generally, I look at her and say, "she's cute" or "she's pretty" or "she's a goddess" or "hey, that's my mom!" or "she's a girl" or "she's a MAN!"...
But the real issue is that's its all just a matter of opinion - and different people like different things. Such as, I might look at eyes, and facial shape, whereas other guys I know go straight for legs, breasts, or ass... No two people, being guys or girls, look at the same things the same way.
So, really, the answer is: you just look and judge for yourself...
...but keep in mind, for all the judging you do, someone else is judging you...

My boyfriend told me that, when you have sex your first time, there's no way to get pregnant.
I can't remember -exactly- how he explained it but it has to do with a certain thing, that cannot be penetrated by sperm, coating the male organ. And this -only- happens when a girl has sex the first time.
Is that true? Or is it equally possible to get pregnant when you have sex for the first time? (link)

nice guitar... I've got an Ibanez Ergodyne 5-string bass (ironic in that I've lusted after the SoundGear basses for years and still don't have one)... I've loved Ibanez guitars for years (I blame Satriani)...
Marshalls are nice, powerful, and versatile amps - that should definitely not be a limiting factor for you at all. If you're getting harmonics, when you say left-hand muting, I'm assuming that you're playing right handed here, so if there's a way to get an extra finger on your left hand to just lay limp on the strings, or angle your fingers a little to get more meat on the strings - that could help cut down on the chance of you ringing a harmonic. Muting a bit with the strumming hand resting partly on the bridge might help kill the ringing, too.
Definitely think that playing with the lower pickup is the way to go. I don't know how tight you have that pickup to the strings, but you might consider messing with its height - offhand I would guess that lowering it closer to the body might cut down on stray tones a bit (but I could also be really wrong - very guitar dependent).
I looked up some info on your effects board, since I have not used that one, and have not used a Digitech multi-effects board for probably at least 7 years or so... anyway... I'd mess around with its built in "Grunge" distortion mode and see what you can get playing with that. To keep the sound crisp, I'd try using as little delay/reverb/echo as possible - which should also help out your overtone issues.
I don't know what sort of cash you have to throw around, but you might consider trying an EQ pedal at some point - I have a bass EQ that I use for my guitars (not my basses), and it is able to sculpt the sound in strange ways - I can really cut the middle out, giving a strange, hollow sound. Just a thought - something to consider in the future.
Another thought might be trying a different gauge of strings - probably a lighter gauge? Eh, just tossing out more possibilities ;)
So, anyway, those, along with my other ramblings are my total combined thoughts up to this moment in time. ;) If I can think of anything else, I'll add an edit/addendum to this post.

Hey, I figured I'd go ahead and mention that I sent you a reply to your direct question to me. The details I asked for would really help in being able to give you a good answer.
One thing to think about is what you really want to sound like. To say "a good punk sound" doesn't say much, as I can name a few punk bands that sound nothing alike. Do you want the shallow, bright, tinny sound? If so, a guitar with bright pickups, probably set to the pickup closest to the bridge is desired... a light-weight guitar will help too... something like a Les Paul is too heavy and gives too much resonance to sound that bright, whereas a Fender, made with lighter woods and thinner body, can give a bright sound.
The amp also really matters. The speaker size is a big factor, as are the type of electronics, cabinet material, etc. Tube amp vs. solid state will help determine your settings, too.
Off hand, I'd think that cutting the bass way down, the High way up, and the Mid at about 5 would be a place to start and see if it sounds at all close to what you're aiming for. Gain/volume settings are all dependent on how you're getting your distortion - pedal vs. amp driven - and again, it all goes back to the guitar you're playing.

Well, to better answer you, can you give me a few more details?
What guitar? What amp? What pedal?
I have struggled with distortion/overdrive/fuzz pedals for years, never quite finding the "right" sound for me. So, like a moron, I have an overdrive pedal (cheap-ass ibanez plastic power-lead), a distortion pedal (small Danelectro Grilled Cheese), a fuzz pedal (nice Ibanez metal-case Classic Fuzz pedal), and a big-ass distortion pedal (the Danelectro Daddy-O - great, versatile pedal). I generally go between the fuzz and the daddy-o depending on the sound. For a really crisp one, a true distortion or overdrive are going to be what you're looking for.
Oh, also, if you could let me know what brand/gauge of strings you're playing, that will also help.

