There's this girl i really like. She is 18, just like me. I really want to ask her out, but i dont know if she like me the same way. We are good friends but i want to be more than that. I just dont know if i should go all out and tell her. Could you please give me some tips on how to get this girl's attention (so she will like me more) and any good places to take her on dates. If there is any way you can give me tips on how to send her little "clues" to show her i like her, that would be great! Thanks a lot!!

You could ask one of her friends if she likes you. That way you get to send her a clue that you like her and you'll find out if she likes you. You could also give her hugs and don't let go for awhile. Just look into her eyes. Trust me I think she should get the hint.. girls notice these types of little things. If you want to get her attention just be yourself. You can't really just make her like you. Just be funny and be yourself and be really sweet. As for dates, if you live by the beach take her to the beach and watch the sunset. Movies are always ok, but just be sure to let her pick the movie even if it's a chick flick. Taking her out to dinner is always an option. You could even go bowling or if you both like sports (ex. basketball) you could take her to see a game if you have the money to.You could also write her little notes and put them in her mailbox addressed to her and if you want her to know you like her then just tell her that. Say that you don't want to ruin your friendship if she doesn't like you back though and you don't want things to get awkward.You could go out and buy a dozen roses and tell her to look into a mirror while you're on the phone with her. Then say, "You're looking at 13 of the most beautiful things in the world." That should really show how much you like her. Hope I helped! Okay, so some of you may remember me asking a question about going out with a guy 2 days after I broke up with another one. Well, I took that advice and now Ricky and I have been dating upwards of a month.

But lately I've been having second thoughts! Like, everyone I talk to says that we make a weird couple, and I'm starting to agree with them! Like, he's the Great American Redneck (seriously), with almost the entire stereotype of the word! He goes hunting, fishing, drinking, and wears camoflage(sp?) to school, and is in LOVE with country music. He wants to be a mechanic, loves racing and cars. He's like, the complete OPPOSITE of my type. AND he's obsessed with me!

And I'm so much different. I'm the, I guess you could say, rocker chick/goth. I do like country music, but I'd take a good metal/rock song over a country song any day of the week. I can't STAND hunting or camping of any kind, and I will not TOUCH beer. Yes, I'd love to know how to change a tire and possibly fix a few common engine malfunctions, but other than that, I really don't care much about cars. If it runs, GOOD. If it doesn't, OH WELL.

It's not that I don't like him, 'cause I really do. It's just that he's so different from me, and I'm just not sure. I've never dated someone like him. All the guys I've dated have pretty much been "bad boys" or something like that.

My question is, should I stay with him despite our differences? I do like him, but it's just... Strange.

Stay with him =c). Opposites attract! Who cares if other people think you guys are a weird couple? There aren't any "normal" couples. It's impossible to be normal because nobody is the same so no one can be normal. Yeah so anyway.. stay with him. Just cuz you're opposites it doesn't mean you dont like each other or don't deserve to be together. You do! Stay with him ;c)

okay its always like i have to call my boyfriend or else we dont talk till like night time...he calls to say goodnight...but to make plans...it seems like i ALWAYS have to call him...and today im doing nothing till the nighttime and i want to call him because waiting for him to call me is just a waste of time...but then again i dont think i should call him...i called him yesterday to make plans and the day before...and we love hangin out we have so much fun...but its me who always has to call first...should i call him?

Call him and tell him that you kind of want him to call some of the times. He probably doesn't even realize he's doing it. If he still doesn't call then don't call him and wait for him to call you. After he realizes that you want him to call too, he should notice his mistake and start calling you. Hope I helped! =c)

ok there was a new guys that came to our school last yr and i instantly thought that he was hott....and i got to kno him and he seemed and is really swt we grew to be great friends told each other everything and anyting we had a lil something over tha summer then we came back 2 school as friendz and starts going out w/ some girl and she has a prob that we talk/ hangout so much and always makes a BIG deal outta everything then they break up and 3 days l8ter he tells me he likes me and ofcourse im happy b/c i really like him and he tells one of HER friends that hez over her and is moving on to better things like me and then i go away 4 tha weekend and i cum back and their 2gether again!!! and hez "truely" sry and he tells me personally....but im still upset and tell him how i really feel...then stuff goes on again she has a prob w/ us and everything...and now he broke up w/ her b/c he said he was sick of all tha drama she was causing and idk am i his rebound girl or does he truely have feelings for me? wat should i do?

