Hey everyone!My name is Brina,I've been on this site for a few years, after not being on for a while, I figured I'd start up again, having more knowledge then before! Well, my sister is 16, and she's pregnant by her 20 year old boyfriend. I want to help her, I really do. She is about to turn 17 next month and she wants to move in with him. However, my mom told me that she wasn't going to let her and not to tell her that because she would get upset. So, I don't wanna upset her about it, so I am keeping my mouth shut.
I try to help her the best I can. If she wants something to drink, I'll get her something to drink, if she wants something to eat, I'll get her something to eat. However, it seems like whatever I do isn't good enough. She always complains that its too hot, or too cold, or she doesn't like it. She has the biggest mood swings ever. She cries constantly; when she's not crying she's screaming.
I just want to help her out so much. She's young and we have birth defect problems in our family. I want her pregnancy to go well. I just don't know how to help.

Aww that is so sweet of you. All of her crying and screaming is just from mood swings and you cant help that much. Just let her know that your there for her to help her and that you love her very much. Just help her out the best you can. It is great that your trying so hard to help you sister out. And you are, even if she crys and screams, you still are trying your best. It's the right thing not to tell your sister. It will make her more upset about the moving in and everything. Good Luck Hun. Okay, I know some people asked if you can like delay your period, but my question's different. I have to go on a Yacht for my friend's going away party on Saturday, and I just got my period this morning. Is there ANYTHING to maybe stop my period by Saturday morning? (Today's Thursday) There's no bathroom on the boat, or trashcan, and we'll be out there for a good 6 hours... :-\ I really want to go, so any help is appreciated!
You really cant bring your period to a halt. My idea is that you should wear a tampon and then bring a little baggy with you like, carry it in your purse and go into a empty room and just change it in there and put it in the baggy. I'm sure there has to be at least one trash on the Yacht because it is going to be a party and people would need to throw out cups and stuff you know? I know you wanted to know how to stop your period but that is how you can "control" your period. Hope I helped.

Well this guy I have liked for a while seemed like he liked me to, but all that time he had a girlfriend. Now after getting my heart broken and crying, I want to meet new guys or somehow get him to like me again. Does anyone know of where I could meet new guys and how I could just forget about Cam (the guy I used to like)? If you really give me your best advice, I'll rate high!
Just talk to other guys in your school, or if school is over to you go hang out somewhere and introduce yourself to some guys. The best way to start a convo with a guy is that it there isnt a clock were you are go up to him and ask him what time is it. Then you say thanks and say what your name is and ask his etc.I know what it's like to like a guy that has a gf. Dont worry theres other fish in the sea. Good Luck.

I am 13 and a girl who has never had a boyfriend and I think think this is my chance.There is this boy who has gone to mostly every school I have gone to(were in the same grade).But I think he likes me.Its like he has been drooping clues like he stares at me all the time with this serious look on his face,he saved me one time(if thats what you wanna call it)because I was walking and I wasn`t waching where I was going so I was about to bump into the wall then he said somthing to me then that made me look up,and his friend heeps on looking at me.So how do I figure out if he likes me without talking to him and can you give me information on how to tell if a boy likes you.
Hey. You will have to talk to him to get to know him a lot more. And, it wouldnt hurt to go up to him and ask if he likes you. Some signals might be if he is super nice to you, and with some guys they will be super mean to you. Hopefully he's the type of guy that is nice to you lol. Go up to him and say that you heard he liked you if he says he does then say, hey what a coinsadince i like you too. Dont be scared, you've gotta live life to the fullest. Take chances! Good Luck.

I know all guys are different, but do you think it's a turn off if they meet a girl who is almost 18 and isnt experienced (like hasnt even had her first kiss)?
In my opinion that would be very shallow of a guy to be turned off by that. You just havent found the right one to kiss, and thats not a big deal. When your ready your ready. Hope i helped!

