side-swept bangs
I wanna get the side-swept bangs hair cut and I was wondering something..
Do you personally think it's better to have the bangs on the right or left side? Like, which do you think looks better?
It'd also be nice if anyone had good pictures of the haircut (of yourself or famous person or anyone) cause I wanna see some :)

well first thing- i dont have a picture but i do have the bangs. My older sister cuts my hair. But anyway i've had them both ways and personally i like them better to the left side of my face. Right now they are in like 2 layers- the first one being just below my eye and the second layer ending where the middle of my ear is. To me i think its the perfect size- and people complement me on them (sorry- not sounding conceited) but anyway i hope i helped and best of luck!

i always put my bangs on the right side because i always heard if you put anytrihng on the left that means you are fruity so i put mine on my right and i have mine a lil past my eyes if u wanna see a pic. just im me xXditzyazn10Xx..of if you have an xanga comment me and i'll let you see one

i think you should get them below the eye, just a little below too. It doesn't matter what side you get it too, you can always switch it, thats what i do. ^_^. but if you are right handed, get it too the left, if you are left handed, get it too the right. but like i said, you can always switchit up =]

I had sideswept bangs till I was twelve or so -- always swept towards the left. This was because, for a right-handed person, it's easier to push the bangs aside towards the left than towards the right.
I don't really recommend bangs, though. They have to be cut all the time and they get greasy before the rest of your hair does.

I personally like them on the left side. It looks cute on both sides.maybe cut it off at the top of your eye, like by your eye lid. I really like that hair cut and I hope it looks cute!

Well it depends on what way you part your hair. If you part in on your left get them done on your right. I had side bangs but I grew them out because I personally did not like them on me. But umm Jessica simpson and ashlee simpson have side cut bangs. go to sweetkisses.com they have some pictures that you could bring into your hair cutter and it is pretty easy to get done!

mine are to the left but it depends on your face...just ask your hair dresser what she thinks would look better for you, and a good length is a little below the eye brow.

Most of my friends who have side swept bangs have it on the right.
The lenght of most of theirs are where your eye ends.

I think they lok better on the left.
For how long they should be I would say...long enough to go behind your ear if you know what i mean. Just get them how long you think and see how it looks and it you dont like it tell the person to take some more off.

I don't think it matters either way, but if you have anything to hide on your face you might want to consider. Do you have a beauty mark of scar you don't like? Anything on the left or right side of your face you want to cover? Because if you do, consider that when you chose which way the bangs should be swept. That's the real beauty in having bangs! Other than that, I don't think it makes a difference. I personally like side bangs longer, they're easier to pull out of your face if needed, and there really is no such thing as "too long" because if the hairdresser starts to cut them and you prefer to have them shorter, you can always cut them shorter. However, it's not like you can grow your bangs longer if they came out too short. See what I mean?

well i have mine on my left and i think its better...dont ask why. if you want to see some pictures go to www.myspace.com/thatsswell and click on see more pictures under the default one...they are a little weird but thats just me. i think there might be an okay one to see my bangs...but my hair is really short and you might not want that.

i like them better on the left. but its just my opinion. it really doesnt matter. the bangs should start a little below the eyebrow and angle down right below the eye. the picture is sort of small (sorry) but i think this is really cute here of ashleys bangs.
