ears pierced?
heyy, my mom wont let me get my ears double pierced or the cartiledge at the top pierced.. I really want it done and I would be paying for it so I dont even know why she cares? How can I just convince her to let me do it.. its not like its even bad or anything like smoking pot

How about respecting your mom's wishes? The problem with kids nowadays is they think they actually have say what goes on before they turn eighteen. Sure it may suck, but that's life.

Best thing I ever did to get piercings was bribe my mother with my grades or chores. They love that stuff. I currently, at 20, have my nipples pierced, my ears double pierced, one cartilage, and two nose piercings. I got the doubles at 15, cartilage at 18, on my birthday, nose at 19ish when i went to college, and nipples at 20. For a while there I had my ears stretched to 2's. I took them out for mothers day and got my nipples pierced instead. She understands now.

I think the answer you already have are great, but I might know why your Mom doesn't want you to get them. If your Mom is christian then it might be that, some christians say it is wrong with all kinds of crazy backing, like " If you get this then you are bloodletting." or " Oh Jesus you are going to the devil." Pretty stupid I know but I have been there and stuff like that has been said.. Now I am not bashing christians because I am one, but sometimes its just like that with some people. Also it could just be that she is realizing that her "baby" girl is growing up and mothers tend not to like that a lot. As well as it could be she is just scared you are going to get it infected, and it hurt and lots of other mom things that mom worry about. Like some of the other people said just sit down and talk to her, don't yell be calm and ask her why she won't let you. Hey who said smoking pot was bad? Just kidding because I would so not smoke pot, not in a million years unless i neededa few less brain cells. Hope I helped and good luck with the ear piercing, it doesn't hurt much

Wow, I'd be so mad if my mother did that to me. I have like 10 piercings in my ear. But she doesn't care because that's what I'm mostly interested in. I was so close to getting my nose pierced last year and luckily didn't. Show her that you know a lot about ear piercings. Like what were to happen if you got an infection, or how much it exactly costs and where you can get it done at. Reassure her, it's just your ears, it's not like you're asking for much. Or maybe wait until atleast Xmas break, so you won't have to worry about like having so much pain that you'd have to be off of school or something. Tell her it won't lead to wanting to get your nose pierced or like your bellybutton. (:

Lol, yea, I'm trying to get my mom to let me get the middle of my ear pierced, so i know what your going through lol. Alright, so, sit your mom down, explain to her why you want to get it pierced, and that your paying for it, and you think its time that your old enough to get your ear pierced. Maybe,tell her she could go with you, to check out the place that your thinking of getting it pierced. Moms like to be included in that kind of stuff. Let me know how it goes. Hope I helped!
