**** I've been gone quite a long time. However I'm still breathing though it's touch and go. Don't expect me to answer or check in much. ****Welcome to the junkdrawer that is my brain! I know something about many things, and I if I don't know it, I admit that I don't know. No the set up is a bit confusing at first. Paypal verifies your checking account by sending two deposits of a few cents. The only person that should have access to your checking account is you. So if you can tell them the exact amount of the deposits, then they know you are authorized to recieve and spend money for that checking account. It is done for security reasons and to make sure the account has been set up correctly. You can use paypal to pay someone who has either a paypal account or a known email address or to get money from other account memebers. Hope that's what you wanted to know.
What ways can you tell if a guy friend wants to be MORE than friends?
Well for me, he would do little things to touch me more, but cover it up like it was just teasing. I just got the strangest feeling that he was watching me and the way he looked at me sometimes was like he wanted to say something but couldn't. What really clinched it was the way we talked on the ohine. We always talked alot, but on the phone he would say such romantic things. I said once, "Are you coming on to me? Have I missed something?" He brought me his Star Wars VHS collection and told me it was for safe keeping cuz his little girl kept getting into his room. (He always kept this on a high shelf and there were lots more breakable things in his room.) He'd always deny that he was interested in becoming more than my friend. Although we got married the next year.

They don't hate you. You are 13, your hormones are going haywire and they have no idea how to deal with you. So, they yell. This is a very very common thing, but it doesn't mean they hate you. Just that all of you are going through a very difficult period in the family relationship. It happens, just hang in there and try to find some patience. It WILL get better. Would you be someone's friend still even though that person always went back on her word on things she say? Becuase I'm having that problem with my friend named J-lo, and I don't really want to be friends with J-lo anymore. because when I stop talking to her beacuse she goes back on her word with things, she always tries to talk to me agian and be my friend again then, tell every one who's her friend that i'm not her friend then everybody ends up asking me all these damn questions why I'm not J-lo's. Take the monkey to the vet. It could get stuck somewhere in the system and kill your pet, or the vet may say a good laxitive will solve the problem. I would take the ring back to the store for a replacement though. Uck!

My name is Jack and I'm 22. Sorry if this is long but I really need the help. I recently found out that I have a 15 year old half sister named sarah. I've been searching for her for a long time and I finally found her. Well when I first saw her I noticed that she had scars on her arms that I think were from cutting herself. The more I talked to her the more I noticed something was wrong. At first she wasn't saying much I figured that was normal I mean she had never met me before and she had just found out that I was her half brother. I've been seeing her everyday for about 2 weeks now and she still seems really nervous like she's almost afriad to get to know me. I've also been trying to meet my father but evertime I go to see him she comes to the door and says he's not home even though his car is there. I asked to meet her mom and she said that she wasn't home either. This goes everynight. Well this afternoon I stopped by without calling first so sarah didn't know I was coming I wanted to surprise her. I heard yelling so I tried to see what was going on but the door was locked. I stood there for 5 minutes before my sarah came to the door. She looked like she was limping and seemed to be in pain. She said that she was going to a friends house so she couldn't go with me today. I asked about her parents again and again they weren't home. Well after she left I went in the house I saw that my father was drunk and her mother was too. I think they could be abusing but I just don't understand why she would hide it. I'm really worried about her. She's a really nice kid and I don't know what to do. I'm beginning to form a relationship with my sister and I don't want to ruin that. Getting to know my father isn't that important to me right now because I've found something better. What should I do to make sure that suspicions are correct? and don't say talk to her because she won't tell me. Also if she is being abused would it be a good idea to turn her parents in even if she doesn't want me to? I'm thinking about asking her to come live with me but I don't know much about 15 year old girls. Would having her move in with me be a good idear or are there other options that will be better for her?

Go with your heart on this one. You little sister is in a bad situtation and needs out. I don't think she could be anywhere better than with you. You will have a battle on your hands, but I would personally fight to get custody of her. You care about her, Jack. Regardless of how little you know about raising a 15 year old girl, I don't think you'd ever hurt her. You are a far better choice than where she is now. Fight for her. She needs you. Here's a clue though, all girls that age are angry about something. Living with her will not be easy, but you will at least try to reach her and find her any help she needs. Call in DHR, file custody papers. See if there are any other relatives that are willing to stand with you. I wish you both well, Jack!
I was over at my friends house and this dude started calling this girl. She didn't want to talk to him cause he was a crazy stalker. He called 16 times before my friend picked it up and said stop calling. This kid drives from the next county to my friends house to talk to this girl. The girl goes and hides while we try to cool the guy down. This kid goes all around my friends house looking for the girl and finds her in the bushes. He cusses her out and yells. All i did was make the girl leave and hold him off long enough to give them a head start. I then call the girl and her friend to tell them to call the cops if he follows them. Should I have done more.
The stupid chit needs to get a protective order against the guy. THen if this crap happens again you can call the cops and have his sorry ass arrested. All he would have gotten had you called then was a warning from the house since he had not hurt anyone. You did fine, in what I know was a scarry situation. Tell the stupid girl to get a restraining order so her friends will be better able to help her in the future.
my dog is a 7 month old schnauzer, and he has been throwing up! he also has really bad hip problems. my dad keeps saying he will die really early. i am crying just typing this up. i dont want my puppie to die! does anyone have any helpful tips on how to cure throwing up? my mom said she gave him peptobismol... but he just threw up in my room so i dont know what to do! please help me fast!

