BALL! hello you little bitch, get my ball. and i was like dude i didnt see it. i mean, if she would of said in the beginning, hey can you get my ball? i wouldve looked around for it, and gave it to her. but she didnt. so i didnt end up getting it.
so anyways, shes always been mean to me. i dont even know her name. i dont even know her. shes really ugly, and she wears the same outfit everyday, and shes just mean. what should i do about this? shes been mean to me like this for a long time. gym will be over for me this semester. but i was like about to cry today, and i dont know how much more of that i can take.

What should you do? Stand up for yourself and stop letting her affect you. Show her that you won't take her crap and you don't care what she thinks.
If it were me playing this ballgame, I would have said something like "Get your own damn ball. I'm not your caterer."
And why should you be near tears over what she thinks of you? Why should you care about it that much? She is a mean spirited bully who KNOWS she gets under your skin.

okay i want to take this new diet supplement sort of thing nits cally the pink patch. The best thing I can think for you to do is when you go for your drug test, take your diet pills with you. They can put it on your record that you take that pill in case it gives you a positive drug test.
I didn't find anything online telling if it effects drug tests.

im 16, 5'2 and weigh 109 i know thats not fat but my stomach could use some working on. like 3 years ago i had the perfect body minus boobs haha but anyway like my stomach was flat my waiste was really small everything was wicked skinny but i got mono and i lost alot of weight but it slowed down my metabolism and i gained7 or so pounds. i diet and excerisine and whatnot but like i want my tiny body again. when i sit i have rolls and like it makes me so self consious. my dad tells me to do crunches but you cant "target" spots so i just run because hey my thighs and arms could get smaller too but like once your thighs are big is it true that they wont get smaller because like that fat turns into muscle so you get big muscular legs? im not sure but can someone give me good exercise and diet tips. i want some like fad diets like drink cranberry juice for 48 hours or like cute things like that. oh and im also a vegeterian.

First of all, should I just buy vanilla icing and use food dye to make different colors?

Just to add:
You don't want to add food coloring to store bought vanilla icing- the food coloring will make it have a runny texture.
Use the royal icing search the other columnist gave you. Making your own is less of a headache.

Last night I tripped over my computer chord and fell forward into hard wood floor, I didn't get a chance to brace myself so I basically just hit the floor hard.
My chord was plugged into an outlet (And my computer) and it was pulled really tight since the chord is short. My computer was sitting on top of a box which was relatively high. I had hopped over the chord to get something, and I went to turn back, but instead of going OVER the chord, I ran into it. Like I said, I fell forward, and took my computer with me. Meaning it fell to the floor just like I did.
I got the wind knocked out of pretty badly, but lately it's been hard for me to breathe. I have anxiety so honestly that might be all it is. I know that none of you are doctors, but is it possible for me to puncture a lung or something just by falling like that? Please just help me, thanks.
A punctured lung is caused by things like either, A) Impalement; B) Broken rib that pierces into the lung.
You would know if you had a broken rib. It wouldn't be just hard to breathe, it would HURT to breathe.
To be on the safe side, you probably want to get in to see your doctor and get it checked out. At least then you would know, and that would ease your anxiety.

I've heard that antibacterial soap isn't so beneficial, as it also kills good bacteria. I was wondering just how harmful it (potentially) is, and why ...or is it all hype?
Well, the thing about antibacterial soaps, etc, is that they kill off all germs and bacteria.
What folks don't seem to realize is that you NEED germs and bacteria to keep a strong, healthy immune system. Your body practices on these germs by fighting them off in order to be strong enough to fight off bigger and more serious germs and bacteria.
The reason they don't realize... well, just turn on your TV and check out how many cleaning products companies push onto consumers by making them FEAR germs.
Next time you see a Lysol commercial, pay attention and you will see that they put the fear of germs into you in order to sell their high dollar products.
I don't know about the facts and what not, that is just what I learned in biology class back in the day.
Personally, I just use soap and water. It's hard to find just plain old soap these days, though. I keep a tube of Germ-X in my son's diaper bag for in the event of a soiled diaper at someplace where there is no available place to wash my hands, leaving me no other option.

To kind of sum this up, I'm doing a school project and I'm creating a book about the relationship between a little girl and her dying grandfather. It's a childrens book, about 25 pages, 3-4 sentences a page, illustrations, etc. I've decided to donate about 5-10 copies to the clinic where this man goes (he has a disease that's killing him). My mom said I should probably get it copyrighted, just in case someone would be cruel enough to steal it. It's a really good book and we're actually hoping to get it published. In the mean time I think it is a good idea to get it copyrighted for safety reasons.
My question is how do I go about doing this? Who do I contact? Does it have to be published and a published has to copyright it? Do I contact someone and they do it, if so, who?
Pretty much, if you have ever had anything copyrighted, a website, a book, anything whatsoever.. who do I contact and how do I go about it.
I'm 17/f but my parents can help me do this if I'm too young or something.

Yes copyrighting would be the best idea. Your mom is right, there are people who are low enough to steal a children's story as their own.

i heard that when you put eyeliner on the skin part inside your eye (you know when you pull it down to put on the liner) anyway i heard that you can get plates (these red bumpy things on the skin that cant go away) where you put the liner, if you use liner continually throughout your life...so my question is that if i would use eyeliner, would i get plates? like, is it true, or a rumor?? because im worried, i really dont wanna get plates, but i dont wanna stop wearing makeup either lol..
btw im 13/f..and plz dont say anything like im to young for my age to be wearing makeup...im not the only one wearing it.

I have no clue what eye plates are, but I know you can get a sty on your eyelid from using outdated make-up, or not washing it off properly.
