hey, uh this is the first time for me to write to and i'm really in a pickle
i have a big gruop of friends, 1/2 guys 1/2 girls. over the past 9 ears in the same school, all of my guys friends has a a crush on me one time or another and has asked me out 1 time 2, one guy 3!
well it's almost v day and i'm still alone. i have never gone out with any of them. then finnaly i like this one guy in our group, but he is now goin out with my bff
then i liked this other guy right now, but he is goin out with my other friend. i'm stuck alone on v'day boyfriendless :( i really want a boyfriend but it seems like there is no guy out there that is my type and is single!! i'm goin to hight school next year and luckly none of my old friends r cummin with me. i'm spipeing a new sleat. just wish i could have a loving relationship before i get out of the 8th grade!!!

Oh, hey, I'm sorry I couldn't answer your question before Valentine's, but I'll give you what I can... Ok, what's important is that the guy is sweet and kind to you and others. The relationship doesn't really last long if the guy just ignores his girl. Sometimes they just want a girlfriend to brag to their friends. Believe me, I hear things... lol but if he's cute, you're a pretty lucky girl and from what I hear from your letter, you already are! Is there any more guys that you haven't noticed and is a good friend of yours?? Find one and see if he's good enough. I hope I helped!

There's a boy that used to be the kind of friend that I would tell my problems to when me and my b/f were going out. But after my b/f and I split, my friend completely fell in love with me. I don't like him that way, just as a friend, but he's trying to control my love life by being over jealous.He says he won't stop until I go out with him. I have a new b/f now, but I can't let anyone know because I don't want my friend to find out and he'll be hurt.He gets mad whenever I'm on the phone with my b/f. What should I tell him? I don't want to lose his friendship, because he is a really good friend.

If he's a really good friend, he'd be much more understanding than that. But if you really think so, just try to talk to him and say that you love him but not in the same way. Good luck!

the other day this guy i fancy asked me to go out with him so obviosly i said yes.....the thing is although he "asked me out" but i dont think we will ever actually go out to places....so i dont know if theres is any point in the relationship....HELP PLEASE!!!!!

"Going out" doesn't literally mean going out to watch a movie or eat dinner. If you're younger, it just means that you two are "together" like "girlfriend-boyfriend." If you're a bit older, sure you can really go out and eat dinner or something. But it doesn't mean LITERALLY. Hope I was help!

I'm really sorry to hear that. You must be really upset. But think... He probably broke up with you because he had feelings for her anyway. So it's not really your fault. But if he's just going out with her to make you jealous or anything like that, he's probably not worth it. Am I any help? Hope so!

I'm really sorry. I got that problem, too. It's probably insomnia, (most females get it) and it is a sickness that makes you have trouble going to sleep. So i recommend you on doing research about insomnia, like on the internet. Here are a few tips:
- Don't eat or drink anything that has caffeine in it.
- Only use you bed to sleep; reading, watching TV, etc. should be done somewhere else.
- Don't take naps in the day.
So, I hope I helped. I have some more tips, but for some reason, I can't remember them. Good luck!

I didnt add this in my other friends one{table and my best friend and ya..} OK so ya we were best friends for 5 years..in the past she has talked about me with her boyfriend about how I am soo fat and all this over mean stuff..I just ignored it and got on with life..SO now this year she isnt going out with anyone and she is still bitchy to me! all of these fights we have had in the past I just ignore and move on..was that the right thing to do>? and now I think she found a new best friend or at least blew me off and i can tell that she is pissed at me and i didnt do anything!! that is the thign that pisses me off! well I have nothign more to say otherwise it will get really confusing!

your friend sounds really mean and rude that is so not acceptable, u should try talking to her and tell her how u feel. in the mean time try to find other friends who are loyal, honest and trustworthy

Ha, ha! I have the same crisis going on right now! I'm not that responsible around the house but I'm sure you can do it. Show her you're responsible enough to get a pet! You may start out by babysitting your little brother or sister, 'cause trust me, they're animals, too! Ha, ha! Or maybe you can start a pet daycare! But you may want to start little by little on that. Offer to babysit your neighbor's dog or something. Then graudually, your mom may be able to change her mind about this. Now isn't that great?

Don't be afraid! Just show off your amazing talent little by little. First, you can let someone very close to you listen to your voice and get their opinion. Then you can get a group of people you trust and let them hear your beautiful singing voice. You may feel more comfortable singing in public! Good luck!

You are the first to write in my advice column! Thank you so much! Well, anyway, back to your question... So, you like this guy but your friend likes him, huh? To be honest with you, I think you're wrong about her being mad. Yeah, she may tell her guy you like her, and there may be a bit of competition going on. But just open up to her and if she's a really good friend, I'm sure she'll understand you!
