i dont know if i put this under the right category or not..but..my friend from school is having a little going away party for her..and theres gonna be guys and stuff and i just got the invite and it says, "COME READY TO SWIM" and the last party we had for the end of the year party..i didnt go to becuz i was self concious..now im 115 pounds and im 5'3 but i still feel like im wide and from the front i have all that lower tummy fat..and like everyone of my friends are skinnier than me and i just cant go to swimming parties cuz im always so down on myself! i dont know what to do! all answers are appreciated! thanks!

Hey there (= Don't worry, I'm same height/weight as you and I have my days when I feel huge. I'm still a size one in jeans, So I know I'm not fat at all, so that means you aren't either.

To make yourself look skinnier, don't eat before the party. Drink some water earlier in the morning, but be sure to pee it out, or you might look bloated. And do about 100-200 crunches right before you go, trust me, it`ll make you look skinner. Or try a more covering bathing suit like a one peice or tankini if you're too concious. Have fun! (=

Haha this is a very strange question but I tend to get hard nipples (when it's cold.. etc) and they show through my shirts. I have tried padded bras (they don't help much) and duct tape (doesn't work at all). It is also quite embarassing if I am wearing a swimsuit and they show through.

How can I stop them from showing.. I don't mind if it is uncomfortable but I do not like having to put on more shirts since it can usually even show through hoodies and what not.

If you go to Charlotte Russe, they have these little flower things at the check out, I believe they're calling Breast Buds or something, there flower shaped material that you stick onto your nipples to keep them from showing thru your shirt. About 5$! (=

my mom is sooo annoing with puberty and stuff. she acts all embarresed when i talk about it (which i hardly ever do cause since her behavior it makes me humiliated) and she reminds me of a 3 year old. I told her i had my period and she's like ok put a pad on and then for the last 2 days she has been acting all weird to me. We had like 3 pads left when i first got my first period and that was 2 days ago and i still have my period. So right now i'm on my last pad and i've been wearing it all day cause i'm way to embarresed to ask my mom if she can buy more cause then it will be awkward and the awkwardness is just beginning to wear off from when i told her i got my period. and also i'm extremely embarresed to go to the store and buy pads myself. I have no older siblings and I don't want to ask my dad to do it. Gosh PLEASE HELP HOW CAN I GET PADS??? Please I know this annoys you but: please dont tell me to ask my parents to buy some. Also please dont ask me to buy some cause when i went to cvs and bought acne wash for the first time the employee was trying to hide a smile.

I'm kind of "addicted" to Gatorade. Everytime we go to the store, I buy it. And, instead of buying cokes to keep around the house like I use to, I now buy Gatorade.. and drink atleast 1 a day. Ok, my question is.. Is Gatorade bad for you? And is drinking this much harmful? Should I cut down on any/all/how much?

Gatorade isn't horrible for you at all.
Its full of proteins and electrolytes that keep you hydrated, which is excellent for the summer months. However, Gatorade is also full of sodium, so watch out. Make sure you drink about as much water as you do Gatorade, or even a little less. (=

Well, whatever kind of Shampoo and Conditioner I try always makes my hair dry, frizzy and not so soft. I need help to find a perfect shampoo and conditioner that will help all those problems above. I've had headaches for the past couple of days i'll have one in the morning..take some advil..and then before i go to bed i'll get another one *sometimes* and it worries me. Is this a symptom of high blood pressure? They arent severe or anything like that..they are just headaches..Thanks

I know this could sound totally insane, but one of my friends used to have to miss school a couple times a month for horrible headaches. She went to the doctor, and they took her to a chiropracter. It turns out, the way her spine was lined up caused nerves to hurt in her head, [sounds weird I know] Now she gets her back cracked by a chiropracter once a month and she hasn't had a headache since! I was out swwimming yesterday and I went over to myfriend's place. I had just put on my jeans and I sat on their couch. When I got up, there was a huge blue stain on the couch. I had read something about just flipping it over so I just flipped the beige cushion over but now I'm feeling really bad about it because that stain would never come out.

