Okay, I know this is an odd question, but what does everybody think of Avil Lagvine? What happened to her after her second album? And is it just me or did she become a big poser?

Honestly, I don't care for her. It drives me up a wall to know my sister actually likes her and listens to her. Quite honestly I think it's a waste of music space.
Then again...most music now these days sucks anyhow. Just my imput, but I am sure I'm not alone.

Avril Lavigne is a fairly popular singer/ songwriter.
And I'll ask you a question.
How do you define the word "Poser"?
And Why is everyone calling everyone else a poser?
I dont understand how she is a poser. Her first album was kind of lame but she was like 17 when she made it.
Complicated and sk8er boi were really popular with teenagers.
Now she grew up, and started to write about things she cares about.
I say, if you have the power to express something you feel strongly about in the form of a song: DO IT.
Also, she got married. Shes smart for not exploiting her relationship to the public because that just ruins the whole relationship. It will probably last if the public doesnt know every detail about it.
I'm not a HUGE fan of hers, but I like some songs and I respect her for writing about the things she cares about, and not having someone write the songs FOR her and just give them to her so she can sing them.

i think her second album's better than her first. everyone always thinks of her as a poser, and i find that just another stupid label. she can dress, sing, do whatever the heck she wants to do. i mean, i remember everyone used to listen to her first album, so does it really matter if she was a "poser" or not? anyways, she sort of disappeared from the music scene because she just got married to the guy from Sum41's Deryck Whilbey [ i know that's probably spelled wrong ] and she might've just wanted a break. anyways, i hope i helped. <3

i think her second album was better than the irst but i really didnt like it too much. she is poserish because she trys so act all punk when she is really more popish in her music. and she got married i think. that's why she kinda disappeared from the music scene. but she didnt go away completely because she was the voice of a possum i think it was in the movie over the hedge.
