Yup, it's called dry sex or dry humping. I've experienced that feeling, so I don't think it's anything to worry about. But if it really bothers you, maybe you could change your position. It could be that your legs just fall asleep.

well it probably means you aren't ready for it. it's most likely psycological. so try and abstain from it until you are completely ready. i always say if you can answer this question yes then you are ready: are you ready to be a parent?
but just backoff until you are ready then the feeling should go away.

It's normal for couples to experiment with dry sex, clothed or not. But not being able to feel your legs is strange. Maybe it's something simple, like a trapped nerve/cramp.
Don't worry too much though. If it doesn't happen any other time, then lay off dry sex for a while. ;]
