ok so i was hanging out with some friends (girls).. and some of our guy friends were outside, so we went out there to meet them. we had just come in from the pool and we had our bathing suits on, with like towels around our bottoms. and this one guy said to me "is that a new bra- i mean bikini?"
is that an insult? or like what was he trying to say?..

My bf4l, Kaitlenn was a lesbian for quite sometime, she told me to tell everyone, cause she wanted everyone to know. Then all the sudden she decided she was straight again and she got into beer and stuff and had sex with some pothead that she knows from another school. Well, I told people, cause it sounded to me like a scheme to prove she was straight again. Now shes mucho pissed at me and is "plotting revenge" How do I make sure I don't go down, and get her to realize I'm truly sorry.

They all want to be different, and they want to "find themselves" so they turn emo, or lesbian or bi just to get attention and then they think "oh I dont like this anymore I'll just change back"
Chances are she wasnt really lesbian, she was just trying to find out who she really is, and she wanted attention.
If she wants to turn into a slut and have sex with whoever she wants, then so be it.
And when she says shes going to plot revenge, she probably just wants to sound scary and intimidating..Dont worry about it.

Hi , can anyone help!!!!!! I am 17 years old. I have a problem in that I would like to become a Goth/Gothic/ but I am also thinking about going to college /wanting a career working with horses. But how is this possible? Can Goths get jobs working with horses? Can i work with horses and still be a Goth realistically?? PLEASE HELP!!!! it's just I desperately want to do both! It's just I have NEVER EVER in my life SEEN ANYONE who is a Goth/gothic who works in a stable yard. Also the hours working with horses are long....so how can i be a Goth in my spare time ..if I don't have much spare time? But I really want to do both...WHAT CAN I DO?? help!!!! Also I was also considering a career as an actress. I would quite like to go to college do study 'performing Arts' but again:.....can I be a Goth AND an actress...because I don't think I have EVER seen a Goth actress.Do you know of any famous actors/actresses who are also Goths/gothic/follow the gothic lifestyle??? What can I do?? I haven't decided whether I want to work with horses or go into performing Arts yet.....but whatever I do I would also like to become a Goth/gothic. I dont know how people will react to you looking a certain way one day, and then completely different another day, I'm not gonna lie to you..

I dont understand how she is a poser. Her first album was kind of lame but she was like 17 when she made it.
Complicated and sk8er boi were really popular with teenagers.
Now she grew up, and started to write about things she cares about.
I say, if you have the power to express something you feel strongly about in the form of a song: DO IT.
Also, she got married. Shes smart for not exploiting her relationship to the public because that just ruins the whole relationship. It will probably last if the public doesnt know every detail about it.
I'm not a HUGE fan of hers, but I like some songs and I respect her for writing about the things she cares about, and not having someone write the songs FOR her and just give them to her so she can sing them.

Hi, please can you help. My Grandma died about 4+ years back and I am finding it difficult to know how I could should cope with this.This is my problem:
I have two cousins who live in Germany(my only cousins), oand they used to fly over to England each
year and stay at my Grandma's house for a few weeks during the holidays. I used to see them
then. Grandma was the one thing connecting us. However since Grandma's died I don't
know what to do about them. I haven't been in contact with them properly since my
Grandma died.they can't stay over here in England anymore because my mum doesn't
like them...so won't let them stay over with us. they have only over to England once for
two days since Grandma died(they had to stay in a local B&B).
What should i do about them? what is the right thing to do? what is expected of me and
what would Grandma have wanted? should i keep in touch? if so then how? also i am
worried because I was having problems coping at shool (I refused to go on-and-off for my
first two years in high school as i didn't want to move on after the death of Grandma and
also could not deal with the death of someone else of whom i was close to and sort of lost
control of my life a bit...then i ended up refusing to go to school altogether at the end of
my second year and ended up with 5 measly hours of home tuition per week forthe last
three years which should have been spent in school. I them failed all my GCSEs apart
from getting a D/C in English. I know i made a terrible mistake and i can't believe what I've
done but at the time I wasn't thinking logically about what i was doing as i was in a state
of severe depression.)and if i contact my cousins again they're going to ask about what i'm
studying and I'll have to explain why I'm on a low level college course.I feel like i can't
contact them because how on earth can i explain how I failed all my GCSEs and wouldn't
go to school. They're going to think I'm a bad person. and i cannot conceal it from them as
they are really well educated and will notice the huge gaps in my knowledge just by
talking to me. What should i do about this? I feel so ashamed of refusing to go to school. And KNOW that they will think VERY badly of me once they've found out what I did.I son't think I can bear to face them ever again. PLEASE PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!

