talent show

my friend and i who go to a small catholic school and are at the top (8th grade) of the school want to plan a talent show. we love theatre and things but we need permission from our principal, a strict nun. we used to hav talent shows each year, until 3rd grade. she held auditions for one in 5th grade, and i got in, but it nevr happened. my frend and i think that if she put my friend and i (who organized people in our class to make movies and things) in charge, we can DO IT!
any tips on gettin her to say yes and makin it successful?

You could tell her that people need to buy tickets and the money goes to charity...they love it when you say things like that.

Okay the best I can say is talk to them nicely and polite and explain to them why you want to do the talent show and how much fun it would be for the rest of the school. So good luck and hope you get to do the talent show!