Okay I really like this guy, Albert. He's one of my best friends. He tells me alot of things, he trusts me alot. My friend says me and him are getting closer and closer and that something will happen if he breaks up with Emma (his girlfriend) but she doesn’t know that I like him. Thats the problem. I really like him but he has a girlfriend. 2 of my friends know that I like him. Him and I do everything together in class, like we sit together in class and all. His girlfriend only likes him, she doesnt love him, but Albert says he loves her. Im not sure though and my friend thinks that he’s hiding behind her but really likes me. Everytime I say something he ALWAYS looks at it the gross way. Like if I accidently touch someone’s hand he goes “Someone wants to get it on” and that stuff. At a party, he put his arm around me but just playing (not seriously). And once in class I was turning around to face the teacher and my knee’s touched his knee’s and he did this funny look at me. Is there something wrong with him or does he like me? Coz he says he loves his girlfriend. Oh and his girlfriend is one of my good friends.
I'm guessing that he likes you. Most likely he went out with your good friend because she was your good friend and MAYBE she reminded him of you but was too afraid to ask you out. If a guy flirts that much with you and the other way around he can either like you a lot or he's just the type of guy that flirts with people. I know someone and he flirts with girls all the time, but he has a gf, he doesnt do like hugging and stuff just, joking stuff. Find out if he likes you. If they brake up dont make your move for about a month.Gradually talk to him about a relationship. You dont want your friend to get mad if you go right in and steal her man if ya know what i mean ;). ok i've known this girl for 3years as of the last day of school this year. and me and her would flurt on the phone and in person and talk about datin for the whole time we've known eachother but jus recently i ask her out for the first time, because it was the first time we were both single, and she said no so i asked her to the dance and she said yes but she stood me up. after cryin and forgivin her i asked her out again and she got my hopes up for almost a week then choose a faggit over me and really hurt me so i cried and yelled for about a week and forgave but should i. after all of this shes been shuttin be out and not very talkative and i really like her maybe even trully love her and i d k wat 2 do so some 1 please help
Maybe she's not ready for a relationship with you. That is so messed up that she stood you up. Maybe she's just scared because she likes you so much she doesnt know how to act.You should find out from her why this is going on. Ask her straight up if she has feelings for you or not. ok...my best guy friend's name is ryan. his and my friends are/were like determined to get us two to hook up. i thought i could do it since we were already close and everything...but when i actually got into the situation, neither of us could like...bring ourselves to do it.

K. Well one of my greatest guy friend and i always hang out together. People thought we would make a cute couple and that they thought we were dating. But we dont like each other like that. Maybe later we might but now, we dont. We are too good of friends to have a relationship like that. Were more "buddy buddy" then boyfriend girlfriend.
If you cant bring yourself to do it then dont! I'm sure it would be much better if you two were friends. Your friends and his shouldnt be in your buisness of trying to hook you two up. If you want to date him then its both of yours decision. I hope i helped! Good Luck!

ohk well im 13 and colombian (spic) woot woot yeah i know lol. anyways my mom and my dad asked me what i want to have a sweet 15 or a sweet 16.. its kinda early but they wanna start saving up since they wanna have my party at the hilton ... but the thing is that most if my friends that im going to invite are white or black and like 6 are spanish ... and i think that they will enjoy a sweet 16 better , but i mean its a tradition for a spanish girl to have a sweet 15 ? im confused help me out
Even if it is a spanish tradition your friends can still go and have a good time.
Its like with me for example, well i'm jewish and my friends who have had bat and bar mitzfas that i know that are jewish have invited non-jewish friends and they had a blast.
A sweet 16 is like a regular party, but a sweet 15 is a very common spanish tradition that is speacial for spanish girls. I would go with the sweet 15 because you could always have a smaller party for your sweet 16. But, it's your choice, and no one can make that choice for you. Good Luck. Hope i helped!

