Cramps I have a really bad cramp right now. I've already taken medicine and it hasn't gone away. I can barly stand up for more then 30 seconds because I have such a bad cramp. My flow is also pretty heavy right now, is this making it worse?
What are something I can do to realive the pain? Please help me!

Ok so you should use one of those cool heating pads. They help with everything not just periods. Also try taking a warm bubble bath . If that doesn't work try excercising but eat caffeine. Taht makes it worse. Drink lots of water instead. good luck! ]
You have many options here: It's well known that regular physical activity helps reduce the cramping in some women, so there's an idea. You could also try taking a warm bath and using aromatherapy. Applying a heating pad on your lower abdomen or back should do wonders. If you don't have a heating pad, you can make one by simply filling a sock with rice and heating it in the microwave for a few minutes [must sound silly, but if the cramps get bad enough, it just might be worth it]. Also, many women start taking pills around the clock from the time their cycle starts, until it ends. Any pain killer will do, but I reccommend Ibuprofen, Extra Strength Advil or Midol -- it's also best to take medication will a meal, that way the risk of stomach discomfort is slimmed. [: ]
ussually i take warm baths and it helps. also put a heating pad on you it really helps. i didnt think it would till i tried it. ussually if you do it for a half an hour it last a few hours. also swimming helps me.. i know thats the last thing you want to do but try to find a health club near you or somewhere with a pool ]
hey! thsi happens to me all the time and i know its major sucky well a good way to take care of cramps if youve already taken medicine is to put ice on it..you could also eat a warm liguid such as soup to ease the pain a little also i always find it relaxing to take a shower and that seems to help!

warm things help. :) lol. they loosen up the muscles that are causing the cramps so it eases the pain.
and soon you should try taking more medicine if the time is right. ]
I had the same problem you do a few days ago and i asked my mom and she said take a warm bath. It helped me and when i got out the rest of the day i was fine. I hope it helps you if you try it.
