Q: there is this guy i go to school with and he is popular. All the girls think he's so cute. (including me)He is a hottie very cute. Recently i was in the liabary and he walked up to me and asked me out on a date i was shocked out of mine. I could not understand why he asked me because i am not one of the SKINNY, PARIS HILTON, popular brand name, expensive close wearing girls. I shop at target. I was so flatterd i said yes quickly. we went out on our date and it was heaven. He kissed me passionatley and asked me to be his girl freind. Just when i thought this was the man of my dreams he turns to me and says.... "Oh yeah about tonight and our relationship don't tell anyone about us. I'm a private person and i would like to keep this to my self." I was so offened by this i could not speak.I just nodded my head and went along with it beacuse he was still so cute. When he sees me in puplic it's like i'm thin air he says nothing to me. As soon as his friends are not around it's all hugs and kisses. My question is could it be that this guy is embarrassed to be seen with me?

He probably is embarrassed to be seen with you. Or maybe he just isn't ready for people to think he is ready to settle down. Talk to him about it. It doesn't matter how hot someone is, if they don't want to be seen with you, there's no purpose in going out with him. Besta Luck

Q: You see my best friend has this boy bofreind right. And to me she is spending way more time with him then me. Thats the only person she talks about to. I have been her best friend since the 4th grade he just been her bf for a couple of months. What should I do?

Tell her that it bothers you. Maybe try to invite her places like the mall/movies more often and tell her you want it to be just you two. Maybe she is just scared that if she spends less time with him he will break up with her. Just talk to her about it. Besta Luck

Q: This is sortof long but please!!!

Ok i have this EX friend Rachael. She hangs out with William and Laura. We aren't good friends but we used to be best friends. But one day we got in a big fight and got back together. It hapened 3 more times. Then just last week William told me that Laura recorded me on her phone saying that Rachael is a b@#$% but i only called her that when i didnt like her. i asked Laura but she said she didnt.. And Rachael is like going around telling peoeple bull about me and telling people to stay away. She is just so ARGH!! i don't want anythig to do with her, but shes in my french class and she always sets her infront of me. I JUST HATE RACHEAL!!! how the heck can i get her out of my friggin life? as well as Laura and William

Whenever your in French class, just act like she doesn't exists and that you have bigger and better problems to solve. Eventually she will get the point and leave you alone. As for the rumors, there isn't much you can do except wait for it all to blow ova. Besta Luck

It is a bad idea. There are so many things that could go wrong. It could ruin your reputation, make you pregnant, spoil your friendships, make you feel like a hoe and alot more. Just wait a couple years. But if you still want to, make sure you use protection. Besta Luck

Q: There was no Funky Light category, so Random Weirdos will work.

About 5 days ago, i bought myself a lava lamp. On the package, it stated that i should let it go for 4-6 hours the first time i use it. I've done that and all, but now everytime i use it, it still takes 40-55 minutes to actually get going with the lava.

My question is, to all of you lava lamp experts, is will the "starting up" time get faster? Is there something i can do to make it go a little faster?

Q: my mom is a alchoholic and has been in california for re-hab for 4 weeks.. how can i handle this..?

Send her letters, call her. If you don't really want to talk to her right now, try talking about it to a close friend/family member. Or, if your not the talkative type, write down what you feel. Always let out what you feel somehow, its a good way to relieve stress/hurt. Besta Luck

You could try looking at other people's buddy profiles. Not too many sites have them since if you do a buddy profile look up on a regular browser it doesnt look right. Besta Luck

Q: Hey everyone..I'm 13, 5"4, and 135 lbs. I'm athletic, i'm really into softball and i'm a cheerleader. ALL of my friends try so hard to tell me all the time that i'm not fat. I know I may not be FAT, but i'm most definitely not skinny, or close to it. My stomach sticks out about 3 inches more than i'd like it to. Everything else about me is fine, but my stomach is stopping me from wanting to have a boyfriend, stopping me from being confident, and basically taking over my life because it always causes me to be in a bad mood. I'm not one of those people that want to be deadly skinny. I honestly am overweight, although my BMI is average. I've tried diets but they usually only last about a few weeks, a month tops. I excercise whenever i can which isnt frequent, but NOTHING seems to help. Im going on vacation in April and I would really like to have lost a lot of weight, well, just inches i suppose. I don't have trouble getting boyfriends but the problem is im always scared that they dont like me or wont if they realized that im not as skinny as everyone else. When i dress myself, i dont wear wicked tight clothes, or slutty crap. I look good but not as good as i could look if i was skinnier. If ANYONE has any advice as to what i could do, i would TRULY appreciate it. I can sometimes be very committed to diets but not as much as i could be. I need something that i can easily do to get rid of some inches by april, or sooner. I dont realy have money or rides to go to the gym, so i have to work with whatever i can do at home. I jog too, but that doesnt really help me. I would honestly be the happiest person alive if i was skinnier, and i mean that. Please, help me out guys. p.s-sorry this is so long.

