i hav events where i hav 2 wear formal attire. the thing is that some of these events are not all lengthy dresses. some are cocktail dresses. but my mother insists that i hav to where this long dress when i dont want to wear it. she always tries to make me look extravegant and i appreciate it but i need her to please stop going to the extreme. i understand that if i go to a prom, to a formal, to a party or something like that, i should wear makeup. it is an occasion where makeup should be worn. but, if i go to the movies or something i dont need to wear all of the makeup she puts on me. she puts a lot. and she puts like dark green eyeshadow and red lipstick. and sumtimes i just wanna wear like lip gloss or colored lip gloss but she sez that im too pale and i need to wear red. that duznt make any sense. im not that pale. i mean, when i wear base and things like that, it looks like i have a really pretty tan. and the other day she got really mad @ me because i didnt wanna wear that much makeup to a party. it was like at the last minute. we weren't even planning on going to the party but my friend and i decided to go at the last minute and it was already 9:30 and the party started at 8 so i up on sum makeup but i didn t put red lipstick or anything like that... but she has to understand that sumtimes i dont wanna wear purple and dark green eyeshadow when its not an occasion to wear to much makeup. can sumone please help me??? It would really help if I knew your age, but oh well. Holy crackers your Mom sounds like she is trying to give you hooker make up, DO NOT LET HER DO THAT TO YOU ANYMORE. Yeesh that sounds incredibly horrible. Ok, you have got to sit her down and tell her no more crazy make up, you are your own person and you should be able to wear what makeup and clothes you like(as long as they aren't outrageous). Anyways she cannot force you to wear crazy make up and long dreeses, you aren't bloody going to meet the King and Queen. Although sometimes dark eyeshadow and red lipsticj can be really hot, it doesn't mean you should wear it all the time, m ake up now daays is more geared toward your natural beauty not how you can look like a french whore for the day(by the way I am exaggerating on the whore thing) but gosh it sounds like she puts on a lot of make up. ometimes yhou just gotta embrace the paleness, plae can be very pretty, example Nicole Kidman, look at most actresses they have pretty pale skin. If you want your special occasion to be great then you have got to tell her no in a non offensive way, or if she does not listen, I suggest letting her do it the taking extra mae up with you and redoing it before you go into the place where the prom or whatever is. I personally don't think she should diss him or you diss Kyle, no person should ever say another person is a waste of time, no matter what, its just uncaring and rude. Does your friend even know they guy, he could be really awesome. Tell her not to judge a book by the cover. I don' think she realized what she is doing and if she does she probably isn't a great person. I fshe is a good friend to you then I would suggest that you don't talk to her about him or you just tell her you like him wether she does or not, its your life and you will like who you wan to like even if he is not hot to her, and if she can't except it the oh well. By the way you shouldn't tell her you aren't superficical then tell her that Kyle is a waste of time, becuase thats kind of hypocritical. I think the answer you already have are great, but I might know why your Mom doesn't want you to get them. If your Mom is christian then it might be that, some christians say it is wrong with all kinds of crazy backing, like " If you get this then you are bloodletting." or " Oh Jesus you are going to the devil." Pretty stupid I know but I have been there and stuff like that has been said.. Now I am not bashing christians because I am one, but sometimes its just like that with some people. Also it could just be that she is realizing that her "baby" girl is growing up and mothers tend not to like that a lot. As well as it could be she is just scared you are going to get it infected, and it hurt and lots of other mom things that mom worry about. Like some of the other people said just sit down and talk to her, don't yell be calm and ask her why she won't let you. Hey who said smoking pot was bad? Are you asking how to get even or just telling us that you are going to get even? The knife putting a hole in the wall shouldn't have scratched it up that much, and you did know that balisongs(butterfly knives) are banned in most countries and states, and if you get caught with it you could be aressted. Just a little factoi there for your benefit. If there is a knife shop or metal working place around where you live they ight be able to help but I don't think there are any knife polishing kits or anything.