To me it soiunds like he likes you he's just confused about his position. He's kind of in the middle of both of you. He really likes you but he's just in a bad position. I don't think you're his rebound girl, especially if you too are as close as you say. As for her she's just jealous. She's jealous that you too have such a great friendship and she probably thinks you're trying to steal him and she doesn't want you around him because she thinks that you'll take him away from her. She does sound like she's causing a lot of drama so just ignore it. She doesn't want you to have him and that's why the guy is in a really bad position now. He probably doesn't wanna hurt either of you but if he goes out with you he knows she'll make a huge deal about it and he doesn't want that to happen. But when he went out with her he knew you wouldnt cause a lot of drama. For the girl, don't worry about her. The guy you like sounds to me like he was feelings for you but is just confused on where he stands. Hope I helped! =c)

How do i know if my bf is just using me?
We went out last year for like almost 9 months but i broke it off because i started at a new school and i couldnt handle the relationship too. He begged me to take him back and after 3 months of getting settled and really missing him...i did. But it just doesnt seem the same anymore. Yeah he's using you. Dump him. You'll get over him after awhile. He just wants the sexual stuff. And if he doesn't get it from you it's most likely that he'll start cheating on you and get it from some other girl. Either way you'll be hurt unless you dump him. If you go out with him he'll probably eventually cheat on you and if you break up with him you might feel regret for a little but it'll turn out better in the end. Hope I helped!

ok...i have turned into a complete and total prep..my family had ALOT of money...i get 100 every 2 weeks for allowence...and next month, i am getting a brand new SL55 AMG mercedes-benz...
but only my family knows about it...i dont want to tell anyone else, but people are starting to find out...my old friends have started calling me a "rich bitch" just because of the colthes i wear...and they completly kicked me out of the clique...so i started hanging out with the other "rich kids" and they are really nice...everyone thinks that they are evil, just because they have money...next semester, my parents are sending me to a private school..which i also havent told anyone about...and tuition alone is 18,000 per year, let alone books and uniforms...people are turning their backs on me just because i have money, and i am dreading to find out how many of my friends are going to leave me after they find out how much money i actually have..i feel really sad that my friends are leaving me just because i have alot of money...i could understand if i was bragging about it, but i havent told anyone...what do i do?

Everybody always thinks that if you're rich then you're snotty and stuck up and don't want hang out with the not so fortunate people. Try to go on a shopping spree with them and buy clothes for them. Say that you really don't care about how much money you have and you don't want to lose them as friends. If they're actually true friends they should understand. Hope I helped!

If he's really good friends with your brother then there's actually probably not much you can do about it. You won't be able to go behind your brother's back either. You could try asking him out and tell your brother that you really really like him and you could even bribe your brother (ex. say you'll do his chores for a month if he lets you go out with him). If you really like him though your brother should be able to realize that and let you go out with him... I mean really you never know it might be true love ;c). If you want to get his attention more just be yourself.. don't complain about looks or weight or hair or anything like that because I know for a fact that guys don't like that. Just be yourself and keep talking to him. You could try different things with your hair because guys notice that and tend to like it if you don't complain about how its "messy" or anytihng. But really just be yourself around him. If it's meant to be it'll happen. Hope I helped =c)

I have straight hair already, but it is pretty static and VERY flyawayish...and its kinda bushy sometimes...what is the best hair straightener out there? I've heard ceramic hair straighterners are good??

I have the same type of hair. I've tried straightening it but it doesn't work. For me it's just static because it's winter and it always gets staticky in the winter. A straightener might not work but yes ceramic hair straighteners are the best in my opinion but expensive.

well you know how jeni and roger were trying to setup john and i ;well all those other times that john and i went out with jeni and roger; john and i really didn't talk that much well i think saturday was the day that john and i had talked the most. but let's start at the beginning of the night.well john and roger pick me and jeni between 745 and 815. We ended up getting there at like 830 so i was the only one that had to get shoes(they were only 2 bucks). the shoes were like half neon yellow and half neon orange. John was like you should wear those to work tomorrow. and i was like yes i would feel real cool in them. But then we started bowling after about a game and a half jeni's friend lilia and her boyfriend stopped by but they didn't feel like bowling but even before lilia and her boyfriend showed up john offered us all a drink i got a soda the first time. so jeni and roger started talking to lilia and her boyfriend a lot more than talking to me and john. So john and i actually talked a lot. we talked about me being in high school, his two job, my one job, war of bowling. Then he offered me another drink cuz he wanted one so i was like ok. So i really wasn't sure because the first time i was up there i got a cherry coke and i was like i dont know and john's like how about a juice. He's like your not allowed to have the same drink you need to be different. but the lady that was getting our drink was like let the lady decide. so i was like ok cranberry juice. we did talk a lot more it was from something to something else totally different. but ok you know i have my right leg crossed over left leg and i was just wiggling my foot and it ended up hitting him leg by accident and he ended hitting with his knee/leg. so we ended up hitting each other by the leg a couple of times. then like a minute or five minutes later i had my ankles crossed and my feet were like a couple of inches away from john's chair but after he came back from bowling he lifted up my top foot by the toes; those things happened when roger and jeni weren't looking