Just explain to them that your school kinda went downhill after your grandma died because you took it really hard, and you were depressed and you needed to deal with things so your schooling suffered a bit.
If they think you are a bad person because of that, so be it. You arent a bad person though. People deal with death in different ways, and this way is pretty common.
If you really dont like it, you can always upgrade cant you? I dont know the whole schooling thing for England but here in Canada, we can go back and upgrade so we can get into a higher up college.
Just stick with your education, you cant go anywhere in life without an education anymore. So unless you want to wash floors for the rest of your life, keep up with your education and dont give up :)
As for the staying in touch thing-- its probably hard that your grandma isnt here anymore to keep you connected, but you can always phone or email them. Maybe they can fly out and stay at a different relatives place? Or maybe you can save up and fly out there and see them?

here is my problem. I am the kind of girl everyone says is really pretty but never gets a boyfriend or one that is high enough to my standards that i would day. I can get the ugly guys but comeon who wants that.
Anyways here is my situation. I met this kid at work and i found out he went to school with me. He is a veryyy atractive kid and seems like a truely nice guy.
He seems like the guy i have always wanted to date until i found out today he is a pot smoker.
My question is does that make him worth dating? I don't know much about him and by the looks of his myspace it looks like he does not smoke very often. I am totally anti smoking and anti drugs and out of all of my friends i seem to be the most outragous when it comes to that topic (i have drank only a small handful of times). So pretty much i am a good girl.
As long as he doesn't smoke around me you know i don't care but is her serously like boyfriend material? like i don't want to get my heartbroken over a guy who was never going to be comitted or whatever.
I am very confused on what to think and how to deal with this because i believe he likes me and i sorta like him too.
I personally would still date him. Hes probably still a good guy even though he smokes weed. You didnt say how old you were, but I'm assuming you are 14 or 15? Things will be changing soon, and you most likely will find that more and more people will drink, smoke pot and cigarettes more when they get older. People love to expieriment with things. They are still good people even though they dont have the best habits.
It basically comes down to, if you like him, and can see yourself with him, then try it out and date him. If the weed thing gets in the way of the relationship you can always break up with him.

14/f. i'm going into 9th grade, which at my school is still in middle school. now i have two questions:
1)is it easier to buy 1 large 3" binder for all five of my academic classes, or two colored 1.5" binders (one for my three morning classes and one for my two afternoon classes). i just need a first hand experience here. will two binders get too confusing?
2) i want to decorate the front of my binder(s). i'm going to get the type of binders that have that clear pocket on the front of the binder that you can slide a piece of paper into. i want to cut out things from magazines but i don't know what to cut out things that i won't like half way through the year. i thought of cutting out store names and things but i need more!
any input will help me A LOT!
I would definitly NOT cram all 5 acedemic classes into one binder. It will get too cluttered and it will be hard to fit everything in.
I would buy a 2" binder for every acedemic class.
You MIGHT get away with putting 2 subjects in one binder, but even that might get a bit cluttered.
Grade 9 is different then 7 and 8. Well at least I thought it did. I dont know where you are from but we had to take Provincial Achievement Tests at the end of the year, so if i was you, i would try to make the clutter down by separating all the classes.
Also, divide your binders up. Make one section for notes, one section for work, and one section for quizzes and tests. It makes it way easier when you go to study, because teachers often use the same test questions twice so keep all of your tests with you.

okay so see i have this boyfriend and he lives like 3 blocks away and i just met him 3 months ago and we've been going out for over a month. Guys are allowed to have friends that are girls. Don't over react too much. If it bothers you lots, just sit down and talk to him about it, and get some info on the girls that he hangs out with.
You could always try to tag along when he hangs out with them, and you can see how he acts around them, and how they act around him.