There are different types of staph, if she had the kind where her skin turned brown and kind of spread out from the initial area, then yeah the smell could be from that. Staph is a bacterial infection, and well it makes your skin rot basically, but it is easily taken care of with antibiotics. If she is already over the staph there could be left over smell, just suggest a really new soap you found, and maybe she will use it and presto, no more smell, you know just something along those lines. Good luck and no worry don't be afraid of the staph.

Oh yeah there is a chance of you getting pregnant. If you even got a little bit in your vagina.How much did he cum? If it ws only a little then there is a smaller chance of pregnancy, if it was a lot then you should keep a look out on your period. But since you were on birth control then it is probably fine, just please make your boyfriend wear a condom next time, or just don't do it. When you first go to the gym, you lose weight, but after you lose the initial weight, you begin ti gain muscle, after your muscle become toned then you start to lose more weight. I know that is werid, but its true. However if you are small and you just want to lose a couple pounds, then you will probably tone muscle more than lose weight. Oh and by the way, muscle weighs more than fat so I recommend measuring your waist and thighs, more often than actually weighing yourself. Good luck

I'm not a bitch nor am I going to act like one. Every girl is different, some it hurts, some it doesn't, but if it does hurt the pain is small, kinda like a pinch, and then as time goes by it get way better, no pain. The guy won't leave you unless he is a big fat jerk, and in my experience guys don't leave, just make sure you are old enough and mature enough to have sex, personally I won't until marriage, thats just me, and its not only because religion but other things as well. Tampons don't hurt unless you put them in wrong, and even then that can be corrected by taking it out.
So in conclusion, sex usually doesn't hurt, guys don't leave, and tampons are perfectly fine to use, no pain, just be sure to put it in correctly.

My town was getting ready for another sort of celebration thing like fireworks night ,but it wasn’t fireworks night, and my friends (13 and 14 year olds) were in Cafe 10 and Abbie and Laura (friends) fancied Hayley’s little brother, who’s 9 years old and also called Jason, and they were swooning over him when he came in and I remember Abbie saying “He’s soo fit”. Then (you know how dreams just take you places without knowing how you got there) I was walking down the small road to Mereside Park and it was dark and there was the whole gang of lads that I had met (in real life) from my holiday at a caravan park the other side of the country were hanging around there. [On my holiday (ages ago) there were 3 of them (who lived at the caravan park) who kept stalking me and trying to get to know me but I wasn’t really bothered about getting to know them, I really don’t talk to my mum about boys and I would be really embarrassed about her finding out about them so I kept telling them not to go near my caravan and pretending I didn’t know them when my parents were around but they kept making it really obvious. I was interested in getting to know them and I started to fancy one of them (called Jason, 14, who actually lived in a city near me before moving…) but we didn’t get extremely close (kiss or anything) and I wish I was a bit more forward. One of the nights I saw that there were actually about 10 of them in their group (they all fancied me, I think they were desperate) but I didn’t have enough time to get to know them all. When I went home after my holiday, I didn’t have the chance to say goodbye, they rang me every night to see how I was and I admitted my feelings for Jason but we did nothing about it, he said if he ever came down he would come and see me. One of them was this annoying kid who was crazy about me and texted me all night every night and kept asking me out. After a while I just wasn’t bothered at all and I got over Jason and everyone and ignored their calls] They were just wandering around and the first one I saw was that annoying kid who fancies me. My mum was there preparing for this event thing and I was pretending I didn’t know them because my mum was there but they kept saying stuff like “Look its Rachel” or “Hi Rachel”

Dreams are our subconcious talking to us, and sometimes it can be premonitions sometimes it could be psychic, I'm not sure if I believe in all that supernatural stuff or not, I am on the borderline, but I was just throwing those out there for you to ponder on. Now if you believe you had some kind of connection, it could be psychic or it could just be you had really intense feelings towards Jason. I'm guessing your 14, thats a pretty early age to have such strong feeling, but its been known to happen.

