My power is out and Im SO bored!
I NEED something to do.
the way im doing this is on my lap top but I cant plug it in because there isnt power and it only has a little power left! So I cant use it for much longer.
Theres NO lights, fridge, TV, or anything.
Its also cloudy so its dark and theres not a lot of light to see.
Im home alone.
Please give me some ideas of what to do!!

well, light some candles..or get some flashlights.(if you have some that is) read using light from the candles or flashlights.(again if you have them.
you can draw, you can listen to music if you have a portible walkman or cd player or something.
you could sleep to pass some time by. sucks when the power goes out, thats all i can really think of.

im 12- turning 13 in june, and im 102 pounds and im 4'11. am i overweight? and i havnt gone through puberty yet so am i gonna have a growthspurt and get taller? i also get teased a lot cause my breasts are smaller than everyone elses.

That sounds healthy to me! when you go through puberty you will have a growth spirt and with that you might want to end up gaining a little weight to remain healthy. your breasts will also grow. Don't worry about it though, or what other kids are saying, everyone is different and goes through puberty at different times, it will probably happen for you over the summer which isnt too far away. =)

okay .. i dont really know where this would go .. but here's the background information .. january 19th was my dad's birthday. he would be 47 but he passed away when he was only 43. i was feeling very very down that day and was considering cutting .. but my friend was talkin about how when she's upset she pierces her ears instead of cutting. and i couldnt do my ear so i did my nose.
its how i took out my pain and grief i suppose.
okayy .. im not posting this so i can get the who "that was soo dumb" speeches. i see those all the time. i just want to know what's the important things to do with a newly pierced nose.
what i pierced it with is bigger than the earring thats in now .. will the skin grow back everywhere except for where the ring is? and its itchy .. but not red .. is that normal?
what would you suggest to do to keep it from gettin infected? thanks soo much in advance .. (link)

i did the same thing, and i know you dont want to hear this but you know you shouldnt do things like that, and ive learned, trust me. stop while you can.
anywho, itchy means its healing, and the skin will grow back in to fit around the ring. clean it with alcohol a lot. and move it around/take it out for a second, litterally, and sitck it back in quick. dont know why but trust me with that. when i first did my nose 2 years ago i did and it never closed, and i never had problems with it.
--i think it will be fine,i dont really understand what you mean by that, she might get a little "bump", if youget a little "bump" and you pick at it and it bleeds and pus comes out, that means is infected but if you keep cleaning it that will go away and it will be fine. but for the both of you, but please, if it starts to hurt take it out.

Ok, so I have been going out with this guy for almost a month, but it feels like it has been longer becasue of certian things. I mean we have been like best friends since 6th grade and we madeout before going out, so it's not like we started out as slow as some people might. He's still really good friends with his ex, I mean I'm friends with her too and I'm also good friends with my ex, but I get jealous of his relationship with her, and I'm not usually a jealous person. I don't know how to say anything to him, or to her, because it's a werid subject for me, and to top things off the only person that I can really talk to about with, or have really talk to about it at all with, is my ex. go to your boyfriend and something like you know i trust you, and im sure im just overracting, so please dont get mad, just sometimes i get jealous when you talk and hang out with your ex girlfriend.
stuff like that, you shouldnt hide anything from him.
im sure he will understand why you would feel this way, anyone would.

oxy pads work good, but for home, the alcohol in them can make your face look red and sometimes bother your eyes, but they work great none the less.

I have a really bad cramp right now. I've already taken medicine and it hasn't gone away. I can barly stand up for more then 30 seconds because I have such a bad cramp. My flow is also pretty heavy right now, is this making it worse?

warm bath, and a heating pad.
warm things help. :) lol. they loosen up the muscles that are causing the cramps so it eases the pain.
and soon you should try taking more medicine if the time is right.

My bf lives out of state and he is coming to see me for valentines day. i am taking him dancing and i already have this very cute dress. I tried to scrunch my hair... which is what i want to do for valentines day but my hair wont stay. It is naturally straight and wont hold a curl no matter what. I have tried hairspray, gel and mousse. any ideas on how to get my hair to hold without getting a perm or going to a salon? Any particular products that work for you? I really want to scrunch my hair but it isnt holding. It will hold for about 1 minute then it will straighten back out.

this may sound like a smart remark, but im serious. If you go to CVS or any place like that, or any place that sells eyeliner, it usually says whether the eyeliner is waterproof or not.
I think the best one is Maybelline, its usually about $5.
Theres also covergirl, N.Y.C., theres a lot, just go to CVS and check em out.

Hey ok well me and this kid bobby had started dating around feb of last year realtionship was GREAT but then he dumped me in june for someone else my good friend. we talked over the sumer and he was telling me he was sorry and didnt mean it. he was with his grandparents all summer so when he came doen for a lil visit we would see eachother since the break up we have seen eachother 3 times and everytime we end up making out and he tells me he dont like me and doesnt have feelings for me anymore after we kiss and i leave. the last time was reccently i made a bet with his friend al the kidss house were we usually go to to meet up and i bet him that nothing would happen between me and bobby this time and it did, but come to find out he just kissed me to win his friend the money. @ least thats what his friend says and i havent got the chance to ask hm yett because he always lies to me so idk if he will tell me the truth do u think i should just foget about him and move on or what. i have tried sooooooooooooo hard to move on but i love him alot and dont kno how to get over him please help me i dont kno what to do. thanks (link)

I deffinately think you should just move on. This guy sounds like a total jerk. If he always lies to you, he probably just fool around with you so his friend would win the money. You don't deserve someone like this. He sounds like someone who says things just to get a little "lovin" from chicks, and I'm sure your probably not the only girl he does this too. You deffinately need to move on to someone better, you deserve much better than this! I know it probably is hard to move on after a good relationship with someone, but you will deffinately find someone much better, who you deserve. You coulg always go out with some chick friends to a mall or something, and "shop" ;).

Hey guys. well i just got my cartillage pierced on my right ear and its only a little stud. Well, i play basketball and we can wear earings during practice as long as there not dangly, but we have a game on wednesday and i just got my piercing done this previous wednesday. do you think it would be ok if i took it out for an hour while i play in the game or will it close up? well i have many piercings, and from my experiances, i think it will probably close up just a little bit, because it is so new. If this happens, you should just try and pop it back it, it will hurt a little, but at least you'll still have it ;) Freezing it will help with the pain too, if it closes a little and is too hard to get it back in. just make sure you clean it with some rubbing alcohol too.

Well, does Justin still like you? Would he be able to change his bad habbits for you? I think you should deffinately talk to him first, because it sounds like your feelings for him are stronger than the feeling's you have for Tyler. And if he is willing to change, I'd say you have something very special. If he isn't, then I think you should just take a small break from guys until you feel better and get over him, because if he wont change for you, then he doesn't quite deserve you, and he must care more about himself than you. Then when you are ready, I think it would be better to just try things with someone new and maintain a good friendship with Tyler. And you could also tell him that you sort of like him but don't exactly know what you want yet.

Do teen guys (around 14/15 years old) care a lot about a girl's weight? I get a dress down day tommorrow for school (my school wears uniforms) and i want to look nice but im really insecure about my thighs and i dont know if all the guys will be like OMG shes sooo fat and not like me. I know it shouldnt matter but i want to know if its a big issue with guys in general. i think you should get them below the eye, just a little below too. It doesn't matter what side you get it too, you can always switch it, thats what i do. ^_^. but if you are right handed, get it too the left, if you are left handed, get it too the right. but like i said, you can always switchit up =]