There's this guy from my clique who likes to irritate me. But anyway, he makes fun of everyone. I'm rather close to him as in like I can talk to him. Both of us belong to the same clique and I guess i can talk to him pretty well as compared to the rest in my clique.
Recently, he kept criticising bout me. Whenever he knows a guy is interested in me, he'd be like "What?! He has really bad taste". There's this other guy who was interested in me and he happens to know that guy as well. So he was telling me "Ya, anyway, he has really bad taste. His favourite girls from the FHM magazine are all not nice."
And he likes to put me down, saying for eg "everyone in our class is quite pretty.. except for ___(my name)"
And when i just randomly told him that someone said i look like one of the girls from a pop group,(the girl is a tomboy) he'd say "ya , people say that you look like the ugly lesbian part of her right?"

hi, i bought a hamster, and was planning on releasing it in school and causing havoc, as immature as it sounds, it does sound funny! well i bought one and now i dont want to release it. my parents would DEFINITELY say no! i have one cockatiel, but they wil definitely, definitely say no! what do i do??

Well the last time I checked, you dont run pranking plans by your parents to see if you are allowed to do it.
If you release a hamster in school, nothing will happen. Well it might run into some dark corner, or some kid will get their hands on it and maul it to death or something.
Hamsters dont cause much havoc..they are a rodent..lots of schools have mice, so I'm assuming teachers will just put some mousetraps in the school and take care of it that way.
My friend claire and i have been best friends with susan all through 6th & 7th grade, then she moved in the middle of 7th grade and we wrote letters back & forth to each other. but suddenly about 6 monthes ago she stopped writing to us. we were wondering why so cliare went to susans hosue with anotehr friends and we found out she is on weed. cliare doesn't want to do anything about it but i feel like i should do soemthing. susan is VERY poor and doesnt have alot of money. idk what to do, should i call the police? what would happen? and would i have to get involved? Well, people expeiriment with weed all the time. Especially at your age. It will just get worse as you get older. I bet by the time you are 16 or 17, most of your friends will or at least try smoking it.
If it really bothers you, I would just sit her down and talk to her. Sometimes things like drugs and alcohol split friends apart. Lifes like that, sorry to say. I wouldnt call the police.
Talk to her, ask her why she does it, and how she can afford it. If that doesnt work, well then either remain her friend, or dont.
thats the way highschool is. theres always drugs, alcohol, sex and lots and lots of drama..
and it will ruin a few friendships.
Hey my name is Rachel and iam a 17 year old girl and whenever I go over to my granny's on the weekends she goes throgh my overnight bags and goes through my dresser drawers and takes out whatever she thinks isn't mine for some reason she thinks other people put stuff in my dresser when they don't she takes stuff out that she dosn't think is mine and that is actually mine and when I go looking for it I end up having to go ask my granny where it is and she dosn't even say sorry and sometimes she says rachel havn't you gained a little weight in the past 2 weeks every time I go over which is every to weeks and iam only 5 foot and weigh 149 lbs I know iam a little chubby,but it really hurts my feelings what should I do?
Sometimes older people have a harder time understanding things. They were raised differently than us. Sometimes they dont know when to shut up. My grandma for example once said to my dad, "Dont look now, but the guy behind us is FAAT"
Times change, but they dont change with the times. I wouldn't sit her down and talk to her to be honest with you. If she says your fat, I would just say "yep, mom sure does cook a good meal." Or "yeah I know, being fat is in now a days"
As for the snooping thing. She probably just wants to help. If this really bothers you, you could just tell her that you are fine with unpacking your things by yourself, and you dont need any help.

i realllly need help getting to sleep and waking up for school! i go to bed at like 2 and wake up at like 11 pills herds ANYTHING
Ok. About a week or so before school starts, get yourself back in your regular sleep routine. Summer has probably screwed up your sleeping patterns. So go to bed earlier and wake up apx. the time you would wake up for school.
It will be easier to wake up for school once your sleep patterns are back on track.
DO NOT take sleeping pills!!! You need a doctor to prescribe them, and if you can somehow get over the counter meds DONT GET IT!! Sleeping pills can be very addictive, and you dont want to be addicted to them at a young age.
14/f. i really want to buy a tredmill so that i can exercise everyday without leaving the house and while watching TV. but there are some problems.
1) my parents don't want to buy one becuase they are expenisive.
2) and i definitaly don't have the money to pay for one all by myself.
what can i do? i really want one so that i can stay in shape during school. i can't go running outside, so i really need this tredmill. what can i do?!?!

