sometimes i feel like i have insomnia tooo, where i cant sleep alot, have trouble falling asleep.. My mind and YOUR mind can be restless still going 80 miles an hour, multi-tasking daily crap in life school, work, family, friends, chores, etc. so finnallly when u try to wind down, slow down, sleep I know! you just can't... YES i have taken sleeping pills, tylonal PM can work but i strongly sugest you don't take sleeping pills beacause you can get addicted to them, i did once, i would steal them from my parents bedroom. I have to turn off all the technology crap at leest an hour before i sleep. cause it gets me thinking to much, too fast. So turn off ur CELL PHONE, AIM, AOL, COMPUTER, TV, PAGER... and you should try to read something boring or interseting, take a hot bath have a bunch of soothing aromas candles, lavender can make you RELAX. DON'T EAT before you go to sleep, food can give you energy and keep you awake. AHHH, I drink hot sleepy time tea haha, the herbs really make u tired. exsercise during the day so by night u wil be exhusted and slowly get ready for school by seting ur alarm clock alil' earlier each time and try to go the bed a lil' earliewr each time. OK i am finnallly done yeahhhh!

A lot of people have told me that when they can't fall asleep they use Tylenol PM, even though they dont have any pain or anything. I tried it once and it really worked.

Lay down for bed an hour before you want to be asleep. Turn off the tv and lights and just lay there you will eventually get bored and fall asleep. And wake up the next mornning about the same time that you will have to wake up for school. Do this for and a week and your body wil get is sleeping schedule back to normal.

The first night laying down early will probly be really hard. I tried to get to bed early and ended up just laying there till 2am. But i still woke up at 6am. So even if you dont get to bed till after midnight still walke up early so that you will be tired that night.

hope this helps
kim:)

Ok. About a week or so before school starts, get yourself back in your regular sleep routine. Summer has probably screwed up your sleeping patterns. So go to bed earlier and wake up apx. the time you would wake up for school.

It will be easier to wake up for school once your sleep patterns are back on track.

DO NOT take sleeping pills!!! You need a doctor to prescribe them, and if you can somehow get over the counter meds DONT GET IT!! Sleeping pills can be very addictive, and you dont want to be addicted to them at a young age.
