Cherry_Blow_Pop answered Thursday December 20 2007, 2:24 am: lol @ answer below me. There are no keys on a viola. Anywho, the advice I have you may very well know already, but just incase i will say what I think anyway. Learn the piece inside and out first, just normally. Then, what I usually do is to find a way to connect myself to the piece. what does it say to me? what does it remind me of? i try to make the piece as personal as possible, and through that i can play with my own little "touch". add your own little flare here and there, without completely changing the original feeling of the piece itself. i don't know if this will help, but i tried my best. :)