Treadmills are VERY expensive. Even if you did round up the money, you might lose interest in it after a while. Buying a treadmill is a big investment, just like a pool table, or a big screen tv. You need to be really serious if you are going to buy such a huge item.
Why cant you run outside? Its the same thing as a treadmill, only its free, and you cant do it while watching tv, but its good to get outside and excersise. So run outside. Or you can jog, or fast walk.
Its all the same thing..it will work the same as a treadmill, only you wont be $3000 in the hole.
Hey im 15/f. And i think i have some sort of sleeping disorder. Because i dont usually get tired until about 3 or 4 in the morning. And i hate it because that only leaves me a couple hours of sleep. But when i do have time to sleep in i usually sleep in until like noon and dont wanna get up. I was wondering is there something wrong with me? I used to be able to fall asleep right away. But i just cant anymore. Please help!!
It sounds like your sleeping patterns are off.
If you stay up until 3 or 4 am, and sleep in until noon, you still have your regular 8 hours of sleep, its just that you woke up late, so its like the day is going by faster then you want it to. And then you dont get tired until later because you woke up so late. Its kind of a vicious circle.
Try going to bed earlier, try reading something. Turn off the tv at least a half hour before you try to sleep so your mind will settle down.
You could try taking a hot bath right before you go to sleep. It will calm you down and make you sleepy. You can buy bath salts that are like..aromatheropy too, and they say they will calm you down too.
Then you just try your hardest to sleep. Try listening to some music while you drift off.
I have a cousin who is 18 and she is obsessed with stephen coletti from laguna beach. it is really bad and scary and gross. she actually thinks in her messed up nut of a mind that she is gonna marry the guy. she bought like a really expensive gown/dress thing and always tells me how they are gonna name their kids peachy and cory. meanwhile i am sitting there thing of the best escape route out of that physcos house. she even has a pillow with his face on it and she actually masterbates with it and licks it and now their are wierd stains on it and everything! SCARY I KNOW... when she tells me all this stuff sometimes i just wanna sock her. her room is filled with pictures of him and she talks about how great his sex IS and all the dreams of making out with him. i have no idea what she means by "IS" she doesnt even know the poor man. she tries to make me dress up like him..so she can do "stuff" =\..FOR ME THAT WAS THE LAST STRAW. she actually cries when there are no autographs by him on ebay. i am scared for the guy if she ever meets him....does she need a boyfriend or a swift kick in the butt or SOMETHING? I love school for two reasons- my friends and getting away from my mom. Lately my mom had her tooth puolled and she's been whining and groaning and yelling at me and being nice to my brother. I feel like a burden, That's why I hate it at home. ShouldI get professional help w/ my problems or ask my friends because they help me with alot like I help them. I'm closer to them than I am my whole family. I've told my one of my Boy BFF's who understands (and who I like but thats different) me, but he swore not o tell and now I'm thinking I should tell this teacher who everyone loves including me, but I'm not sure soooo.... what do you think?

Its pretty comon to be closer to your friends than you are with your own family.
You need to talk to someone. Your friends are probably the best bet, because at this age, kids and parents are always fighting, and your friends might be going through somewhat of the same thing.
Teachers are good too, but they might go all "adult" on your ass. Thats all fine and dandy but sometimes if you just want to bitch and complain about your mom, your friends will probably listen better than teachers..
Teachers would probably say "try and make peace with your mom, she loves you, try and get along with her", and then they will probably lecture you about why mothers are like that and such.
I think its funner to just bitch and complain to friends. They will understand more than teachers because they are probably going through the same thing.
Okay,this is kinda long.But here it goes.
I like this guy named Tray and Im not sure if he likes me back.He looks at me sometimes..But i think he likes my friend lacie,because today he hit her on the head with a peice of paper but he did the same to codie his guy friend,and he usually flirts with a girl he likes I think but i do know that like 3 to 4 days ago.Tray and Codie was looking at me and when i looked there way they both turned there heads and than codie kinda hit tray in the shoulder but tray looks at me sometimes but not a whole lot but i would keep liking him but I dont know if he likes me or not I hope he does but i need advice HELP!!!!
instead of driving yourself crazy with the whole "does he like me?" thing, you could just go up to him and try flirting with him a bit.
Or you could ask him to hang out after school or something, see where it goes from there. Maybe after a while you will gather up enough guts to ask him if he likes you or not.
as for the hitting your friend on the head with a piece of paper..that probably didnt mean much, because if he did the same with his guy friend, well then I dont think its a hidden "i love you" signal.
Just hang out with him more. Maybe sparks will fly.
