Words of advice on love:
- Don't ever let someone tell you that you are not in love.
- If you say that you THINK you're in love, then you aren't. If you really feel it, then you are.
- Never let someone judge your relationship unless they know FACTS.
- To me, age is not an issue. If you are 13 and dating a 30 year old, then it's a big deal. If it's 5 or 6 years, not a big deal.
- If you are being abused mentally/physically GET OUT OF THE RELATIONSHIP! Don't give the excuse that he apologized. If he loves you he wouldn't do that to you.
I'm not a fan of answering questions that are listed in the FAQ. If it's a question you can look up on Google then please, look it up on google. Don't be lazy.

They deleted it because it's a frequently asked question that we see so many times on this site and the mods get annoyed. You see the little smileys next to the questions or just a blank circle? That's what the Mod's do. If a question is good they get a =) smiley if it's okay it gets a =/ if it's a bad question it gets a =(. If it is given a =( smiley 5 times as an average, it gets deleted off the page. I'm letting you know, this question will probably be deleted.
i've been getting headaches alot and really i mean ALOT!...ive had 3 today and ive been having them like everyday. does anyone know what could be the reason?
You could be stressed out or it could be from allergies. Even if you've never had allergies in the past, people start to develop them after a few years and they get affected in different ways. Try to take advil or excedrin, and if they keep coming back you might need to and get an MRI. They just basically look at your brain to determine what the problem might be. The best thing to do is just keep taking advil or any other pain reliever and if it keeps coming back, you might need go to see a doctor. I had to go to the doctor about my headaches, but they asked me to come back after 2 weeks because they needed me to keep a "headache log" where basically you write down the time and severity of your headache and how long it lasts for every day. That also helps them alot to figure it out.
I have a sunburn on my forehead from a week ago. Now it's starting to peel, even though I put lotion on it everyday. Are there any creams I can put on it or something? Thanks so much! -Manders
You need to get aloe and put that on it. Also, if you take a really strong moisturizer and rub it really hard on your forehead, yes it might hurt, but all the dead skin will fall off and it won't peel. But after you do that keep putting moisturizer because it can still peel a very little bit.

No one can tell you exactly what it's like to be in love. You have to experience it for yourself. All I can tell you is that when you are in love you will know. People are going to tell you that a million times over but it's the truth. When you are in love you will know. Being in love is like you don't have a care in the world, like when you and that person are together it's like everything else in the room just melts away but just you and him (or her). Being in that person's arms is like the most wonderful place to be and they always make things better than what it seems. You're happy all the time, and it seems as though everything in the world is perfect when things are really crappy. Being in love is possibly the best feeling in the world.

