I'm 29 and I've been dating a 27 yo girl for about 8 months now and I thought things were going great. However, recently she planned her holiday season (thanksgiving and christmas) without even asking me what I was doing. Her rationale was that couples only plan things together when they are engaged or married. She tells me she loves me and doesn't understand why I was surprised that she made all her plans (which exclude me) without even talking to me about what she wanted to do. I have no intention of trying to change her plans. I just thought it was common courtesy to discuss it first and hopefully find a way to spend the holidays together. Your thoughts?

Well i see what you mean bout like christmas (i think thanksgiving is pointless) but like if she planned it with her family then maybe it was their dicision too. Just ask politely if you guys would be able to spend sumtime together before or after christmas (or thanksgiving) bc alot of times those are just family holidays you kno? well that*s all i got, sry if i wasn*t much of a help!! xoxo, chelsea

I know not to trust anyone on the internet. But what are ways to find out he is a normal, nice guy? I'm not giving out any information, i'm not that stupid. But how can I get proof from him?

Well sadly you can*t trust ppl nemore. He could say he wus 16 and turn out to be like 40 year old convict. They can give you fake pix and even try talking younger on the fone. After you*ve talked to him for a couple months suggest meeting him at the movies or a restaurant with one of your friends and one of him. A lot of times if they don*t just talk bout meeting and they mention their friends and stuff they aren*t older but you can*t always be sure! just make sure if your gonna meet him it*s in a public place with one or more of your friends!! hope i helped!! xoxo, chelsea

i rate really high i used to go out with this guy but he broke up with me cause i am going to another skool. i new him since i was 1 and i love him so much. he was the only bf that i actually felt comfortable with. i cant ask my mom if i can go to his house. i am only 13 and want to no how to get him back plz help!!

Just tell him exactly how you feel. Make sure he knows that even if you go to diff. skools there*s still a chance it*ll work, and you*ll try to see hi as much as possible (movies, mall, etc) maybe say you wanna try it for a couple weeks when skool starts and if it doesn*t work then brake it off. hope i helped!! xoxo, chelsea

I have long straight hair and I part it on the side and I want to get sweeping bangs. I want them short enough to be able to leave them out when I put the rest of my hair up.. but I don't want them to get in my eyes and be annoying. So how long should they be?

you can buy this stuff it comes in a bottle that looks like nail polish and you put it on every morning and it tastes DISGUSTING so when you go to bite your nails your like EW so you stop. this may get kinda long...well i have this boyfriend and weve been going out for about 2 months now, ive seen him mabe once in this time period. he always is with his friends and has time for them but never asks me what im doing or if i ever wanna do something. i can tell he likes me i mean he calls me everynight and if he cant call me, like if he gets in trouble or something, he will tell one of his friends to call me and tell me he cant call...i know this sounds bad and all but i had one of my friends that is a guy call him and casually ask him if he was cheating on me cause i figure mabe hes sick of me and he says that he hasnt been...so i dont know what to do, i really love him and i never stop thinking about him so its not so easy to say, just dump him, thats the advice ive been getting from all my friends...i know i should talk to him about it but im to shy to say it on the fone...i would really appreciate anyyy advice anyone can give me i rate 5's!!! thanksss

i understand where your coming from but this is my HONEST opinion. Well i*m sure he really likes you and you really like him but i think that you should maybe ask to take a break and it really shouldn*t be that hard to get over him because you won*t see him obviously. I know your not going to want to but (i learned this in church) a relationship is made up of maaany diff. parts, one is communication which you obviously have, but then there*s intimacy (not sex but you know just like cuddling) and well i can*t member the other things but to me it seems all your relationship is is communication and it*s not a healthy relationship if that*s all you have. Over the summer I really splurged on sugars and sweets. Im average weight but I can see my summer splurging is coming back in my stomach and my thighs. I'm goin to stop drinking soda and eating sugars and hopefully find time to exercise. But I always think "Oh this wont hurt" or "Ill start tomorow" What can I do to remind myself to stay away from soda's and sugars and excersise everyday ? I'll rate high!!

yeah i deff. have that prob. myself. OK i suggest putting a reminder on your mirror and take a pic of yourself in the beginning and looking @ it after you*ve lost a lb. or 2 will make you feel more motivated (i think) and about the foods, put them sumwhere you can*t see them. Like in a diff. cabnit, because if it*s out and easy to get then you*ll want it more. Also check out a health foods store (i know of wild oats and whole foods) EVERYTHING they have there is healthy and they literally have every food a normal grocery store does just without the bad stuff and it tastes JUST as good!! ok im growing out my hair and i want it to flip out like will it do it on its own or what do i need to do? please help me in a TIME to look hot.

well it depends on your hair type, if it*s too straight it prolly won*t and if it*s too curly it prolly won*t. When it*s wet maybe take your fingers and wrap the hair around it like towards your head (otherwise it*ll go under) if that doesn*t work try blow drying it while taking a brush to flip it out OR ever get a straightner just to put on the ends to flip out haha. ok so my boyfriends best friend died in a fire and hes beside himself plus im starting highschool and we dont live near each other so he keeps telling me he needs me the most now and he cant have me he thinks im unhappy with him and im not im extremely happy when hes sober truth of the matter is tho he tried to drink himself to death if it hadnt been for my friend hed be dead by now hes just so unhappy and im unhappy knowing i cant do anything to fix it but what worries me is that he doesnt care that im so unhappy now theres nothing hell let me do about the situation he promised me he wouldnt try to kill himself but hes still drinking weve broken up or whatever but i miss hearing from him " i love you" and i miss saying it yesterday i was talking to him and he just sayd i gotta go bye and it hurt me so bad not seeing the i love you more than anything at the end im trying to be there for him but hes not letting me its like hes trying to shut me out i dont know what i can do i love him to much to just let him go and be in this depression i want to help but he wont let me what can i do??? -broken hearted

aww sweetheart i*m so sorry. Well he*s not doing this to hurt you which I hope you know, but when he lost his best friend his method of coping i guess was just shutting everyone else in the world out.. he needs to know that alcohal doesn*t cure the pain it just numbs it (yeah i got that from 8 crazy nites.. good advice tho) anyway he needs to go to counseling because he*s grieving in a very unhealthy way. You also need to go for depression. I was very depressed about 2 years ago? and i went to counseling for a summer and i*m soooo much better. I truly believe everything happens for a reason and once you guys both go get help i feel like your relatonship can start a get and become stronger from this situation!! I hope everything goes well for you and once again i*m very sorry!! good luck sweety!!

Well "love" i don*t think can be defined really. I think that when you*ve found love you*ll know it. I*m one who easily falls inlove (which is actually not very good) but when I fall inlove (yeah this is gonna sound corny too haha) like when i see them sign on i get all antsy and gitty. When i think about them i smile like really big, and when i*m near them i feel safe and after they*ve left mi heart is dancing.. haha aww i wish i had a lover. Anyway that*s what happends to me, guess you hafta decide how it happens to you!!

ok well #1 I have a curlmaster ceramics and it works wonders. I have the like 1 1/2 inch and it was about $40? You can get it @ sally*s beauty supply. AND another one i recommend are chi*s but their atleast $100 altho they work really good!!

#2 you can either order proactiv by mail with one of those lil pamplets that are always in magazines or www.proactiv.com I*m not exactly sure how much it is but i know it*s around $50.
