I've been going out with my boyfriend for almost a year now and I love his family to death. Since he's away at college they invite me to visit them alot and I stop to see his mom at work whenever I go to the mall. I have a problem, though- I got his Christmas gift and everything, but should I get something for his family? His mom seems like the kind of person that would get something for me, but I would feel really bad if she did and I didn't get them anything, and I bet she would vice versa. He has an older brother, a younger brother, a sister, dog, and mom and dad. They're really nice to me, but I'm lost on the dating/present etiquette here. Should I get them something, and if so, what?
You could get them a present that will be for his whole family (so u dont have to buy 6 different presents) Like a big box of chocolates, popcorn, cookies, etc. But I would definately get them SOMETHING just incase they get YOU something, you don't want to look bad.

I have a really weirdo stupid dog, lol. She bumped my head and now i have a HUGE bruise. Do you guys know how to get rid of a bruise fast? My parents and my older sister (Who's moving home today, YAY!), are gonna laugh at me and I hate it when they do. I also really don't want to go to school with the stupid bruise. I have been going out with my boyfriend for 3 years and I live with him now. Well, he wants a kid really bad and I told him no because I'm almost 20 and we both work at MAC. And, MAC doesn't really pay us good. And obviously, you need money to have a kid. I'm on BC and have been for like 8 months and somehow I lost my pills. I'm organized, and I dont misplace things hardly ever and I think my boyfriend stole them. I'm getting more pills tomorrow but I just KNOW my boyfriend stole them! He hasint talked to me in two days because I accused him of stealing them. Why does he want a freaking kid so bad!? Back in August I missed the registration date to go back to school. (I should be a junior in high school.) I was pretty much just having a bad year and didn't care about going back so I've been out of school all this year. I was wondering if I could go back now or if I would have to wait until next year to go back. I could make up the work that I've missed instead of just waiting until next year and being a whole year behind.

Okay, I'm goin out w/ this guy we'll call hi "John" John is a very sweet guy who I used to be friends w/ up until a few days ago. He found out I had liked him all year and I also found this out about him so we decided to go out. I can tell he still really likes me b/c of what he says and how we're always around each other but I have 3 questions! 1) he's really shy. his ex said it takes him a few weeks but how can i make him feel more comfortable till then. 2) How can I get him to hold my hand or kiss me or anything! 3) How do we make it last over x-mas break. we never see each other when we're not in school!
Talk to him on the internet a lot, he might feel more comfortable that way. Then when he warms up a little you can talk to him on the phone a lot and make plans to hang out over winter break. And as for getting him to hold ur hand or kiss you, since hes shy, you might have to make the first move. Well ok, today both of my pointer fingers were really red at the tip and hurt really bad. I walk to school in the morning and I do wear gloves, but for some reason today my two pointer fingers were really red and warm. Any ideas of what it may be??
That happens when i touch cold stuff.. my fingers will get red and swell up. You might have this thing called Cold Induce Urticaria or something, idk i forgot what its called but its no big deal and theres nothing you can really do about it and it wont kill u or anything.

ok. There's a girl in my school named Shay. I don't hate anyone, but she's as close as it gets. I mean it. I can't stand her. she sits next to me in one of my classes, and i can't beilieve i've gone this long without yelling at her, much less punching her! I'm normally very calm about things, but she makes me so mad, i can't concentrate on ANYTHING. She always makes really embarassing comments about... i don't really want to say it. Today I finally told her she's a pain in the butt and it's amazing that she thinks she has friends. She cussed me out. then she made another embarrassing comment! I'm so sick of this. You shouldn't let another person's problems interfere with your own life. If you're not happy, then just break up with him! But make sure you let him know it is for the best for BOTH OF YOU because it wouldn't be fair for either one of you if you guys were going out when the feelings weren't mutual. Maybe you could even try to find another girl for him.

is there anybody whos in tae kwon do or martial arts that could tell me the order of belts.. i know its white orange yellow then green... and does white really count?
Yes i do tae kwon do......its awesome :-) hah anyway.. it goes white orange yellow camo green blue purple brown red (black reccomended) black. And white does count, it IS a belt, just not a color-belt. And you don't have to test or anything for white. You just get a white belt when you begin taekwondo, and then the first time you test is for your orange belt. If you need anymore help in taekwondo let me know! :-) hehe

You could wipe everything off your computer and then reinstall windows. (make sure you save all of your important stuff~pictures, documents, music, etc before you wipe everything off ur computer) And make sure you have your windows cd before you wipe out your computer.

