My mom is very overprotective & strict. I'm 15 years old and can barely even go out with friends. She worries about me because I do have "bad" friends who are into drugs, alcohol, trouble, etc. I think she should trust me more because I have never done any of these things and I don't give into peer pressure. She doesn't even allow me to get into a car with anyone. She has some points in her argument, but I know how to stay safe and what not to do. I'm a teenager and I want to have fun right now. How do I explain this to her and get her to allow me to do more things? She's just mostly worried that I'll get hurt or something bad will happen to me.

okay My Kitchen is all white. My cabinets are that weird plastiky white kind with red handles, the appliances are white and everything. The whole thing looks horrible. The floor is old and disgusting linolium, and since we moved our door to the other side of the room theres sheet rock showing below some of the cabinets.We aren't getting the whole thing done until summer possibly. Does anybody have any suggestions on how to make it look not so white? Is there any kind of decorations i can use to liven this mess up? is there any some typical things out there that make the kitchen look any better? becasue really, nothing matches, and looks good.It's just so horrible looking sometimes. I really can't bear it.

OKay iwill try this dont knwo if i can realyl help. Lets see i would start wit th the little like new appliances with cool clorlos like lime green and red or yellow. Gets new funn salt shakers... smething crazy that will livin up the place. gets fun oven mits as well.

Then i would get new cabnets for your kichen... make sure everything will match choose lke a color combination... not red and yellow tho... those colors are supoose to make you lose yro uappitie after a while. they are not welcoming colors together.
I would say maybe green and blue... thats what i would do.

Okay once you get new cbnets i would paint the wall. nohng 2 bright or dark... umm if you ar e2 use green and blue i would go with just a new coat of white paint... dont want 2 fgo over board with color.

For extra put like a colorful rug in the middel of the room or little mats but the stove and sink and counters... etc.

Getting bigger redoe the counters and flooring and
ithink youll be set.

This year i started a new school and made a really good friend. We do a sport together so we became pretty close fast. Well I am switing back to my old school cause i'm really unhappy at the one i am at now. Well i have to tell my new friend that i'm not goin to be goin to school with her anymore. What should i do cause i dont want to hurt her feelings but i need to tell her.

just tell her you are bign transfored back to your old school... that it has nothign to dowith her and that she is he only reason you stayed that long... keep in touch with her as well...

I am having my 17th birthday party in like a week or so and I was wondering if anyone had any good ideas for games, thing to do, etc. Here are something that might help I want the party theme to be pink and silver and the guys can wear red and grey, I have a pool table, big living room. Any ideas will help or you can tell me something about one of your good partys and I can get an idea from that? thanks and there is another problem how can I tell my mom to stay upstairs since guys are going to be there I don't know if she will trust me and I don't want her to be there cause I mean I am going to be 17 she should be able to trust me and I know that everyone will feel really uncomfortable if my mom keeps watching or checking up on us so what can I say to her ? Help and if u have any other idea, anything for a good party tell me please thanks again.

OKay i havent trhowen many parties only like 3... or something besides little birthday parties. This is goign to soudn lame but at mine this is what we did:

We hoocked up music to speakers and made a playlist that played over the games

Okay First of all... if you have ONE isty bitsy doubt that he has HIV or could give you any STD's then go see a doctor... acutaly i would see ad octor anyways... also hve the DOCTOR tell you the results... so you absolutely KNOW. Then if he is all clean and you have any mroe doubts DONT GO TRHO WITH IT... you need to be absolutly sure that you want to do this so you have no reguests. If your goign to do it i suggest going on various types of birth control... most likely the pill AND a condom... ask your doctor if he has any more advice... hoped i helped.

ok i have this friend... and she and used to have looads of fun together and she was someone i could act silly with ya know? but on halloween i asked her if she wanted to hang out and she said she couldnt because she had to "pass out candy" then later i found out that AFTER i asked her, her other friend asked her to hang out and she said yes... hmm a little suspicious? so i got over that but then last tuesday (the tuesday b4 thanxgiving) i asked her if she wanted to go see a movie on wednesday at like 2:30ish.. and she said that her dad couldnt take us or pick us up and neither could her mom... so i was like ok whatever i didnt really care.. but then the next day (wednesday) she said she was going bowling at 2:30! so i was lke well how are you getting there? and shes like oo my dads taking me and then my moms bringing me home at 4... whats up with that??? yea i forgave her once (is that correct grammar?) and now she ditches me again?? i dont think so... what should i do? is she a real friend?? and dont say "well try talking to her" because i tried that and she made up all these stupid excuses... i mean i want to be her friend but not if she treats me like this... any suggestions?

