Question Posted Saturday December 25 2004, 10:48 pm
I have straight hair already, but it is pretty static and VERY flyawayish...and its kinda bushy sometimes...what is the best hair straightener out there? I've heard ceramic hair straighterners are good??
x3aSkMe answered Thursday December 30 2004, 3:29 am: Ceramic hair straightners are the best but they will cost you a little more but trust me, they're worth it! Also to get rid of the frizzie-ness you can get John Freida's super skinny serum. It works really good. x0Cassandra [ x3aSkMe's advice column | Ask x3aSkMe A Question ]

Shampoo and use ure finger ans like massage ure Scalp and go al over, and then after that rinse, and then take allthe ater out of ure hair, so its not like dripping ne more, and then add the condior and let is sit there for a minute and it shood make it alot silker!! and then if u Straighten it with the Gold plated ones then urehair will look aswome! CMONEY08 answered Sunday December 26 2004, 3:24 pm: The CONAIR cermaic straightener works magic. Almost a year ago I got a perm and I didnt like it so I straighten my hair every morning becuz the perm is still kinda in there. I use that straightener and the oils in it leave my hair shiny and dont fry my hair. I love it and its only like $13 at Target. Good luck!

*Kate* answered Sunday December 26 2004, 2:41 pm: Get the new Wet 2 Straight by Remington.(Its ceramic so it wont damage your hair.)You can use it on your hair when it is wet or dry. It's made to use on wet hair and it won't steam it,and it dries while it straightens so you don't have to blow dry your hair first so it takes less time. I works good for me!

mysticpixie05 answered Sunday December 26 2004, 1:06 pm: i wouldnt use a straightener on your hair. they will fry your hair out. using them once ina while is fine but it shouldnt be an every day task. if you still want to straighten and fry your hair out until it all needs to be cut off then a ceramic iron would make it straight for you. xoRachel answered Sunday December 26 2004, 11:17 am: I have the same type of hair. I've tried straightening it but it doesn't work. For me it's just static because it's winter and it always gets staticky in the winter. A straightener might not work but yes ceramic hair straighteners are the best in my opinion but expensive. XbleweyedtearsX answered Sunday December 26 2004, 12:40 am: i wouldn't suggest using a straightener on your hair just because its staticy or flyawashish if its already straight..it will just make it worse and give you split ends more then likely..you can buy stuff at hair salons for that kind of hair and it works great! but i don't know what it's called..i forgot..sorry..But if you really want to use a straightener then ceramic ones with gold plates are A LOT better. Hope i helped **x0x0x [ XbleweyedtearsX's advice column | Ask XbleweyedtearsX A Question ]
aNgeLxfOrEvEr answered Saturday December 25 2004, 11:59 pm: Well it really depends on the straightener you have. Some ceramics ones are absolutely horrible. But some are decent. I have straight hair but I straighten my hair every single day, and the Hot Tools Professional (it's not ceramic) hair straightener works great!! I love it..it gets all the "frizzies" out and makes it very flat. You can get this straightener at Sally's Beauty Supply. I'm not sure if they sell it other places, but I'm sure you could check! Hope this helps you out! Have a great winter break =) [ aNgeLxfOrEvEr's advice column | Ask aNgeLxfOrEvEr A Question ]
Sherry answered Saturday December 25 2004, 11:45 pm: Go to Sallys Beauty Supply and ask if they know of any good straighters. Some are really expensive like the $115 one that the person below me said. But mine was about $50 and it works great. So it doesnt have to be that expensive but dont get anything under $20 or it will suck! [ Sherry's advice column | Ask Sherry A Question ]
bAhAmAmA0250 answered Saturday December 25 2004, 11:30 pm: Cut like 2 inches off the bottom. That would help it out alot but use pantene shampoo and conditioner. Use revlon straightners! Merry christmas! ((please Rate me)) trix! [ bAhAmAmA0250's advice column | Ask bAhAmAmA0250 A Question ]
