has anyone heard of a place in south hackensack called school of rock? i think its a place where bands perform, and i was going to go to a concert there, but im not sure if it has a bar in it or anything..i tried calling numerous times, and left messages, but i havent gotten a call back. please help mee so i can go to the concert
my best friend & her sister go there! (they also provide lessons) so i was there once for one of her concerts. it doesn't have a bar, atleast it didn't for her concert. basically it's this big room with this huge mural on the back wall and it isn't very big, there's a small stage.. i don't know if it will be any different for the concert you will be going to. most likely not though.

For English class, I got assigned the Salem Witch Trials. To present our paper, we're suppsoed to act it out. Like, you can't read your paper, I have to act like I'm a witch and supposed to make up a story to show my class. I'm scared, and I dunno what to act out? I already planned having a court scene, where the witch is proven guilty. Any other ideas?

To act like a witch, you don't need to wear a witch hat, carry a broom, or wear green face paint, since ordinary people got accused.
My teacher said that what started the Salem witch trials was a group of young girls who rebelled against their Puritan society. They accused others, and then others would accuse others...and so on. So in your court scene, you could start saying something about the witch like.."MARY'S A WITCH, I SEE HER SPIRIT IT'S OVER THERE! It's on Betty!" lol...Basically what the "witches" did back then was acting, so just follow along. Then "Betty", or whatever, can start like looking around and screaming or something...actual kind of funny. So have fun with it and good luck. Hope I helped! :)

So earlier today i spent the day with my boyfriend and we messed around a bit and we took a shower together.we were in there for about 10 mins maybe? and I started to get light headed and started seeing lights and couldn't hear well.So I told him I needed to sit down.I felt like throwing up So I sat down by the toilet.It was really weird.Before I passed out while my sisters friend was cutting my hair.It was weird.I eventually threw up.Can anyone tell me why this happened.I'm so concerned now.Any ideas on what could have caused this?
Was the water really hot in the shower? Sometimes if I take really hot showers and it gets all foggy and steamy in the bathroom it feels harder to breathe. Maybe that caused you to feel light headed? I don't know about you getting your hair cut though. I think it'd be best to go to a doctor. Good luck :)

I am looking to buy a new Digital Camera next sunday, but I don't know what to get. I know I am going to buy it from Sears (sears.com) because I work there and next weekend we are having a big friends and family night sale but I am lost when it comes to getting one.
I currently have have a fuji film and its a nice camera for being a few years old but I am ready to move on. It was a great buy for about $100, but it takes too long between pictures and it takes bad close up pictures... its not the quality.. its just like some are better than others i guess you could say.
like my best friend his i could sit and take great picture after great picture of myself for hours on his.
I am willing to spend up to like $250 on a camera (my discount is 10% but there is 7% sales tax)
and I want one with a decent size screen and also the ability to make movies (only a min or two is fine)
I prefer personally recommendations because I was trying to read the ones on the site and most had mixed reviews or none at all

I recently got a Canon PowerShot SD750 and i LOVE it. The screen is huuuge- 3 inches so the pictures show up bright and clear. It takes movies, with lots of different settings such as time lapse, color swap and more. It has many cool modes and settings for taking pictures and the pictures are great. It's pretty quick between pictures which is good and there is a special setting for taking close up pictures called digital macro. I looked on Sears and it is 299.99, but I got it for around $250 on a different website. Personally I think all Canons are really cool, so you may want to check out some of the less expensive ones available at Sears and see which one fits you. Hope I helped! :]

Okay. Well, I have a summer job-babysitting. And by the end of the summer (August 27), I'll have appx. $415--That is, IF I don't spend it. This is going to be tough, because I go to a local amusement park with my friends 1 time a week & I usually spend about $10 a day. I also have another "job"-I clean my brother's whole downstairs and get $20 per week.
$415 is a lot of money, but it seems like nothing, because I need:
-a laptop (my brother broke my computer recently [i'm on his right now])
Woooaaah, okay. I think your problem here is what you want, and what you need. $415 is a lot of money. Maybe you could try not to spend $10 every time you go to the amusement park. Even if you spend like $2 less or something each time, that will give you more money in the end. I'm going to be 16 in December and I haven't even thought of getting a car yet or saving up for it. Maybe I'm just behind or something but I don't think you need to be worrying TOO much about that just yet.
I've been wanting a new $250 digital camera FOREVER. I don't even have a job right now, but I earned money from cleaning for my aunt and stuff. Then I realized that I had like hundreds of coins in my room and all over my house. So I cashed them in at the bank and I received over $100.
I mean, I want a laptop too and new clothes (I could always go for new clothes) but obviously you have access to a computer right now so do you REALLY need a laptop for AIM and myspace and stuff? Laptops are pretty expensive. As for clothes, lately I've been finding cute things in inexpensive stores. I don't remember the last time I shopped in Hollister (idk if you wear that stuff, but my point is you can get a few new clothes for less money that are still cute)
So all in all, just don't splurge on stuff you don't NEED to manage your money, try to just spend a few dollars less at that amusement park, etc. I can't give you an actual cost for the things you want because it all depends. So I hope I helped and good luck :]

i asked a question about the sims expansion packs and things like that earlier. most of the answers were talking about the computer game. on the sims 2 website, it showed it for ps2, nintendo ds and wii, things like that. i dont really want to put it on my computer becuase i dont want it to make my computer run slow or take up a lot of space. is the ps2 game the same as the computer game?