ok there is this boy that i really like and he gave me my first kiss.And when-ever he was in trouble i was there to help him. Also his dad hit him alot and one day he and his dad were fighting real bad. Then his mom and his dad left. so he called around looking for me. i know this because all my friends started calling to to tell me that he is looking for me.we finally got to talk he asked me to come over asap. so i dropped everything and went to his house. i thought it was an emergency so i ran. it usually takes me 25min to get to his house but this time it took me only 15.min. but i got there he answered the door(he had a big mark on his face)(from his dad) and looked at me i helded his face and asked him what happened and he told me.i gave him a really big hug and i kissed his bruse.But my question is now he wont talk to me. But he tells all my friends that im the ONE for him but he continues not to talk to me and he ALSO has a girlfriend Please help me...... i beg you.... thank you!!!!

Frist of all talk to him about turning hs father into the police. Then make him talk to you aboujt the whole situation with the girlfriend and the ONE. Hope i helped a little but its up to you.

In june i got in a car accident where my friend rear-ended some1...and i ended up with a spranged knee and a neck brace..well now whenever some1 gets like close to a car i start to freak out and like lose my breath...is that ok? because it was in june and its now november

ok , heres the thing , i got mad at my friend and now shes pissed at me and then i thought i should call her but i got no answer . anyway that part doesnt matter much cuz heres the important part , i got mad at my other friend for like using me to send notes to the many guys she likes cuz i like kno all the guys in my skool . ( or at least in the 7th and 8th grades ) and so the other day she wrote a note to a guy and asked me to give it to him so me and my friends went and like wrote stuff on it like the girls name , phone number and ect. and me and my other friends are going to put it in his band locker . does this make me sound like a bad friend or someone whos really angry ? should i send it or not ? im confused

the reason i lied to them is b'cuz i really wanna be as cool as them...they're good lookin' they're famous...and i'm ugly..and infamous..and since i got this cool and gud lookin boyfriend...i began to lie more and more...i kept hiding my real identity and became "the big fat liar"...the more i felt being treated so friendly the more i felt being used..i just dunno why...my therapist says that it was just my conscience..

you cant make it go away at all... with out birth control pills. Is this your first time?? Well i would advise NO SEX for now!! If it is your frist time dont use a tampon... wait a few motnhj before that. Since it usualy isnt heavy at first just wear a mini pad and store one in a pocket or something. Ive been singing since i can remember. I can hit any note, and i can do that thing that christina aguilera and whitney houston do. I REALLY wanna get out of where i am now, and my parents arent helping. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get myself a record deal? this sounds stupid but im serious about being a professional singer.. i write my own songs and play the guitar with most of them.

i have a bad self esteem issue and i want to fix it. how do i convince myself that i am not fat and ugly? i really think i am, and i dont ever say anything about it, but my friends always call me pretty and stuff, i want to be confident in myslef.

Most girls always say i am so fat or so ugly for attention. but some actualy think they are. Well it depends on your age and your weight. If you are in your ttens like 13-15 i would say the best weight would be from 100-120 range. if your like from the 16-20 limit i would say 125-145. for your looks... i would trust your friends... i mean if you cant trust them then why are they your friends?

I think it is better to be honest with my parents. they are goign to find out your preg. eventualy... so i would tell them before they lose your trust al together. As for your dad... talk to him about it... ask him to get to know him more and then decide... i would just tell my father that i really would apreciate his suport.

i got this friend and i've been lying to them for a long tym..and now they've caught me lying (and a really big one) that is..and now they made a vow to nvr talk to me again... what should i do?? i've tried apologizing!!

Well it really depends on the lie. What was it about... if it isnt to personal that is. Habve you doen something like this before. Well If not then you should get a second chance. o nthe other hand if i was really big i think they might be mad for a while. What i would do is just talk to them Tell them the truth about everything to do with this problem. Tell them your sry you lied.. you regret it ..etc. Then tell them it is there choice to make and you will try to respet w/e choice they make... things like that. Maybe they will start to respect ya.