Ok, i am the last person in the world to ever try to show off my looks or my body, and i hate talking about my appearance because i am so slender. People tell me im gorgeous, and that i'll be happy i was skinny when i was young because ill benifit later in life. Everyone tells me i could be a model blah blah . I hate it. Especially since people think models are all b*tchy and high maintanence. So one day, i applied on model search america.com, and they phoned me back and want me to go to las vegas for an interview. I agree with the answer below me. Models are just sterotyped, just like we think cheerleaders are stuck up, and if you wear black your emo ya know?

Any model can have her own personality, just don't let it get to your head. This sounds like a great chance you might want to take. Think about all the positives you could get from this! And, if you don't like it after a few months, you could always just come back home.

Just be yourself, if your friends can't see that, then maybe you should talk to them, or find new friends.

When I got mine off, I honestly didn't even feel anything. When they told me to get up an rinse out my mouth I looked in the mirror and they were off! It was amazing, a little dust from the glue they held them on their with came flying out when they were taking them off, but that was the only thing. Congratz!

Ok, this past year i have had 2 boyfriends. The first one was really great and I liked him alot. We were really close and i thought he cared about me. Then at one of my bff's b-day party's he was invited and so was my other bff. Well, my other bff and him went to look for the girl that was having the party's softball they lost in the woods. A little later they came out and my friend took me to the side and said he had kissed her. I was REALLY hurt. Then in the same day he broke up with me. This was his excuse:" I got my 1st cousin pregnant." Then, later on I found out it was a lie.
The second boyfriend I had was really close to me too. Then, he stopped returning my calls and all my friends were saying he was cheating on me. My bff(the girl the 1st guy kissed) said he had been calling her all the time. She also said she would talk to him for hours at a time. So, it really hurt me that she was doing this to me and rubbing it in my face. I don't wanna lose her as a friend, but why can't i hold on to a guy.....?

Sounds to me like your best friend is pulling the guys more towards her. Yeah, I know thats not what you want to hear, but thats what it sounds like, but of course I could be wrong.

Talk to her, ask whats with her and all of your boyfriends. If she doesn't confess, just watch out for her. If you get a new boyfriend, try to keep him clear of her. =]

From June 6 through the 27 I traveled to the UK. During the middle of my trip my BF emailed me and said he was leaving to go to Iowa to visit his Grandma. He was taking his best friend Felix. When I got home from the UK, I emailed my BF because I assumed he was home. He didn't reply. So I waited and waited (I also kept emailing him). This went on for about 1 month. Finally I emailed Felix and asked if the were home yet. He replied the next day and said they'd been home for weeks. I was FUMING!!! He was at home all this time. Why won't he email me. I never said anything mean or bad to hurt him, and I feel so sad. Does anybody know why he'd do this?

I`m going thru this, actually I've already been thru this. My friend cut too, same with like, everyone I knew. Each time I asked her why, it was a different reason, it was absurd. I found out, most people I knew doing it, only cut because they thought it made them "cool" I do not understand this, but still you need to talk to her. I couldn't make any of my friends stop, because I'm not "cool" enough to convince them what they're doing wasn't helping their social status. So, I'm asking you, to talk to her. Figure out why she's doing it, and then, try to help keep her busy. Take her to movies, sleepovers, bowling, whatever you can, and show her life is happy and fun, without razors and blood.

For your outfit: try wearing your favorite outfit. If you do a tank top, try not to do a mini skirt, guys like girls that show off their bodies, but not all at once, trust me. Wear a few accesorries that match with the outfit, and if its cold in your theatres bring a lightweight jacket.

If the movie is scary, grab his hand if you get scared, its totally cute. Sorta lean over to his side when youre watching the movie, like lean on the arm rest between you and him, and get close to him, he should take the hint.

Don`t drink a coke though, sodas can leave a very foul stench on your breath, which will be nasty if you make out with him. Also, they can make you burp, which would not be good. Be sure to have some mints in your purse, gum has been proven to cause bad breath, even the minty kind. So it`s safe to stick to mints.

If he does lean in to kiss you, follow his lead, kiss him back. Just enjoy the kiss with him and try to relax. Depending on his terms of making out, it may or may not include tounge, just be ready for him to slip his tounge in so you don't freak out if he does.
