my friend and i who go to a small catholic school and are at the top (8th grade) of the school want to plan a talent show. we love theatre and things but we need permission from our principal, a strict nun. we used to hav talent shows each year, until 3rd grade. she held auditions for one in 5th grade, and i got in, but it nevr happened. my frend and i think that if she put my friend and i (who organized people in our class to make movies and things) in charge, we can DO IT!
any tips on gettin her to say yes and makin it successful? (link)

Okay the best I can say is talk to them nicely and polite and explain to them why you want to do the talent show and how much fun it would be for the rest of the school. So good luck and hope you get to do the talent show!

Alright, for my chruch, we're having an "angel tree" and in our church theres this big tree with lots of paper angels and on the back in an envelope, is a familys name. well, I want to do the twelve days of christmas for this family, they're fairly newly weds, they have 2 girls, one is 4 the other is 2, but i'm having problems thinking of things to do!
my mom is into it too, so i'm not gonna have a big issue with money. its a whole family thing, but I cant think of anything!! please help me come up with cute ideas for these 2 little girls! please, no Original poems or the whole, partriage in a pear tree things! they're really little and i want to make this special, so please no peoms or anything too big?

okay, i have a friend, well i dont know if shes really a friend anymore now, named amanda. well me and amanda have been bestfriends since 1st grade [at least] and amanda and me have ALWAYS done things together. then 3 weeks ago, she spreads a rumor that the people at our lunch table talk behind her back and are mean to her. and she told all the 'preps' that. and now they come up to me and my friend randi and are like "why are you mean to amanda" and we arent!? so well i guess we kinda get mad at eachother. and latley shes been ditching me for this other girl mary grace. now every time she looks at me, she rolls her eyes, and wants US to appologize, at first i was like NO WAY we didnt do anything?! then i saw she was online like 5 minutes ago and so i IMed her i said "okay well we've been friends too long to loose eachother over this, im truly sorry for whatever i did" no reply "amanda please hear me out.." no reply. so i give up. what should i do now? write her a note and give it to her? should i not appologize and wait for her to appologize? oh and another thing is today during drama we had a performance and they said "dont waste your time fighting, just be friends" and at that EXACT moment we both looked at eachother. and always during class she looks over at me, and i look at her, so she quickly looks away, does that mean anything? or what? just give me some guidelines, because im really confused and dont want to loose my bestfriend. Try to appologize and maybe she will accept it and then later on you could see what that was all about. Maybe she took something the wrong way and you didn't know what it was about.

okay ive been dating this girl for about 6 months. her name is jessica. she's really cool and i love her alot but for the past 2 weeks shes been acting really weird latley. she seems to get really jelous of other girls. like i'll be talking to my friend lily and she'll pull me keep me away from her and if i try to go she pulls me and stright up tells me not to talk to her. but then i talked to her and she said she was sorry but yesterday she strangled lily and almost threw her down the stairs. i dont know what to do. i love jessica with all my heart but her jelousy is giving me other thoughts. i love her so much but maybe it's not worth it. is this normal is relationships? how can i convice her not to be so jelous? should i just dump her? what should i do??? maybe you should just find some time to talk to her and tell her about whats up. If she dosn't agree with anything she might not be worth it. And maybe she's just the jealous type that if she see's you with another girl she gets jealous because she dosn't want to lose you.

I've seen this guy around school last year and I thought he was cute, but I never really considered on having feelings for a guy during highschool because I've seen so many of my friends get hurt by relationships.
Well, not giving that a second thought, I noticed him more this year. I heard things about him and he shares alot of common interests with me, but I didn't talk to him, up until last month. So I worked up the courage to talk to him and he seemed like the nicest guy I've ever met, and I really thought we were going to be good friends. However, I started getting stronger feelings and it just made everything more awkward. We started drifting apart so fast, and I never really got to talk to him after. He's a senior and I'm only a sophomore...so basically I don't even hang out with his friends. But that's not the point, the point is that just this week there's this girl who keeps talking to him, and I treated it casually because he has alot of friends that are girls. However, I overheard them talking about relationship problems and things like that. Afterward I kept seeing them walking together to every single one of his classes. What was even more horrifying to me was that today I saw them hugging at his locker. For all the weeks I've been following him around school at a distance, I've always seen him walk alone. It seems to me like she beat me to it.
I'm so unexperienced. I've never had a boyfriend, and I'm not those type of girls that make the first move because I really don't know what to expect. So to top it off, I'm depressed and I don't know what to do. I have SO much regret in me right now. I wish I could've reached him sooner...I could've taken all my chances and used it to my advantage, but other girls beat me to it and now I'm just...CRUSHED.
I am trying to get over it but I can't. My feelings control me but I don't want them to becuase its a distraction. I've never been so jealous and I just feel like I'm a big loser. I really want to be friends with him too but it seems like all he does now is hang out with this girl. Please help me out. (link)