I have this bump on my armpit and my mom says its a razor burn, and i looked it up & it says the bumps can stay for 6 months-1 year. What can I use to try and get rid of it?
Try using a soothing deoderent, like Dove. Also, sometimes you can get a rash from different types of deoderents, so that might be what caused the bump. Like, i get rashes from Secret and Lady Speed Stick, but not Dove or Ban or Adidas. (2 much info? sry lol) So try not shaving for a few days, and if it still doesnt go away or if it gets worse, try changing ur deoderent. Hope i helped!

I'm Jewish too. :-) And why would she get offended if you called it a "Holiday present?" Thats dumb. Just call it a Hanukkah present, there's nothing wrong with that. I mean, thats what it IS! And the last night of Hanukkah was Tuesday night (December 14) so you're a little bit late, but I'm sure she won't mind. A lot of my friends give me presents around christmas, because that's when they give all of their other friends presents, so im sure you friend is used to getting late Hanukkah presents. And as to what you should give her, just give her the same type of present as you should give one of your christian friends. You know, just like a cd or jewelry or a gift card or something. Jews are no different from christians when it comes to giving/recieving presents!! hope i helped!

Well, a few days ago, I found out from one of my friends that another friend of mine, Ricky, likes me. At first, I wasn't sure I could trust the friend that told me, T.J., because T.J. is weird like that. Then, my best friend Megan told me yesterday that Ricky has liked me for a long time.
My question is, is it okay to go ahead and date Ricky so soon after dumping my previous boyfriend?

Well here's my situation. My mother was seeing a man for awhile that seemed totally normal, well as time passed he began to become controlling and totally weirded out. He was suppose to be this guy living "the good life" with money ect. ect. Well things started to get weird whenever everytime we were suppose to visit his house the meetings would get "cancelled." After awhile he started to turn my mother against me. He convinced her that I was a hell raising child who needed to be locked up, and I needed help because I was "Ill in the head." All of this was far from the truth. Anyways, to make an extremely long story short, we found out he's not who he says he is, and he has a major criminal record, just got off parole for MURDER. He has an obsession over me (For God only knows what reason) and now the police are after him and he dissapeard before they got the oppurtunity to arrest them. This has brought so much strain on our family. My mom is constantly drinking, and I just can't look at her the same after the things she did to me because this psycho told her to. I was just wondering if anyone had any ideas as to what to do in this situation. I want things to be better in our house-hold after this, but I have no idea where to start to mend it back together. Sorry it's so long, thanks for the help.

First of all I would change all the locks on your house incase this guy has a key.. and also if you dont have one already, **get an alarm system!!** You might want to go to counseling with your family to relieve all of this stress and to get your mom to stop drinking. Make sure the police are keeping a good watch on you. Dont let this guy ruin your family.. your family should continue living normally and happily. GOOD LUCK!! i hope the police find that guy soon!!

i have LOVEHANDELS! i hate them they arent even that big but in a bathing suit or something they make me look soo nasty. and when i wear jeans u can see them alot 2...its grossin me out! i always have like extra flab on my back upper thighs like by my butt. im not fat or anything i just need to tone up...how can i do that? i dont eat healthy i eat ALOT actually....its hard for me to go on a diet i never stick to it!! and i get lazy when i workout...help...*im also in soccer at my school and we run EVERYDAY for 2 hrs..will that help me lose my extra fat?*
Hey sry but u gotta stick to a diet.. it will be hard at first, but i've heard that once u do something for 3 weeks, it becomes a habit. So try the diet for atleast 3 weeks and see if it becomes a habit for you. Also, once you haven't eaten junk food for a few weeks, you stop having cravings for it. So try that. And yes, running everyday for 2 hours will help you lose weight.. but also it will make you more hungry so you will want to eat more. But you have to be strong!! lol. You can eat..just dont eat fattening stuff! Hope i helped! Good luck!

Well okay, here's my situation... My parents work all the time and I usually need a ride... Well my friend opted for the position and I know I do at times get annoying and ask a lot of her parents to take me around and do errands because my own parents can't... So, I give her parents gifts and things like that to thank them for taking me around... And now my friend is really getting agitated about her having to drive me around all the time when her parents don't mind at all... So.. What should I do because I mean I'm always nice to her and her parents but she is just getting on me for asking her parents to take me around...
She might just be getting sick of seeing you all the time (I dont mean for that so sound rude lol). Just ignore her. It's her problem, she can deal with it herself. But MAYBE you COULD try not being so annoying?? If you think you talk too much, then just dont talk as much I guess. Sry I couldnt help you very much....goodluck!!