-Kiss and/or hug them every chance you get
-Tell them how you feel
-If it's a girl, bring her flowers or take her out to dinner and PAY for it
- Tell them that you're so happy with them
- Again if it's a girl, tell her she's beautiful and perfect
It's the little things that count. You don't have to go WAY out of your way just to tell someone that you care. You can leave notes in their locker or car just to say "I love you" Yet again, if it's a girl, you can leave a flower in her locker or car with a little note. Keep in mind that it's just the little things that count.
I was friends with this girl named Tina for a whole grade before we grew apart. REcently, her mother died from cancer, and whenever I saw her after that she acted like she was fine, so I always made sure to act cheery and bright around her, and to pretend as though it never happened. My other friends all tell me I'm heartless and pretending like it never happened to her is just going to make it worse. What do I do?
How could it make it worse? Her mother died and I'm sure by you being all "Oh my god Tina, I'm SO sorry about your mother! Is there anything I can do?" That's not going to make her feel any better. When my grandfather died I didn't want anyone to talk about it because I just wanted not to think about it because I was tired of crying about it. You can show other ways that you're sympathetic other than talking about the death of her mother. You can take her out shopping with you, having a good time, invite her for a sleepover and just have girl talk! Let her talk about it when she's ready. They're wrong saying that by pretending it never happened is making it worse. You don't have to PRETEND it never happened just try not to mention it because that's when they start to get more depressed. She's broken inside right now and having people feeling sorry for her is not something she'd want. Acting cheery and bright around her is a good thing to do. Whenever I'm not in a good mood or upset about something I love it when people aren't all "Oh god Em, what's wrong are you okay blah blah blah." I hate that. Anyway, you don't have to say anything to your other friends but let Tina know that you're always there for her and if she wants to talk about it she can. Leave it like that, then go off and have fun!
i've been having these dreams, about breaking up with my bf. and i know i never want to do that. i love him with all my heart. then i have other dreams where hes cheating on me. i cant help but let these dreams get to me b/c its not what i want. i see him once every couple weeks and i miss him terribly, and i know some of you might say "maybe you dont want a long distance relationship" but thats not it. we've been together for a while and yes i dont like it but i would never break up with him b/c of that. hes too important to me. i dont know whats going on but i want these dreams to stop but i dont know how. and i refuse to break up with my b/f. i would literaly die first. please help. thanks.
Don't worry. I have dreams like that all the time, and my boyfriend has them too. I'm in a long distance relationship, and I get to see him once a week if I'm lucky and we've been together for almost a year. It is hard not seeing him every day but long distance relationships are always the ones that end up working out in the end. Sometimes I let the dreams get to me and I'll wake up crying and wanting to call him in the middle of the night and I do. I just talk to him about what my dream was and he just reassures me that nothing is ever going to get between the two of us. Just sit down and talk to your boyfriend and tell him what your dreams have been about, and just let him reassure you that nothing will get between the two of you and that he loves you and he doesn't want to leave you. I've had like 3 times in one week I'd wake up from one of those dreams, we all get them so it's completely normal. And alot of experts on dreams always say that alot of the bad things that happen in your dreams always mean that something good is going to happen. And the best thing that's happened to me was my boyfriend and I are still together and we want to be for as long as God lets us. I know it hurts when you have those dreams, but it's normal. It just means you're going to get your period soon. All girls get that when they are about to start getting their period and it gets heavier and thicker like the month befor you actually get it. Nothings wrong you don't have anything to worry about.
I have a really hideous color on my nails right now because I decided to let my friends paint my nails- but let's not get into that. I really need to remove the polish off of my nails, but I don't own a nail polish remover and my parents aren't going to drive out now to get me some. Is there anything natural or DIY that will get this polish off my nails?
If you have a nail file or if your dad uses sand paper for anything, you can use that. That happened to me once so I was searching for a nail file and we didn't have one so I used sand paper. You have to put hand lotion on after because it makes your nails a little weaker, but it works! Good luck.

It's fine to use a tampon. Wear the super one and change it every two hours to be on the safe side. It won't leak as long as you put it in the right way you'll be fine. Have fun, just try not to worry about it too much! And before you walk out with your bikini- make sure your tampon string isn't hanging out! I've seen quite a few girls that did that and let me tell you, it wasn't that attractive.
can you get birth control without your parents knowing? and how much does it usually cost?
If you mean birth controll PILLS, yes you can if you go to planned parenting and they are free, but those are not the best birth control pills. A friend of mine uses them and her period is really really messed up now. But that's just with her, it could differ for anyone. You can also get condoms at any drugstore and they run about 15 dollars for a pack of them and you don't need to have a parent with you or ID. So you can just pick out whichever ones you want and buy them with no problems. (I'd suggest the ones with what is called nonoxyl nine a.k.a. Spermacide.)

It should say how long it is going to take on the back of the bottle, but it should take a few hours at the most 4-5 hours, as it does with the majority of tanners. But to get the right answer, you'd have to refer to the back of the bottle for that.

Alot of guys will say that they are incapable of helping concieve a child, just so they don't have to wear a condom because it feels better without one on. You should ask his sister about it but also, just to be on the safe side, wear a condom because odds are with most women's luck, you'll end up pregnant. Talk to his sister about it just to get things straight but I'm not guarenteeing that she's going to know about it unless him and his sister are very close. No matter what you should always wear a condom. My cousin's fiance was with this guy that said he wasn't able to have kids. Now she has a daughter (she had a son but lost him to SIDS). So, you can never be too sure.

Yes it's very normal to have a late period especially if you've only had it for under 4 years. For the first 3-4 years of getting your period it is never on a set schedule for most women. The only time it wouldn't be a good thing is if you are sexually active because that could most definately mean that you're pregnant. Other than that it is completely normal and you have nothing to worry about. Also, if you are into any sports such as softball, dance, spring soccer, etc. that as well could delay your period because being physically active will delay it a little bit.

Try the long lasting lip gloss. Getting a regular lipgloss to last for about 6 hours is close to impossible. You would have to hardly talk, eat nothing, don't lick your lips, don't kiss any boys... Just save yourself the tourment and get the long lasting lipgloss. Almost every brand of makeup makes it and they all work equally good.

Yes. The pill is only 99% helpful. It may sound like a slim chance but you still have that 1 extra percentage to get pregnant. So yes, you can still get pregnant. I would be careful though next time. Even if you are on the pill, use a condom.