im 15/F and lately ive been like peeing alot and not being able to go to bed AT ALL!! i dont know if its cus i drink before i go to bed or what but i cant sleep and i have to pee like every 30 minutes, me and my boyfriend have alot of sex and im on birth control and have been for a year or so but i got my period last week another signidicant thing is ive gained like 20 lbs but i have been eating more which is another sign of pregnancy so all im hopin is im not so if anyone has been pregnanyt or if they know what it could be then please help me im freakin out and i have no one to talk too.. first off, go see a doctor - you could have a bladder infection causing your increased urination. And if you're not able to handle pregnancy, why are you having sex in the first place? Birth control is NOT a guarantee that you won't get pregnant... in fact, most data shows it is only about 97% effective. If you just had your period, you are likely not pregnant, though, and the weight gain is not an instantaneous thing - but 20 pounds is rather significant, which makes me think you have some other illness causing it. Go see a doctor.

okay..for the past couple of days ive started eating two meals a day and excercising..ALOT i feel soo guilty eating..im 5'2 and before i started this stuff i weighed 92 pounds ive got a lot of advice a lot to like not become anorexic or whatever no matter what but i dont no i feel so guilty about food.i need advice!! In all honesty, it sounds like you need professional help regarding this. You are small, and weigh very little. You could easily weigh more, and still be very petite. Don't ruin your life fretting over your weight - anorexia can kill you, or at least destroy your body's organs. Talk to a doctor, talk to a councellor, talk to your parents - but no matter what, get some help. Because in all honesty, you probalby already ARE anorexic.

im told im very atheletic, that i should do track, basketball, and other sports, but i never seem to be able to stick with it, i have astmah and it always seems to effect it and i also havea bad knee. should i still try out for the sports? or should i just stick to having fun with friends. i mean i love sports and i seem good at. I say go for it. You have nothing to lose by trying out. The only thing you wouldn't have is not knowing if you could have made it. Don't think of athsma and your knee as something to hold you back - thing of them as obstacles to overcome. Use them to motivate you, not bring you down. I bet with a good trainer / physical therapist, and a knowledgeable coach, your knee issues can easily be overcome. And athsma is hopefully something you'll outgrow over time, if not, it is usually not something that ends too many athletic careers. More important than all of that is: If you think you'd have fun on a team, then YES you should try out - do what you love to do! Have fun!

Well, that's vague... in what ways is she over protective? Does she try to shelter you? Baby you? Or is she just more strict than you'd like her to be? How strict is she in comparison to others?
Generally speaking, to deal with over-protective parents is a matter of earning their trust through your actions, behaviour, and decisions. They need to feel safe that you're going to do smart things. Now, it is possible that a parent just gets paranoid, especially when reading too much into the news and social discussions, and they go overboard. In such a case, have you tried to just sit down and have a heart-to-heart talk with her, where you try to be as mature and level-headed as possible to discuss what you feel is an issue? Because it is likely that your mother doesn't see things quite the way you do.

Though whitestrips are higher priced than some other products, I know for a fact that they work, and work very well.
Most of the toothpastes that are whitening are not all that hot. Most of them either contain a small amount of abrasive or some mild whitening agent, but nothing as good as the peroxides found in the strips and gels you can get.
I would recomment a strip, as they are almost always better than the gel formulations. Most of the gels wash off your teeth almost instantly, which leads to very little whitening. The strips keep the peroxide on your teeth in a thicker gel matrix which allows for more efficient whitening action. There are some generic strips out there now, that even though they look really, really stupid, they work rather well. There are also lots of coupons for Crest - check the Sunday paper...

my best friends parents got devorced about a year ago, and ever since then he has gone into a distructive pattern, he cut himself, smoked pot, and drank, he did all of this to try to dampen the pain. is there anything i can do to get him to stop those and actually help him? (link)

Are either of his parents aware of what he's doing to himself? This is not a situation you should try to fix - all you can do is hope to be a catalyst to bring about some change - either talk to his one or both of his parents, or some other adult authority figure. He needs help, likely in the form of some therapy/counselling.

the legal rammifications of such an action could be very bad for the both of you, unless he really likes the thought of prison. Even if you consent, he can be put away - not for statutory rape as you are 16 and likely beyond the age of consent, but because you are a minor and he's not (over 18), thus, he could be nailed for "Corruption of a Minor".
And, well, you're only 16... you've got a lot of time ahead of you in life - is this something you should really be doing now?