You must get your puppy to the vet. It sounds like he is having problems that only a vet can fix. Your mom did fine giving him pepto, that won't hurt him, but your puppy will dehydrate and die if you can't get the vomitting to stop. Tell your parents that part of responcible pet ownership is to take the pet to the doctor when it's sick. Also that they can be report to ASPCA for neglecting a pet in clear distress. By the way, just because his hip is hurting does not mean that he'll die early. However tell your dad to check and see if he got a health guarenty that states the dog will be free of HIP DISPLAYSIA. This is a common problem inherited by some breeds of pure bred dogs. (Usually the large breeds.) He may be able to get the breeder of your pup to help pay for the vet bills. I'm sorry your puppy is so ill. I hope he gets better.

No. It means during that time there will be a greater CHANCE that you will become pregnant. I'd say go at it like rabbits while taking fertility meds. If you do it everyday of the month, you'll hit the right period sometime.
I have horrible handwriting.It is realy hard to read it.Once I got sent to the principal just because of my handwriting.My teacher said I should go to a doctor.I went for a dance class and you had to bend your thumb and keep your other fingers flat.I ended up bending all my fingers.I was the only one who could not do that.My mother will not take me to a doctor,she says we'll get laughed out of his clinic.Some times even I can't read my hand writing.I am 13/f.

Well, you are what's called double jointed in your fingers. I don't know how that could hurt your handwriting. Have you ever tried to write with your LEFT hand? Sometimes when you are young and first learning to write the teacher MAKES you write with the right hand, because MOST people are right handed. But you already know you are different. Being double jointed is rare too. Try with your left and see what happens. Also, get some Palmer Method Cursive books and practice. I hope you are a lefty. Is it ok to still think you pretty even though, some people think you ugly, or if they call you ugly then you should go ahead and say your ugly. I'm having that kind of problem. My family and friends tell me things like, "You have great legs and gorgeous hair! Your eyes are like molten gold when you get angry." They don't just say, you are pretty and don't you forget it. They specify what is attractive about me. They know I'm not a pretty girl, and they don't lie about it. They know I'm too smart to buy it. The next thing is that people bother to tell you you are ugly. That is jelousy. Simple jelousy. Finally, you are unsure even with all the love and confidence your family and friends offer you. You care what people think, because you want them to like you. That you actually seem to listen to what the assholes are saying and not the people who really matter in your life is unfortunate. No, you don't have to be pretty. The guys act like that because they want to impress their peers. It has nothing to do with a real relationship. Must guys are too shallow to be looking seriously for a compatible girl until about the second or third year in college. Unitl then it's mostly a bootie thing and impressing other guys. That's why it's so hard for a great girl with not so great looks to get a guy in jr and high school. The guys will lay you in a heartbeat, but they won't concider you anything but a knotch on the bedpost. Even if the guy does really like you as a person, he'll never admit it because you don't suit his FRIENDs' idea of a girlfriend. This is called immaturity. Just say Hi everytime you see him. This will train him to say hi back eventually. Soon he will actually say hi to you first when he sees you because he will be expecting you to say hi to him. I know this answer must sound smart assed, but from your question you wanted him to say hello to you on a regular basis. This will work. It does take patience and friendliness. Well, first that he is upset you told someone, makes me think he has a girlfriend or is having sex with someone and doesn't want them to know about you. That he is saying you do things that make him not want to be around you is another huge clue. This boy just wants sex. At your age your bodies are changing daily. That you've known each other for so long and he's just now gotten sexually interested in you is because of two things. One he's finally gone through puberty. Two he actually looked at you as you are now, and not as you have been since he first met you. Thinking about cars can give a boy his age a hard-on for God's Sake. That he wants you should be completely ignored as part of the relationship for that reason if for no other. His reactions are nothing but hormones at this age. He may just like you as a friend and is uncomfortable and afraid to make you think he means more than he does with his usual flirting. i have a really bad blister on my foot/back ankle from my work shoes and i dont have money to get new ones, is there something i can put on my ankle to make the blister better, i have a bandaid on it but it still hurts. also, the place it gave me a blisterright above my heel were the top, back of the shoe usually rubs. is there anything i can put there to keep from getting the blisters because i have to wear short socks and i walk all day so a lot of time they fall or i just dont have time to make sure my sock is over the area....is there anything i can do? I know is a weird question but i walk all day at work and these are very bad blisters!!

You can buy a material called moleskin and cut a patch to cover the area that rubs your foot wrong. You can find it in the health and bueaty aid section of Wal-Mart. Just ask someone to help you look for it. I haven't bought the stuff in along time, so I can't tell you what the packaging will look like. The material is soft and thin enough to both relieve the problem and not change the overall fit of you shoes.
