Question Posted Thursday November 30 2006, 8:30 pm
I try to eat healthy, not like extremely low-cal or anything, cause I'm not trying to make myself skinny, but I just want to look like a normal, healthy person. Lately I have been eating a LOT at dinner time. I can't help it, I never feel full. I try to take my time when I eat, since it takes awhile for you to realize you are full, but I still am hungry. I eat a large breakfast ( about 500-600 cal) and about the same at lunch. I eat a snack when I come home from school, and I drink enough water. I have not gained any weight yet, but it's possible I could, the way I've been eating. I eat like two dinners every night now, sometimes like 1000 cal. What could be my problem, why am I getting so hungry now? How can I turn it around, or should I?
ductape_n_roses answered Thursday November 30 2006, 10:04 pm: Well, in teenage years, it's normal to feel hungry a lot of the times..like me =D haha. It's because your body needs energy and fuel to grow and if you're studying a lot, that take a lot of energy. School alone can use up a lot of energy. Stress also makes you eat more and more.
If you don't gained much weight after you eat this way for a while, it could just mean you have a fast metabolism (or you play sports?)
Eating this way is could be harmful to your body later on so when you feel like you have to eat or want to eat something just wait it out for 10min and see if you still want to.If you do, grab an apple or veggie or something like that and just munch on it =] [ ductape_n_roses's advice column | Ask ductape_n_roses A Question ]
