Corn has a protective barrier around it, from what i've heard, thats basically indigestible, so it comes out the same way it went in....Try creamed corn, instead if you are REALLY bothered! *lol*
Much love,

MFS answered Tuesday August 3 2004, 12:25 am:
actually, your body extracts the edible portion, but then the cellulose gets hydrated and swells in your colon, so it looks like whole corn when you defecate...

...don't ask why I know this...

I can't believe I'm about to give a SERIOUS answer to this question. The fact is that when you eat corn,it's so small that even if you chew most of it,there's still some that you obviously didn't chew. Since it's small,we don't really notice the difference. So when you crap, the parts you didn't chow come on out of your bowels. If we could swallow beef whole, the beef would come out whole too.

The natural casing around the corn is the only part that is not nutritional to your body, so you basically just get rid of it.
