Younggrandma's advice is good. You could also try getting her shower gel/perfume for Christmas or whatever she celebrates.

There are different types of staph, if she had the kind where her skin turned brown and kind of spread out from the initial area, then yeah the smell could be from that. Staph is a bacterial infection, and well it makes your skin rot basically, but it is easily taken care of with antibiotics. If she is already over the staph there could be left over smell, just suggest a really new soap you found, and maybe she will use it and presto, no more smell, you know just something along those lines. Good luck and no worry don't be afraid of the staph.

I doubt the staph infection is related. Step throat for example is a staph infection.

What you could do is get together with her and have a mini makeover day together.

While you are at it, mention deodorant, powder, a good soap, the importance of bathing...use boys like that fresh smell or something that will lend encouragement.

Also do make up etc. That way she doesn't feel picked on. You get to help her out without hurting her feelings. Hopefully she will learn something.

If that sneak attack doesn't work, then you will have to just say something. She will be hurt later when people make fun of her if you don't.

If you can afford it, have a new bar of nice smelling soap, maybe a deodorant that smells nice or even some perfume that you can give her if she shows shes interested and likes it.

Good luck on your project. Hope it helps and works out well for you. :)

tell her whatever perfume, etc she's using..your allergic to..and suggest a product she could use...and offer to get it for her because you don't want to sneeze on her or anything. or just tell her about a bodyspray and offer to SHARE?

buy her perfume, bodywash, and lotion for christmas with something else so its not obvious she smells. dont straight out tell her that is kind of rude.

Staph is Staphylococcuss obviously if you read that whole thing. You would understand that, that doesn't have anything to do with it. If you didn't want to hurt her feelings as bad as you might when and if you tell her trust me it'll be 2 times harder on you. She will most likely hear it from others if they are all talking behind her back and then she'll ask or yell and ask you why you didn't tell her. Just say something like "Jesse" look I don't want you getting hurt because your my really good friend so I'm just going to tell you something whether you get mad at me or not. You have an odor problem I'd suggest stronger deoderant or go to a doctor who can get you medicine for it(yes there is medicine out there). Hope I helped.