Oh yeah I know how you feel I'm like that right now but now I also found a super sweet boy too but I'm still jealous of the girl who took my crush. But if you really havn't found out that they are together then you might still have a chance. Even if they were hugging at there lockers they might have been thanking each other for something but they might be together but you can have your friends go up and talk to him about who he likes and stuff like that or you could go up and talk to him and be friends and maybe he'll some around to you!

Well there is this guy and I am totally starting to crush on him and I was just wondering if there is a for sure way to tell if he likes me back!! He is in two of my classes and i am a freshman in high school. Well anyways it seems like he is flirting with me, for instance he usually takes something from me and then he expects me to chase him around to get it back so i dont know if that is a sign because he does it in a sort of flirtacous. Sometimes when i glance over during class to check the clock or something and i will see him quickly glance away when i make eye contact with him when i see him looking my way. In our english class he was also mad because we have to change seats every six weeks and we use to sit next to eachother so he was mad because we werent by eachother anymore. I just really need to know if we have a chance even though we dont really talk outside of english and biology because we dont really see eachother. I really want him to be the one to ask me out or to just hang out so what should I do for him to know I like him back besides just flirting? I am also kind of shy unless u know me pretty well then i am extremly outgoing!haha! Last year I wasnt outgoing around guys but this year i am more chill around them and myself so I really hope that is a good thing. Ok, sorry if this is kind of long! I really appreciate any of you who will take the time to answer this, because i am really in a crisis.
Okay, well I have a boyfriend, he is a grade younger than me. But he is one of the best boyfriends i've ever had. He gives me hugs all the time, and he moves at my pace. And i am totally 100% positive that he likes me a lot. Theres no problem there whatsoever.
But the thing is, i am starting to miss my old boyfriend, who is my age.. that i have known for a longer time. I was going out with him about a year and a half ago. I still liked him when we broke up, but the reason we broke up was because my stupid friend (who i am not friends with anymore) told him that i wanted to break up. But i never told her that i wanted to break up with him, and i gave her no permission to break up with him for me. I later found out that the reason that she did this was because she liked him, and she was jealous, so she wanted to end our relationship. I bet you're asking why i didn't just go straighten things up with him back then. But the truth is, i was sorta shy until about a year ago. And we were both heartbroken when we broke up. He really cared about me and i really cared about him. My other friend recently told me that she would always ask him if he still liked me and he would say that he did. He always seemed really sad around me after that. It seemed like he really missed me, and i missed him too. I have wanted him back for so long now. But im not quite sure if he would still want me back. It seems like he still kind of likes me, but the only problem is that now, he also has a girlfriend. I don't want to interfere with him and his girlfriend at all, because i dont want any feelings to get hurt. But i think i am hurting myself inside just thinking about this. i really miss him, A LOT!
So yea, i have liked him this whole time pretty much, but now i am starting to like him even more. But i still love my boyfriend so much. like i would be sooo extremely sad if we broke up. But i guess i am at the point where, if the chance came, i would consider dumping him for the other guy. But i like them both so much. I am not sure how he feels about the girlfriend he has, but he probably likes her now. It really does seem like he likes me too though, and please don't say that either one is a bad boyfriend, because they both would never cheat on their girlfriends or intentionally do anything to hurt them. We all have our problems and are confused at times. I say if you still like your current boyfriend then I say stick with him for awhile since he likes you. And now for your ex if he has a girlfriend right now I don't blame you for not getting into them but have it go through a friend and find out if he still has feelings for you. I really want a bf cuz iv nevr had one b4. all my frends hav. im 13 and i jusst found out that the guy i liked is going out with some girl noone in my school knows, so hes out. i also like a seventh grader( is that weird?) and had this female seventh grader ask him if he'd evr go out w/ an 8th grader (he sed ya if shes hot but not one frum our skkool) so darn.

