I'm really nervous that this weekend at the beach I will get my period. My mom hasn't got me tampons yet cause I haven't even had my period for half a year. I can't go in the ocean and stuff though. And I am really scared I will get it over the fourth of July at the beach when MY WHOLE FAMILY is there. I want to perticipate in stuff and not worry about my period. What can I do?

Okay my birthday is in like 2 months. Aug 14. I don't know what i want to do. I want to be with my friends but I have plans for that night. I wouldnt mind having a party, but it cost money. what should i do but i dont want to spend a lot of money

Since its in the summer i think you should have a beach party or a pool party. You dont have to rent the whole place out. You can just invite like a bunch of friends. and if you want to go to like a pool that costs money each person just tell them they have to pay for themselves. HOPE I HELPED!

I just started my marching band training today, and my calfs get very soar really easily. Does anyone know any exercises I can use to strenthen my calfs?

Put the Balls of your feet on the edge of a stair and let your heels go as far down as possible without falling and go up on your tippy toes and back down. do 2 sets of 20 twice a dayy. But while your doing it hold onto a railing. So you dont fall. :) HOPE I HELPED!

We're having a BBQ at our house in August and my mom is inviting this family that has a boy that im really crushing on! I don't know what kind of outfit I should wear! Should I wear shorts,capris, or jeans? Should I look casual or dressy casual since we ae the hosts? What kinds of styles should I look for and where??

I would wear, like jean shorts, like daisy duke shorts. and maybee a wife beater or just a cute t-shirt. Just like how you would normally dress but like still be cute. I wear a lot of black clothing. In fact, I'm almost always in black. I'm not attempting to be goth or anything; I simply like the colour in clothes and I feel it suits me. Occasionally I'll wear colours but for the most part I wear black. Ever since this though, I've copped a lot of critisism from people. So many people have asked me why I wear so much black. A couple of guys have said they'd like me better if I didn't wear so much black. One "friend" of mine even went so far to tell me I don't look good in it and to stop wearing it!

I just can't understand it. Why is it such a big deal? I'm a happy person, and am not goth at all. I just like black clothes. What should I do?

I hate my dad..I'm not joking. I honestly do and not just for some stupid reason.
My dad always is threatening my mom with a divorce and stuff she starts crying. I hate seeing her cry when she never even did anything to deserve this. He always is calling her horrible names and cussing at her and me. He hits her sometimes too..she almost called the police. He even hit me once..
I'm so scared of him and so is my mom and my brother. I haven't talked to any of them yet about this. Whenever I hear him yelling or something I'm usually in my room and I start crying because it really is starting to upset me. I can't even TALK to my own dad..whenever he says something to me all the horrible things that he has done to my mom and I in the past just flash back in my mind and I can't speak and I have tears in my eyes. Everytime I hear him screaming at my mom I just want to go down there and tell him to calm down and leave her alone but, I just can't..I'm too scared. I don't know what to do anymore. I can't talk to anyone in my family about this.
How do I help my mom and get my dad to stop yelling all the time?

I have the same exact problom. What I did was i talked to just about all of my closest friends about it. One of them suggested calling child services but i cant because i'm not the one being hit my brother is. But your friends will always be there to comfort you. What i Do is just get out of the house as much as possible. And if it gets SUPER bad just runnawwayy to a friends. Whatever you do NEVER resort to cutting or anything of the sort. I have and i am now addicted to it. So pretty much just talk to your friends They'll always be here for you.

13/f, my grandmother used to be okay, never used to get into my way, always feeding us, and helping us. I went to this award banquet, and she didn't like what I was wearing. When she described what I should wear, it was a wedding dress. I explained that for this occasion, you just wear simple things, but she didn't listen. I went the way I looked anyhow. Everyone who passed us, she would say, you see how that person has that... and other what nonsense. She said how my breasts were sticking out. Bra or no bra, of course it would show, I have breasts, wouldn't the shape and size of it show? Now for graduation, she's forcing to dress up in some wedding gown thing. My mom had to tell her no. My grandmother thinks that I'm dressing the wrong way. What's her problem?

Hey I'm going to a party and my period is still irregualr so theres a very good chance that I'll be on it during the party/sleepover because in May I had it from the 23-30th or somrething like that so I'm expecting to have for the sleepover. And I'm kinda scared to wear a tampon to sleep because I don't want to get TTS but I know a ton of people who do. So like I'm not totally sure what to do. I mean if ther is a way to wear a tampon I will but I just don't know weather to not sleep over (but I don't really have a reason not the besided that one), wear a pad, or tampon. So any advice will we great.

But if your really that worried about it you can just change the tampon every 4 to 6 hours its an all girls sleepover right? so its okay
I wouldnt recomend a pad because well its too gross and you have the possibility of leaking so a tampon would just be safferr

Hi. If it helps, I'm 15/f. Ok, I'm not going to beat around the bush, I think I might be gay or bi. Lately, I have found myself wanting to be with a girl more than with a guy. I found myself wanting to be with her more and more everyday. I have had this 'crush' on her for as long as we have known each other. First, it started out with her looks, but I as I got to know her, it became stronger. I haven't had a real 'crush' on a guy since then. I don't really find any boys that attractive any more, but I find myself checking out girls more and more often. Could someone please help me, and with the information I have given, tell me what you might think it is?

I like this guy and he knows it. We dont know eachother that well. My situation with him is really uncomfrotable because once he found out from my friend he told all his friends and now they stare at me. One of his friends(I swear to god this boy is gay and wants my crush) is ruining every chance that i even had with him. He shouts out "there she is!"
