okay this might sound like HORRIBLY discusting,but i need advice. okay so im 14 and i HAVENT started my period yet. so lately i bought this energy drink, vault i drink 2 a day to keep me up. or just one. but lately its been brown down there(if you know what i mean) and when i go to whipe,its brown too!
and im wondering is this the start of a period or just effects of this energy drink?

This is most likely the start of your period. How long have you been having the brown? It's probably your period though.

However, that does not mean energy drinks are good for you. You should probably go to the doctor to check how the drink has been effecting you.

The person below me who said your period stops in water is wrong. You still can bleed.
My adivce is try to get it all the way in. If you can't, then don't go swimming. It isn't really good to have the tampon half out. If it's super light, you can wear an overnight pad and go swimming for maybe a half an hour. Most people don't recommend it, but I've done it before. I really don't think you should go swimming if you can't get it all the way in though.

No, they will not let your parents know. Generally, they will do it for free if you go to planned parenthood.

I don't think you should really date him. You are still a minor, while he is of age. You can hang out with him and the like, but the relationship should not grow beyond being friends. Besides, he is probably much more experienced than you. Having a relationship with him would cause all sorts of problems, and I don't think your parents would be too happy about it either.

It really depends on the person. Some people's lungs never give up, some give up in a few years.

Sit your dad down and explain how you feel to him. Show him the facts. Then tell him how it's hurting you. Use as much emotion as you can to prove you point.

However, if he refuses to quite, leave it at that. Honestly, some people will never quit. My dad has told me though he wishes he never started, he's never going to quit because he just doesn't want to.

It is differnet from the majority of them (you know, popular girl, popular boyfriend blah blah blah), but it could be better. Yes, I realize it's based off of true events, but spice it up a little if you want to make it on the top. More description would be nice too.

That's not big at all. I'm an inch and a half taller than you and I weigh close to 20 pounds more.

As for anorexia, you aren't anorexic until you stop eating.

ugh i have such a hard time finding bathing suit (bottoms) that fit. i'm polish so i have a bubble butt lol so whenever i try on bottoms i either get a wedgie or you can see my butt crack. i can't just go a size up because i have narrow hips so it'll get really bunchy looking if i try to tighten the strings. i have a few that just so happen to fit but only like 2 & one i've had since 6th grade. i dontt want boyshorts though because they make my thighs look big usually. i found some cute ones today but they were soo expensive. what stores have bathing suits that have good coverage in the back & good prices? thanks!

Bobs! For me, they generally have too much coverage (I lack an ass). They're really cute too. If you don't have one by you try Delias. Their fits are great.

That's not too old at all. People in highschool always go out with people who aren't their own age. Chances are, you'll end up marrying someone who isn't your age. Go for it!

heres the thing... i have a friend that likes me, and shes a girl and so am i. And im not Bi that i know of i mean when i think of ever being in a relationship with a girl i just dont see it even being possible i mean i cant even picture it. When you go through puberty fun little things called hormones run a muck throughout your body. I'm assuming you are a teenager. These hormones are causing you to have these feelings. Many people want to experiment with the same sex at your age. It's normal.
