i have a horrible sunburn.... i mean horrible! it doesnt even look that red but it KILLS! for example, i went to bed at 10pm and i woke up at 12 not being able to sleep bc it hurt so bad! what can i do! when can i start going to the tannign place again?

You have to put aloe on, that helps so much. It'll hurt a lot for the 1st day or so, but then it gets better. I wouldn't go tanning until it was completely gone. Good luck!

This boy we call Pogo thinks I like him but I dont at least not anymore. At first he was all I thought about but now since I got a really good look at him he is ugly. I mean he has yellow teeth and he cant walk straight he smells funny and look so gay.I dont even want to be his friend anymore because he is so annoying. So what should I do?

Wow, that same thing happened to me! It took awhile to figure out that he's ugly as hell. I just ignored him for awhile and avoided him, which eventually worked, but it was mean and I felt bad. Talking to him about it would make things worse, because you can't just tell him he's ugly and you don't like him. But just tell him that you only want to be friends. Don't hang around him as much, and hopefully he'll get the hint. Good luck!

My dog has REALLY bad dandruff(sp?) and i do not know what to do. Is this normal? Ive tried brushing him but theres just so much! Does anyone know of any good products?

It's normal. It's winter, and you're dog just has dry skin. Try taking it to the vet, and they can get your dog a prescription.

I have been going out with my boyfriend for 6 months. Lately though he has been acting really possesive. He wont let me look at other guys and everytime I have to do homework or a school project with another guy, he always thinks I have a crush on the guy. What should I do to get him to quit acting so possesive? Thanks a bunch!

Ok, I think you should just talk to him about it. You have to let him know that you trust him and he needs to trust you, too. Trust is really important in a relationship. Try getting a group of your friends, including guys and invite him. Then show him that you have no interest in any other guy, and he'll trust you more. Good luck!

You can always wear a tankini. Or buy some cocoa butter formula at a drugstore. It's made for scars. Good luck!

How do you change your grade point average to like a 4.0 ... I know my average out of 100 is like an 87 so how do i put that into a point...

Ok, I think I know what you're talking about.
A - 4
B - 3
C - 2
D - 1
F - 0
You add them together, then divide that number by the number of grades. Let's say you have 3 A's, 2 B's and a C, you would do 4 + 4 + 4 + 3 + 3 + 2. That's 20. Then you would divide that by 6. And the answer is 3.33.

what exactly do they do when you get a pap smear?

It's a real quick test that takes only a few minutes. Your gyno will ask you to lie down on an exam table and put your feet in stirrups. They put a sheet over your legs and stomach. The gyno puts a speculum into your vagina, and opens it to see the cervix and then they do the pap test. They will either use a brush or a swab to take a few cells from inside and around the cervix. Then they put the cells on a small glass slide, and check it to make sure they're healthy. The whole thing is usually painless.

Lol. Ok, well try putting it on silent or vibrate when you don't want it to ring. I'm not sure what kind of phone you have, but I have a Verizon and on the side, there's a thing where you can set it to silent and everything. If you can't find it, just look in your phone manual. Good luck!

Did she know that you like him? If not, then wow, what a biotch! Lol. Well, guys are confusing, but I think he probably just liked you both and she asked him out first. So when/if they break up, just make sure you're there for him, and that way, you'll get closer. (wink wink) Then ask him out. But in the meantime, look for someone else. Good luck!

I want to stop biting my nails but I don't know how to. I've tried before and it never seems to work out. My mom tells me to sit on my hands but that doesn't work. I've tried chewing gum and yet I still bite them and my nails are too short to paint. I've even got my nails done before and when I take the fake nails off and my real ones are long they just break off. Any suggestions?

You really just have to keep your hands busy. Always keep something small, like a rock or something in your hands and wear gloves at night. There's also stuff you can buy at drugstores that you put on your nails and it makes them taste awful, so you won't bite them. Don't worry, a lot of people have this problem and I know you can stop. Yes, I realise that these questions are asked ad finitum, but mine is SLIGHTLY different, so please hear me out!
I'm having problems with spots but I have INCREDIBLY sensitive skin - concealer, spot sticks, even tea tree oil sets me off in huge rashes. I've tried all sorts of face wipes and washes, including Garnier, Clearasil, Clean and Clear, WitchHazel, and Skin:Naturals, but none of them seem to do anything much for me. Does anyone know of any more 'natural' or 'home' remedies that I could use and are suitable for sensitive skin? I'm talking about both the occasional spot and all over here. Thanks!! xxx

Hey! You should probably go see a doctor about it, but there's this stuff called Bare Minerals that's supposed to work REALLY well! I'm not sure if it's sold in stores, but I see comercials for it on TV all the time. Good luck!

My friends trying to quit smoking, he asked me for adviced and I told him to use those patch thingys. But is there any other ways to quit smoking? If you smoked, and now you dont..how'd you stop? Thanks and I'll rate everyone!

Well, I don't smoke, but my brother does, and he's using the Nicorette gum stuff. It's orange flavored. And that's working really well. Good luck!

well my bestfriend pressures me. she wanted me to spend the night last night but i was tired from a trip and did not get back till midnight. She is always getting mad at me for that stuff what should i do?

Try talking to her about it. She's being way too controlling. Try writing her a nice note or an e-mail and explain how you feel. If she doesn't change, try looking for better friends. Good luck!

Okay well me and this guy were together over the summer and our relationship was kind of, well lets just say he wasnt so good at being a boyfriend to one girl. The thing is though that i fell for him and hes the first guy ive ever felt this way for. And i mean hes done some pretty shady things to me but still through all of that im there for him and i support him with everything (*making the college basketball team/new jobs/new car..everything*) and he knows how i feel. Well the other night we were talking online and he was telling me how amazing i am and how he really does love me and what not. Now normally id believe him but i cant because i know that if he truely did, he'd be with me right now and not a bunch of girls, ya know? So what im asking for is what is your perspective on this whole situation. Do you think im worng for not believing him or do you think he really does care but he wont be with me because he doesnt want to hurt me..thanks in advance..x0x

He might actually mean it, but I wouldn't be too sure. He's with a bunch of other girls! It sounds like he can't commit to a relationship. Give it time, because he could change, but for now, I would try looking for other people. Good luck!

Last night my friends and I went to McDonald's and one of my friends got an oreo McFlurry... Well i was driving my dad's car and apparently she spilled it all over the backseat and now there is black oreo stuff all over and I have no idea how to get it out! My dad will be so mad if he sees it! So if you have any ideas about stuff i could use that i wouldp probably have sitting around the house i would really appreciate it!

Try getting a wet/warm wash cloth or sponge and use Fabric cleaner to clean it up. Then wait until it dries and maybe use a small vacuum to clean the rest up. Good luck!

does anyone know what kind of job an 11 year old could get(this is for my sister)

Well, she could try baby-sitting and pet-sitting. That's really the only kinds of jobs she can have, since she's only 11. Maybe shoveling driveways after it snows. She could do work around the house, and your parents can pay her for that.