Hey, I have a dilemma. I want to go into something musical after high school. Every girl's dream is to write songs and play/sing them and become famous, right? At least mine is. But it IS a tough way to earn a living, and Dad would rather see me become a pharmacist. (yuck!) So how can I tell him what I want to do and make him realize that I'm NOT going to be what he wants me to be? He insists that I be a PHARMACIST. (And how could I possibly start my career without "starving to death" as Dad so bluntly puts it? I've already strarted writing songs.) any advice is appreciated! (link)

I say if they are your best friends you should get them something. Find out what they like by either talking to them about what they like and stuff like that.

I used to hang out with these people.The used to gang up and bug me.I fought with the leader.Big mistake.They ganged up agaist me and fought.I miss being in their group.When I hear them having yelling and fun from my house i feel left out.I try to make excuses and pass by them but I rarely have any.I want to be a part of their group again but I do not want to look to desperate.I get really bored at home alone.What should I do.

Depends on how they ganged up on you. But there are also many more people at your school right? So you can be friends with them. Usually people who hang out in groups are kinda mean to other people maybe not that group but you can definetly find more people to hang out with right? Hope my advice helps.

okay, so, here's the deal: this guy that ive known for a while might like me. he used to be my neighbor when i was little, then i moved away and went to another school, but then i started coming to the same school 3 years later, i just dont live by him anymore. well, anyway, so my friends say he likes me, but hes to shy to say it. and i like him a LOT!! he sometimes talks to me, you know, he just says something to make me laugh, or to try to impress me. he always looks at me, and when we're at school watching basketball games with our friends, every time i look at him, hes looking back at me. i think he MIGHT have a crush on me, but i dont know for sure. i just need your opinion on if you think he likes me or not. Ok so lately I've been having this impending feeling that life is temporary and I might lose someone I love or die and never see them again -ever- and the thought is really depressing me.
I used to believe in god but I grew away from that a while ago and I've tried to go back to my ignorance but it's failed because I simply can't convince myself or have anyone convince me. Especially since I wrote it all off as false and now reading about the religions faults makes it worse.
Existentialism keeps coming up and it's seems like the accepted logical way in the scientific community and it's driving me insane because I am getting anxious and at the same time I really don't want to get used to the anxiety and accept the fact that I might never see my mom or dad or boyfriend again if they died today.
So is there any other theory out there that hasn't been put down yet and seems pretty reasonable? I'm just wondering at all if there's any room for the afterlife in the modern scientific world? Could you please give me a few theories.
I would appreciate if you could refrain by trying to convert me to your religion and keep your answers as factual as possible. Thank you so much. (link)

You were like my dad. He used to believe in God but now he dosn't but I do. I am a Christian. I had those feelings before. Okay we believe that when you die and you havn't accepted Jesus into your heart you would go to hell instead of heaven. We don't make it up we read it straight out of the Bible. People have changed it and added different stuff. But please do this. Pray this prayer Dear Lord Jesus
Forgive me for my sins and when I die take me to heaven. Amen. If you do that you will go to heaven when you die no doubt. Even if you stop believing once you have done that you will always go to heaven. Thanks I will for sure pray for you.

I feel like I'm more spiritual than Religious. My family is of the Christian faith. I'm not sure that I'm that religious. I believe in horoscopes (don't judge me) and the power of herbal healing and I feel like I'm more intouch with my spiritual side. Then again, I feel bad for being like that because I'm afraid I'm going to go to hell for not being that religious. I just feel guilty.
What are y'alls opinions on this?

You wouldn't go to hell because you aren't so religious. I don't mind horoscopes they are fun right? So you don't need to feel so guilty. God answers prayers like if you ask him for something there are choices Yes and No right? So those two are what He could choose out of. So He could say yes or no. I hope everything goes well for you.

well, i lke someone ALOT and they used to like me but they got a girlfriend and we got into a fight over that and then we were gonna talk about it but that never ended up happening and so im really frustrated that we never got to talk about him haveing a girlfriend but what i just found out that made my frustration worse is that i found out that he broke up with his girlfriend and now is trying to get with one of my close friends.. i dont know what to do... someone help (link)