I think you should ask your friends to help you out. Maybe try working out with them and have them kind of help you get motivated. You are NOT fat, their are so many other bigger people out there. But if you want to loose weight, just ask your friends to go jogging maybe every other day around a park or something. Besta Luck

Q: ok there is this guy. We both liked eachother, we used to talk to each other all the time and he used to tell me all the time that he loves me and he wants to spend the rest of his life with me. he said that he wants to be alone with on valentines day. And so i went to my dads house to be alone with him and we were talking in my room and listening to music and sudenly my dad bursts in my room and starts swearing at him to get the fu*k out of his room. i got really upset so i left. And the guy was still talking to my dad and when he came outside by me he came over to me kissed me and said that i need to go talk to my dad because he is going crazy in there. I said no because he wont listen to me(+ he was drunk so that wouldnt help)and he said that my dad thinks that we had sex and we didnt. The guy was really mad. He looked at me in front of all my friends and said: I dont even look at you that way let alone have sex with you. Im sorry but i started to cry. why would he day he want to be with me and then say he dont what up with him? And whats up with my dad??? please help me i could use it thank you. i rate high.

I think you should ask him whether you are together with him or not. Maybe he just thought that because of your dad that he couldn't go out with you. Ask your dad about it too; try to make him see that he is a good guy (if you are going to go out with him again). Besta Luck

Q: I complain a LOT. And half the time I do it without meaning to...and it's starting to annoy me, let alone the people around me. Any tips on how I can stop complaining, or at least reduce the amount of complaining I do?
I whinge about all sorts of things, from the weather to homework to the fact that I'm tired/hungry/bored...whatever. It sucks, I feel like I don't have a good word to say about anything any more...I want to be positive again, but how?

Try to think about WHAT your complaining about at first. If it really isn't that big of a deal, just drop it. I use to be the same way. I would try to wake up and think about the GOOD things to start with, it should make everything alot easier to compliment on. Besta Luck

I think you should give him a chance. What is there to loose? You can't really force someone to like you anymore than they already do. Just be yourself. Besta Luck

Just tell her that she is not fat and that she will eventually find someone in a matter of time. Or you could just tell her that it bugs you when she says stuff that isn't true. Besta Luck

You should never let your friend date one of your ex's. It is the biggest way to destroy a good friendship. But I would just allow your feelings to pass. Normally that happens when you see your ex and your friend with eachother because you realize that your jealous. Trust me, once you get back with her its not going to be that great. Besta Luck

Try going to the movies on a double date with a couple of your friends. Or you could always explain to him that none of your friends like him and it bugs you when he acts like a flirt. Besta Luck

Try asking her why she doesn't like Danielle. If it takes her awhile to reply, just tell her that she is your best friend and nothing is going to change that so she really needs to get over it. Try to say it nicely, but in a way so she understands that you are serious. Besta Luck

Q: my best friend keri was a goody good person and this year this kid started to like her and hes the only one who ever gave her attention so she wont let go of him and he made her do really bad in school and now she has to go to a private highscool and her moms mad mean to her and shes been grounded and so now she dont even care and is bad all the time and her mom told me and our other bestfirned she dont want her hanging out with us only goody goddy people and keri dont even care anymore because her mom never keeps her word so if she keeps doing bad like she is her mom really wont let her hang out with us and i dont know what to do i want her to be good with out makin it seem like im lecturin her

Just tell her how you feel. If she is a true friend, she would understand. Don't make it seem like you are mad or anything, but just that you care. Besta Luck

Well, if he does hate you, there isn't anything you could do about it. Maybe you should try asking around to see what he is like and who he hangs out with. Try to get alittle more information before you talk to him. Besta Luck
