advice

i have a HUGE problem with binging on food. i eat tons and tons at a time until i feel sick. how do i stop myself from doing this? i am trying to lose 10 pounds and could easily do it but this binging gets in the way..

note: binging doesnt get rid of fat weight
but in actuallity its the weight from the water in your body
so it is really bad and is not affective
try a normal diet, it may take longer but it will keep you healthy!

Hi, I have been trying to get my hair to grow out it seems for years. But, despite all my efforts it seems that it just won't get longer. Do you know of anything i can do to help it grow, or anything i shouldn't do? P.S. if it helps I have fairly long blonde hair; my hair is also fine but I have a lot of it so it is not thin. :)

actually trimming your hair is good because it gets rid of the dead hair and split ends. also maintain a healthy diet. hair growth reflects overall body health so if you are healthy then im sure your hair will be too :)

this school year, i've been moving from one clique to another cause i didn't fit in. until finally, i think my friends now are the ones.:) i love that they've accepted me and all but i can't help but get insecure because they're all pretty and fit. i know i shouldn't feel this way cuz there's more than just physical appearance but i can't help but feel it. especially when we go out and they could wear dresses or shorts with it looking good on them. please help meee.:(

Hello I'm a 13 year old female in a bit of a dilemma.

I get singing lessons and is pretty good at singing now but now I want to take up martial arts. But the thing is I can't do both because my dad can't afford both. I really like singing but I also want to learn how to fight.

Which should I pick? If martial arts which type e.g. karate, judo etc.

well you can sing on your own, can't you?
so if you want to try martial arts i say go for it just ask your singing teacher to give you some songs to learn

can anyone recommend a great karaoke software to me???

I want a good karaoke software which can remove vocals from songs and doesnt spoil the music..

all the karaoke softwares i got upto now were useless cos the songs were distorted when the vocal remover was applied...and the vocals of the original singer can still be heared anyway..

hello, i have brown hair, dark brown eyes that are small and a bit narrow, not too fat lips but pretty fat, a small but wide nose and fat cheeks. i'm a bit tan but not too much, kinda like in between rachel bilson and jennifer aniston. i have long eyelashes and brown eyebrows that go straight across.

what color makeup and what makeup should i wear to make my eyes look bigger and stand out more, and for my cheeks, lips, and nose to look small, especially my cheeks?!?!?!? Thanks!!!!!

i think mascara for your eyes, a soft blue for your eyelids

for cheeks i would say a really soft color

for lips i would suggest light colors and natural shades. also when using a lip pencil put the outline on the inside edge of your lips, it would make them look smaller

usually when you go to the mall mot stores have those free cosmetics places where you can get your makeup done. i would suggest you do that and that way you can get a professoinal point o fview and actually see how it looks

I have a really violent brother who often for no reason throws things at me and is really quite horrible to me. I do get on really well with him, its just that sometimes he flicks and becomes some violent monster. What should I do? Is there any way that I can help him to overcome this violent side of him? Most of the time he is just fine.

also try talking to him, that could help
and if things get worse you can always try talking to your parents about it although i'm sure things will get better :)

And you don't dress down, you dress UP! That means, no jeans allowed!

The teacher says that the girls could wear a skirt...

I don't wear anyhting else BUT jeans though and I do not like wearing skirts,especially in the winter.

im 14 in the 9th grade and i took the PSAT and i got my scores back and made 1340.i made a 48 in reading,39 in mathematics,and 47 in writing skills.is that good? me and this other boy where the only people in the large group who took the PSAT who were still in algerbra 1 so the math was harder because of that!but is my grade o.k. seeing how it is my first time takin it and im in the 9th grade?

well since you are a freashman i say you are pretty ahead of the game

i definatly think you will get better when you take higher math and it seems to me that you a relitivly prepared, you just need time. so i wouldn't stress the scores yet.

Okay, in my writing class we had free time to write about anything we wanted. Well I started writing a like little kiddi story, and well I've never had problems writing I really love it and I've let people read things I've written out of class and they say they rock So im pretty confident in this class. Well in my story I put everyone in my class (not by name, me and my BFF have nicknames for everyone!! so I used those.) Well it wasn't that great of an idea, because on thursday I was telling Nikki about my story when my teacher overheard and MADE me read it aloud. Well a lot of the nicknames were obvious.. and now everyones mad at me. And on Friday the only person who didnt care was the boy i like so he was like "katies storys rock and u all know everything she wrote about is true." because everything i wrote was sotrys that happened with a little twist.
Well he was all set until they pointed out one of the mini-storys I have him come into the classroom with girlpants on, not knowing it. And he didnt like that.
So now everyones madd including my BFF because in one the storys we had a pizza party and she got pizza all on her face and grill... (braces and achne.) but i didnt say it in a mean way she does have those things and picks on herself i tried apoligizing to everyone and they dont listen.

bad news I got an A and if I rip it up my grade wont stay becuase we have to get creadit by putting it in our portfolio.

hmm, i think it would be cool if you could have your apoloy read on the school annoucements
but other than that, i would say sorry again and next time write a story about the good things about those classmates :)

I recently had a scrapbooking party at my house. My sister got to meet a few of my friends from work. This was the FIRST time she had met them. I got a phone call from her a few days later, asking if she could have the home addresses of 4 of the women from my party. I didn't have the addresses on hand, so I told her I'd get back to her. She wanted to send them cards. She later told me she had looked in the phone book and gotten another one of the addresses on her own and sent a card to one of my other friends. Do I confront my sister? I think it's weird to send cards in the mail to people that are my friends that she's only met once. Also, she doesn't know the politics in my workplace. Help!

i have to play this (the 3rd movement) for an audition on janurary 12th.

i was wondering what tips you have for the overall musicality of the piece- or anything i can do to impress the judges with it.
im 16 and have been playing for 7 years about. this orchestra is pretty big (half the state is auditioning)

One impressive thing you can do is not to look at the keys. its pretty impressive to see pianist not look down while playing because it shows that they are just that good!

What are some positive choices for me to do after when someone calls you something rude?

say something along the lines of "wow, do you really think so?" and maybe ask why. but don't say anything back that is mean because then you will be proving their point.