You could have been dreaming of getting engaged, because you loved him, you thought, hey we should be together, or because it was some kind of premontion.

If the weather around you recently changes or the pollen count in your area is up then that is probably what it is. Personally for mer if I keep my fan on during the night I tend to have a sore throat in the morning. Gurggling warm salt water can help. And drinkning more water can help, but eventually it should go away, if not seek a doctor just to be safe. Hope you feel better.

OK. I have so been where you are, just way too early for any nomral person. I think your school counselor might be ok, but if you tell them the word suicide, they totally freak out. I'm a 13/f and my friend is a 13/m. And lately I've been thinking he wants more than friendship. For awhile I've noticed that he has been staring at my boobs. Not just once, but like between 15-25 times a day. We are in all the same classes and out the corner of my eye, I see him ALWAYS staring at me. Yeah food poisoning can make you ill for a long time, it messes with your whole digestive system. It cold be the flu too, or just a bad virus, never the less, I imagine the doctor will give him something and he will be fine, don't worry unless you have too, and right now you don't have too. I am 13 years old female... i will be 14 in about a month and a half and i am really unhappy about my body. i weigh 151 pounds and i am only 5'6!! i want to slim down my stomach, under my chin, legs, and my butt. I do play sports so i get exersize, but i am going to be graduating and i want to be able to fit into a smaller size dress. I dont even have hips so it makes my stomach look larger!

I suggest a good jog for an hour everyday or every other day, just walking can be good too. Swimming is also an excellent way to lose weight and tone up without being to tone like a guy.To lose weight under the chin you can do some facial excercises like just lifting your chin towards the sky and opening and closing you mouth while stickinh out your neck. Thats pretty much all the advie I can give, good luck.

I just started a new job. Well one day I took my break and then came back down to work. I saw another one of the girls that I work with and asked her a question about whether or not we have to tell the manager if we are on our break. Normally I work night shifts and my supervisor is gone by then, that is why we have to notify the manager.
Well anyways this girl came up to me afterwords and said that our supervisor saw us talking, and had asked the girl what we had been talking about!!
I was relieved I hadnt been gossiping, and the girl told our boss the truth that i had asked a question about our breaks. So I wasnt in trouble. But the fact that she even asked what we were talking about made me upset.

Sometimes people can just be nosey, msybe she just wanted to make sure that you weren't talking about her or about gossip in the work place, don't worry. However if the supervisor seems to keep an eye on you a lot ans ask people what you are doing all the time, them maybe you should talk to the manager about your supervisor discriminating towards you. Alright. So I've known this guy Dave for a wicked long time and for the past couple weeks have been really confusing. Let me explain. So we talked a lot and it always ended with a "I love you" and the other person would say it back. He wrote me cute little poems and everything and then I started to do it back and at the bottom of my aways it would always be like "I love you" So then he stopped all this in like the turn of one day and when I said "I love you" he didn't say it back but I noticed he always says I love You to everyone so then I started thinking this really wasn't serious. We did kiss and everything but I decided to ask him about it and he said I love you the same way you love me trust me but you don't want to get involved with me I'll hurt you. let me go lie down and think I'll call you later. And he left and then the whole weekend following that we didn't talk cause he was avioding me. So I cried obviously (i think he's the first person I've ever loved) and so he calls me 2 days ago and is like "I love you" and we started hitting it off again. But I don't know if anythings different and I don't wanna bring it up again but I really don't want to get my hopes up and get hurt again. What should I do? Wearing, knee length skirt and knee high boots mean you will be showing no skin at all, which I guess is your point but come on, guys like to see a littel skin, you know just some leg at least. Wear a small heel, I know you hate them but guys generally like girls in heels, heels give a girl a certain posture and appeal. If you wan the guy to notice you wear your black knee length skirt, I would recommend a pencil skirt, and a low black heel. Almost any blouse would work, I suggest maybe red.
