well first off there isn't too much you can do to help the situation. but just talk with her about why she wears it. then see if the two of you can go off for a shopping trip and show her some clothes that would be better for her to wear. maybe she thinks that it makes her more desirable, but trust me it doesn't and the guys who would notice her over these, are the kind of guys she needs to stay away from.

well it probably means you aren't ready for it. it's most likely psycological. so try and abstain from it until you are completely ready. i always say if you can answer this question yes then you are ready: are you ready to be a parent?

I just got some hair curlers. (The kind you're supposed to sleep on) I have no idea how to put them in, how long to keep them in, if my hairs wet/dry, etc. Help?
ok this is what i did.
i combed water through my hair until it was damp. then i put the curlers in and used spritz on it but you can use any kind of hairspray. then i left them in over night and took them out the next morning and sprayed more spritz so it would stay longer. don't brush the curls tho, just pick them like with a comb(lightly) or with a pick.or if you need it done the same day,
get your hair wet then roll them, let them sit for 10 minutes then blow dry them until they are dry. then spritz them and let them sit until you need to start gettting ready, then take them out and spritz and style them.

Ok. For around two weeks EVERY night I've been having bad dreams. And it sucks.
It'll either be a new dream, a dream I've had before, or a combination of a couple dreams.
I've had this one for 3 nights in a row, seriously. I walk into a room, and look in this mirror. And there is this half-dead ten-ish year old girl with a bloody KNIFE standing behind me. But when I look behind me she's not there, she's only in the mirror. Then there is this other one where I get put into a coffin and I'm buried alive.
So...
Would there be a reason that this is happening ??

ok well i think that either you watch too many scary movies, or there is something stressful in your life. this may sound corny but dreamcatchers always helped me. and also do you drink caffine before you go to bed, watch tv, read, or eat? this could also be a problem. but if you get a dreamcatcher i think it will help.
and if you don't know what a dreamcatcher is, it is what the ancient inidans believed took away the bad dreams they had. the bad dreams would get caught in the web in the middle and the good dreams would pass through.

I have only been singing in a choir, but I want to start singing solos. I don't know how to sing with the confidence and volume I need. I have a good voice, I just don't know how to use it. Can anyone help?
ok well first of all, congrats on wanting solos. so first of all what will help is basic stance.
** stand feet shoulder-width apart**
** back straight, head up**
** breath with your diaphram**
** knees slightly bent**
ok well then everyday practice your scales, this helps with being able to locate the pitch and note easily which will give you more confidence and the conductor will see that you are ready for a solo.
also practice the songs in all parts, the sops,altos,tenors, and baritones. that way your vocal range will increase giving you more opportunities for different solos.
then maybe ask your teacher for some one on one time so that way he/she knows how important the solos are to you.
while you are singing, pick a spot(if you are memorized with the song) and sing to that spot so you aren't so nervous.
Always have a big breath, fill up on as much air as you can, this will increase your volume and give you more air.
and when you have to go on a higher note or the climax of the song, push it as hard as you can go.i mean make it worth it, take a big breath before you do it so you can mesmorize the audience.

well from what i know, no it does not have many calories if you have it straight. but it does have a lot of caffine in it and the more you drink, the more you become addicted to it. like i know this one girl who was on weight watchers, and she could drink all the coffee she wanted cuz it was a 0,meaning not many calories....... so anywayz, hope this helped.

well the bumps are ingrown hairs and if you don't shave and take care right then you will get them everytime. so this is what you need to do.
1. when you shave use a newer razor that is sharp
2. when you shave be sure you get it all off.
3. after you shave, use body wash or soap and
wash where you shaved. this will prevent the
bumps.
4. after all these, then be sure to dry off well.

for one, hold your head up no matter what people say about you. and if you are in a situation where people are staring at you or you feel uncomfortable, look out in the distance and not at the people unless they speak to you. next, take pride in what you do, like don't do things that you will regret or have to lie about. and always try to be good to people even when they are not good to you. And dress nicely, don't just throw on a dirty t-shirt and jeans. if you can't look at yourself in the mirror then there is something wrong. and lastly, if you are in a bad time or something seems unberable just remember 1. it could be worse. and 2. it will be better later. hope i helped a little.