A little later i wasn't really doing good in this bowling game so john like you see that lady in the next lane to us; i think that shaking her butt is helping her get a better game maybe you should do it; i was like with what butt the butt i dont have and he's like everyone has a butt. that was before i was going to bowl my next frame. so i did my turn and after i bowled he's like where's that butt action??? when lilia and her boyfriend left jeni like i see that you and john have been talking and i was like yea. She's like i did that on purpose so that you guys would actually talk with each other. and i totally understood that. It was about 11-1130pm and we were about to leave and pay; well i was just about to pay but then the guy checking us out said something about it was cheaper a hour than per game; and john was like your a pretty cheap date (he paided for my bowling and 2 drinks) and he also said it must be because your so sexy and jeni's like browinie points. and i honesty think that i was blushing;
then we dropped off jeni first then roger and john started singing xmas carols to me. john was like i know i have like five cds in a case and he was driving and trying to feel in back to see if he could find but since i was in the back seat of the passenger seat when he was looking for it he ended up touching my left knee and im not sure if it was by accident or not then they ended up dropping me off. the next day jeni and i had to go to work at 9am and john and roger were going to go shopping so like on our lunch jeni forgot her cellphone so she needed to use mine to see where john and roger were at shopping. we couldn't get a hold of them then jeni called john number but she ended up getting his answering machine and left a message. then jeni asked me if i wanted to save john's number and i was like ok since i didn't have. I'm not sure what she wants me to do with now. But probably after he gets that message jeni gonna tell john that it was my cellphone number.

1) Yes definatley call John. I'm sure he would like to talk to you. You could call him on Christmas and just say Merry Christmas to him so it's like an excuse to talk to him. =c)

2) You probably shouldn't ask her. She gave it to you in case you wanted to call him.

4) It depends on your perspective and John's perspective. But it sounds to me like it was a date!

Ask her if she still likes him even a little bit. If she's the kind of friend who wouldn't lie to you and she says no then believe her. Just wait until you're sure she's over him. If she says that she's over him wait a couple of weeks anyway until you tell him or your friend you like him. She'll probably get over him fast. Hope I helped =c)

No your ears don't sag. Even if you start wearing danglies or hoops they won't sag. If you put danglies or hoops in they might feel a little heavy but they won't sag. Just make sure if you get your ears pierced you clean them as often as they tell you to or they WILL get infected. =c)

I don't know what I want to "be" when I'm older. I have no idea what I'm going to study, or anything! My friend makes me think about this, because she's my age, and she knows what she's doing. She's going to be a chef and she's already practicing at home! It makes me think like I am behind. If you like kids or babies you could be a pediatrician (a baby doctor basically). Just try doing some new stuff and you should find something you like.

I'm very overshadowed by my best friend. She's a very flirtatious, outgoing, redheaded vixen and everyone wants to be friends with her. Now, I don't mind it so much, I'm happy that she is well liked by people, but it's the fact that I seem to be getting less and less attention from her every time she meets somebody new. Especially guys. Every guy she meets has had a crush on her. (Except, thankfully, my CURRENT boyfriend...note that I said CURRENT..ex-boyfriends are another story) And often times she has crushes on them, but she still has to complain about them liking her. She seems to treat me like a child and she's the "All-knowing-one", especially when it comes to relationships, and it's really starting to piss me off! She steals my jokes and claims them as her own OFTEN and she says that I'm a bad friend because I once decided to stay with my boyfriend instead of going to hang out with her, while she has ditched me many a time to hang out with guys. (I can think of two instances from just last week.) I'm really bothered by her, yet I remain her friend and most of the time I really don't know why. And I want to talk to her about this, but I've tried before and she always apologizes and then forgets about it two days later.

And when it's just her and I things are fine! We have a great time and everyone's happy and once again I've become the comedian between the two of us, (material she later steals from me to use in front of her flirting victims), but when it comes to boys I'm completly ignored and she's off in the corner creating some sort of drama. It's weird for me, because before I befriended her I was always the center of attention among the group. I was the loud, funny, loving one who everyone wanted to give hugs because I would gladly dish them out. And now it seems like nobody has any time for me because they all want to be with her. Like she's taken all of my friends, but still claims that I'm her best one.

What should I do? I know the most logical thing would be to stop being friends with her, but we've been together for so long and we have most of our friends in common with each other, so there really would be no way to avoid hanging out with her.

I went through the same thing, and I still am. There's no way you just can't be friends with her because if she took all your friends and you ditch her then YOU would be the one with no friends. The next time she ditches you say, see you ALWAYS ditch me for guys and I did it ONCE and you got mad at me! or something of that sort. There's really no way you can avoid hanging out with her. Just keep being friends with her and try to get back the old relationships with your other friends before your friend took them. That way, if things go wrong, you can still try to hang with them.