I have the Sims 2 for my computer, and I have the Sims 1 and I believe the Sims Bustin Out for ps2. Personally, the game for the computer is best because even though it may take up a lot of space, it's worth it. Obviously the objective (not that there really is one lol) is still there for the ps2 games-you control the sims and their families. But the graphics are better on the computer, you just have more control over them I think and it's just more fun for some reason. If you like to have storylines, then the ps2 version is better for you because they have those for you to follow. But if you'd rather to be able to do whatever you want then the computer is better. Sorry if this was kinda confusing but I hope I helped you! :)

I have the sims2 seasons and all the expansion packs. Suddenly for some reason cars, driveways, and garages come out invisible. For example, when i drag a driveway out, they have the squares on the ground lit up underneath as if you were going to place it there, but the driveway is invisible. And even when i place it there, it will charge me for it, but it's just not there. It's the same for the cars and garages. Why is this?!?
My other question is for some reason the snow won't melt. Even when it's summer, the snow is still there. I though changing the seasons in the season menu would help, but the ground is constantly white. Why is it doing this????
Have you installed the Seasons patch? On the list for the patch it says something about fixing snow melting, so it might help if you installed it. Here is the link:

About the cars, etc. There is also a nightlife patch but I did not see anything about changing your problem. Have you installed any custom content? If so, you may want to delete it from the game because it may be causing this. 16/f.. so i am sooo sick of being known as the shy quiet girl. i went to a private school up until 9th grade, where my group of friends & i were basically known to never talk [which was bull bc we did but we werent so loud & out there]. i thought when i changed schools itd be a whole new beginning. it has been a little bit as ive been forced to open up and make friends, but soo many people still say im always soo quiet and never say anything. IT IS SOO EFFING OBNOXIOUS! ive loosened up alot the past couple of years and while i may not be the most popular girl who can just talk to anyone or be loud in class, im not a mute. im always laughin and carryin on in class but usually only to a couple people that i sit around. how can i change this? people always say oh just say whats on your mind.. well sometimes, theres just not anything on my mind! if i had something to say i would say it no problem, but sometimes my mind is just a black hole haha and i seem to be bad with keeping conversations going unless i just click with people really well. i just want this whole shyness thing to go stuff itself.. any thought?
ok i could've wrote this question myself (except for the private school stuff) but i'm the exact same way! and you're right, it's sooo annoying when people are like do you ever talk?? yes, i do-i'm not mute. and then people are like just be yourself, say anything-it doesn't just work like that. so, even though i'm really not making much progress as of yet .. i've decided whenever i talk to someone new, even if it's not a full conversation, just a few words back and forth, i'll reward myself with something. sounds stupid, but you never know! think out conversations before in your head. think of things you can ask them or talk about. also, don't worry about those people who say things-why would you wanna talk to them anyway if they think you never talk? just talk to the people you say you sit around and don't worry about anyone else. as you become more open with them, maybe that will help you with others. i hope i helped, good luckk!:)

i'm going to the beach for a week and im really nervous because i'm due for my period that week. but it MIGHT not come because i got my period last summer and its still irregular. but i'm 13 and going into eighth grade and i dont use tampons and I don't really no anyone my age who does. but i really have no choice of wearing a tampon if i go down the shore, i'll be in the water most of the time. am i a little too young and not had my period long enough to use one? i tried to put a tampax compax tampon in one time, and it would go in! i pushed hard. and i started crying and sweating becuase i was really nervous and wasn't sure if I was putting it in the right spot. So, do you think I should use one and where to I put it in?!? Also, like I never fingered myself or anything so is it going to feel like pleasuring if I put it in, and will it hurt? I never put anything ever up there!
okay, definitely wear a tampon! don't be nervous. last summer i went down to the beach for a week too and i got my period the day before i went down. i didn't really think and was scared to ask my mom for tampons because i wasn't even going with her, i was going with other family, and i was miserable!! also, DO NOT WEAR A PAD IF YOU GO IN THE WATER! i was stupid enough to do that and yeah, it was just bad. i'd suggest you wear tampons when you're in the water, and pads (if that's what you're more comfortable in) anytime else. do as the person below me said to find where to put it and how to, and you should be fine. trust me, you'll be much happier wearing a tampon, knowing that you can go in the water and actually ENJOY your vacation. have fun!! hope i helped :)

this might not be the best place for this question and im sorry. but im 5'5" and i hate it! my dad is really tall and my mom is 5'8". how do i keep myself from growing. people say vegies help you grow so do i not eat vegies (bc i do eat alot of vegetables) so could someone help me.
i'm 5'7" and at times i feel sooo tall. but other times it's awesome! lol like, taller people can be models and seriously, like who would want to be short?! 5'5" is pretty much the perfect height. idk how old you are but if you are still young and will grow more, people will catch up to you! since your parents are tall obviously you will be too, so don't worry. there's like girls out there that are over 6'. learn to love your height, because you'll be stuck with it forever :)

Basically what you'll find in stores- babydoll tops, bright/large patterns, plaid shorts/bermuda shorts, etc. That's what my view on the hot fashion would be, but when I looked in up on google they said: Dresses, Futurist, Metallics, Romantic Looks, Folkloric Styling,
Slouch Looks, Luxury Sport, Bold Prints, Neon Brights and 80's Body Conscious. As for shoes, wedges, anything that has metallics/bold prints on it like for fashion. You'd probably be able to find most of this stuff from any store, but I'd say Forever 21 has really cute stuff. Hope I helped (:
