Haha, no it doesn't hurt. People I've met used to freak me out and tell me that getting them on hurt and you should know that it didn't. All they really do is take the brackets off one by one until they reach the bands and all they do is give them an extra pull. It doesn't hurt and takes no time at all. The extra time is spent cleaning off your teeth and getting all of the extra cement off. Trust me, the results are amazing. I was sad to get my braces off, but eventually you get used to not having them there anymore. Congradulations :)

When I got mine off, I honestly didn't even feel anything. When they told me to get up an rinse out my mouth I looked in the mirror and they were off! It was amazing, a little dust from the glue they held them on their with came flying out when they were taking them off, but that was the only thing. Congratz!

Shouldn't take an hour. It doesn't hurt.. you just feel them kind of pulling. Very awesome results though!

it's not supposed to take that long.
they just pull the brackets off with a tool.
doesn't hurt.
just a weird tugging that you feel.

There is no pain whatsoever. All I felt was a slight tugging when the brackets etc were removed. It's actually really easy to get off. Don't worry :)

i never had braces, but my bf had them & so did my friends. they all told me, depending on the doctor, that it takes from 30 mins-an hour. no longer than 2 hours. they all said it hurt a bit but they also said it's definately worth it.

-hope that helped!♥
