15/f. Ive never inserted a tampon before but Ive tried a couple times a long time ago. I just feel really uncomfortable doing it and feel like it wont work, or itll hurt. I sort of feel like somethings wrong with me and i will never be able to use tampons. this isnt good because im a sophomore on varsity basketball so its hard with practice and games constantly and a competitive level where you need to play hard 24/7 (with pads..) someone help?

A lot of girls think that tampons are so scary. Honestly, they're not. If you're really that scared, start using the smallest ones. They'll go in easier and it won't hurt. I promise. Just make sure you put it in slowly and in the right place. Try to position yourself in a way that's comftrable for you. Parents' make mistakes and I know that it's hard for you to get over this. I'm sure that your dad knows how you feel about this, but talk to him again and maybe asking him why he forgot your birthday would help you understand better. Parents' have a lot on their minds and they have a lot of things to do so don't take it to heart. My feelings would be hurt too, but just talk to your dad. It'll make you feel better.

I don't know why he's been acting strange, but he probablly has some things on his mind. Don't start thinking negative about it, but just talk to him. Ask him what's up and if everything's all right. If it's fine, just step off for a bit and let him do his thing. I know that it probablly makes you feel bad because you really like him, but just give him a little space and see what's up with him. Breaking up with a guy for not sending you a flower or getting you a gift is unreasonable. Maybe he doesn't like to celebrate this holiday and most guys don't like getting or reciving gifts. You could ask him why he didn't get you anything but it's really not a big deal. You shouldn't break up with someone because of that.

i really started crushing on this kid about a month and a half ago. i hung out with him once and ever since then we never talked. but then in the past week i talked to him again. i really want to hook up with him, but i never will be able to. as soon as i was starting to get him out of my head, he randomly comes into my life again but leaves just as quick. Why can't you ever hook up with him or hang out? You don't have to forget about this guy and you shouldn't make youself get over him if you can't. I think that you guys should try to get to know each other better. You guys need to hang out and just talk. If you have his screename or something, talk to him. Just flirt and have fun. He might be interested in you as well. If things don't work out, don't take it personally. Guys come and go and you'll move on. He's not the only one for you. If you really want to get over him, don't think about him as much. Just don't force yourself because it'll make things worse. Hang out with your friends and just enjoy being single.

i will try to be quick. me and my best friend(who is like a sister). i have some freinds from another school and she meet them and "fell in love" with one of those boys and annoyed the heck out of him. me and my friend got in a really big fight and i told the boy that she is not always so nice ect. now he wont talk to her and i keep trying to talk to him but he either wont listen or never answers his phone ect. my friend also thinks that since this booy will only talk to me that he must like me. This guy doesn't really seem to be interested in her or anything about her. If he doesn't want to talk about her, you shouldn't keep bothering him about it. You know that you messed it and it might be too late to take it back. I personally can't relate to your situation but I've had friends who had. Ask him to hang out and just to talk and it doesn't necceseraly have to be about her. Ask him those question. Text him.. anything just to get his attention. But like I said, if he doesn't want to hear about it, don't make him. It might ruin [ your ] friendship with him and I don't think you should risk it. You can't always fix what you messed up and you have to understand that.

I'm sorry but you're grammar is horrible and it took me a while to actually understand this. Anyways, you're being a good friend and you're concearned. She should appriciate the fact that you want to help her but she's so air headed that she won't listen. If people start to think she's a slut, that's her fault and she did that to herself. I think the reason she's doing this is because she likes the attention she's getting from those guy. You need to talk to her again and tell her about all the consequnces about it. She could end up getting pregnant and get a disease. She might actually realize that you're right when it's too late and I don't think eather of you want that to happen. He does seem to be attracted to you in some way. I can't really tell if he likes you or not but it is a sign that he might. You guys don't seem to know each other well. Ask him to hang out sometime and just talk. Get to know each other better and maybe he'll really start to like you. Just be yourself and have fun with him.

K ill make this short. My male friend (13) says he is going to have sex with his girlfriend on Friday night. I really really tried telling him all the consequences about AIDS and Pregnancy and how young he is etc. He wont listen to me! I agree with you on the fact that he is too young but you can't make his decisions for him. If he choses to have sex with his girlfriend, that's on him but you can't stop him. You're being a good friend for telling him the consequences and such but he's naive. Try talking to him one more time. Remind him to use protection and if he won't take your advice, you know that you tryed.

Honestly, you need to chill the fu@k out. I'm not saying that to be rude but your constand whining about no one loving you and caring about it is not true. Your mom is really messed up for saying those things to you but instead of crying and doing stupid things to yourself, you NEED to talk to her. You probablly don't want to and I bet you're really against that, but you have to ask her why she's so disapointed in you and why she says she doesn't love you. Now for this boy that you love. If you guys never kissed before, you'll know if it's good or not. You can't really explain "how" to kiss someone. When you guys kiss, it'll be natrual. my boyfriend just turned 17 [junior.. diff. school], and still doesnt have his license. he was supposed to get it 2nd semester last yr but he missed 12 days of school [the max. is 10 a semester] and they told him he'd have it wait another year and actually ATTEND school to get it. he was mad as hell and i felt bad for him [i started talkin to him in march of last yr so i never really knew he missed school]. so far this year, well this semester actually, hes already missed like 3-4 days, and its barely been over a month. now i see why he didnt get it. hes only had like 1 excused but the rest of the time he just "doesnt feel good" and doesnt get up. what can i say to him thatll encourage him to go to school so he can get his license this year, becuase i dont wanna hear all that whining all over again about him having to wait ANOTHER year to get it, but i dont wanna sound all motherly about it or anything yanno?

If he doesn't really care for his license and going to school, you can't make him care. He's just lazy and that's his own fault. Talk to him and try to convince him to get up and go to school. He needs to learn that being lazy won't do him any good. If he really wanted his license as bad as he claims he does, he'd get his ass up and go to school. He shouldn't just miss school for no reason. So, like I said. Just talk to him and try to convince him that in order for him to drive, he has to go. If he refuses to do so, there's really nothing else you can do. It's nothing you can fix.

Personally, I like French way better than Spanish. I took Spanish in middle school and I absolutley hated it. Now that I'm in high school, I take French & I really like it. I think it's more interesting and fun. See which one you'd rather like to spend your time learning and then chose. Any foreign language would look great for collage.

You can call a guy the same thing they call a girl. Sexy, hot, cute, gorgeous, .. and handsome but for some reason not a lot of guys like to be called handsome. The way you can resond to what they call you is just by saying thanks and giving them a compliment as well.

You have pretty eyes and blond doesn't really bring that out. I think you should dye your hair brown. Eather a medium brown or a bit darker but just don't go too dark.

No ones understands the relationship you guys have and they can talk, but you know it's not like that. Best friends are close and if those people want to think other wise, let them. Don't bother arguing with them about it because they will still have their opinions. People talk and assume things but you just have to learn how to ignore it and they'll eventually get over it and move on.