ok..so i want to learn how to play my electric guitar. would the person who teaches people be at a place that sells guitars? or a separate place? what am i supposed to say when i walk in? do you have an idea on how much i would go and how much it would cost? (like once a week, every week day, and so on) what will they teach me? dont say how to play...duh. but what will i learn? do you have an idea how long the lessons will be? (an hour, or what) and do you know how long it would be for me to be able to stop going to lessons? (a month? 3 months? how long?) and am i supposed to bring my guitar in each time i go to lessons? or am i going to be playing one of theirs? i think that would be pretty embarrasing to walk in holding a guitar ready for lessons...but it wouldnt seem right to be playing theirs when you should be getting used to yours or something. but whatever. or do you think i should just buy a tape and learn myself? please help!
You should go to a music store or to the guitar store and talk to the person there. And all the questions you asked would be perfect to ask him/her if he/she is a guitar teacher. You'll figure out the times from the person. Most likely you'll get it scheduled out. He/she will tell you when to bring your guitar, when you'll have lessons and for how long, they'll teach you cords most likely and songs I dont know what songs, because even though i wish i was, im not a physcic. He'll probably start you off with basics though, and then move to the hard stuff. Good Luck.

I am a homeschooled girl, I'm turning 15 in about two months. I am doing this program for middle schoolers, where I go and pick up tons of work each month. Apparently, theres so much, that its hard cramming it all in a month, but I manage to get it done the very beggining of the next month, meaning I turn it in late. This happens, because either I didn't have parents take me because they were gone, or I wasn't done. Most of the time it was just not going on time. I expected a lot from myself when I was in public school, my grades were always in a high range. But now, I am failing three classes. Ever since I saw my grades, I have been feeling guilty for eating, sleeping, or doing anything I want because I shouldn't deserve to do what I want. I am so full of stress, I think that maybe another reason. I see a therapist that takes both of my parents sides, and my parents are divorced, but they still fight. But, I'm not going to drown myself in excuses because I've managed to do well in the past. There are lots of other stressful things going on, but I am just really scared that I'm going to get held back. I havn't finished the month of May, I tried to last night, but those thoughts of being a failure took over and kept me from concentrating. I have no idea what to do with the present work, but I do have goals for high school, I might be staying home again. Could anyone share some advice that could help me get my stress out and my future thoughts in?

You are not a failure. Find out if you can get extra credit and let the teacher know why stuff is handed in late. It's very hard for a teenage girl to have parents that are divorced. The therapist should take both sides, not just your parents. It would be much better and easier if you went to public school next year in my opinion. Good Luck. I hope you raise those grades!

I went through something like that. I liked a guy for a while and then a girl started liking him and clamimed him hers. I backed off and gave him to her because i knew there would be other guys i would like. I had another situation like this with a different friend, but this guy that i liked, i really really really liked and i wasnt giving him up for her, she was cool about it unlike the other girl and told me she just thought he was hott lol.
Find out if she's head over heals for this guy. Sometimes girls get confused with liking a guy,and then liking them because of there looks. You seem to be jumping from guys. How old are you? If your a 13 or 14 yr old, i know how it is how you cant pick between guys. Is your friend really a great friend of yours? If so, talk to her about him and try to compromise on something. Ok, I really like Maroon 5 so I picked out a Maroon 5 buddy icon on AIM. Then a kid named Grant started saying to me that the only reason I liked them was because my crush likes them, and its not true, and I kept telling him that, and he kept calling me a liar. You dont have to convince Grant with anything. You know that you like maroon 5 and thats that. You shouldnt care what he thinks. You know the truth and thats that. hey i have a tough decision to make. yes its tough for me. tomorrow (tuesday) i can either go to bible school or my softball leagues party. i really wanna go to both but they are at the same time. i already said id go to bible school but i also said id go to the party with my friend. will someone please help me decide and give me good reasons y i should go to what you chose?

Well, your boyfriend has his friends and you have yours. Dont your friends join along sometimes? Even though he's your ex he's still your boyfriends friend. Usually guys dont really try to get back at there girlfriends because they seem to me to be very laid back. So, i think he just goes with you guys to hang.
