Singer !!
Ive been singing since i can remember. I can hit any note, and i can do that thing that christina aguilera and whitney houston do. I REALLY wanna get out of where i am now, and my parents arent helping. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get myself a record deal? this sounds stupid but im serious about being a professional singer.. i write my own songs and play the guitar with most of them.

Try going to a recording studeo and see what they think... but make sure its not like crappy or anything cuz you dont wanna get cheated. How ever that would work...
You could also (if you have enough guts to do this) randomly sing in the crowd or try going to tallent shows. There might just be a record dealer there...?

You could make demo tapes of your songs and send them out to EVERY single record company that you can think of. Keep singing, do choir or musicals, get yourself out there and get heard. Eventually someone will hear you, if you try hard enough! tell me how it works out, k?

first off i am glad your taking advantage of your talnt. If you have a choir teacher or somethingg i would go to her and tell her/him tht you are serious abtu getting a recording... Ask if she/he knows anybody who will help you do that... that is all i can think of

ok, make a demo tape first then go and send liek as many demos as u can to as many differnent companies as u can. believe me if u r as amazing as u seem they will be interested and will call u Good luck

I don't believe for a second that you can "hit any note" no one can do that... so this makes me wonder if you are in fact any good at all, or if you are just totally up yourself? If you don't even know what "that thing Christina & Whitney do" is called, then you probably shouldn't call yourself a singer. Go get some lessons and get back to me.

some things you could try are joining chorus at your school. another is you could join a choir in your church if you have one, and get into drama because drama carries along singing with it.. and they have disney tryouts every year. you should try out for that. also record your voice on a tape and let your music teacher listen to it or send it to a music soundtrack company and if they like it then maybe you just might get somewhere. hey and also they have tryouts to sing the star spangled banner at baseball games. tryout for that too!-i hope this helps. ask me for advice anytime!
