Peirced Ears

Question Posted Sunday December 5 2004, 7:15 pm

Okay, does anyone know if when you just wear studs when you get your ears peirced, will the holes still sag? or is there any kind of dangly earrings that don't pull on your ears? I'm clueless and not sure if I want my ears peirced or not :/(sorry if I spelt peirced wrong...) I rate high ^_^

i just got my ears pierced and it was soooo worth it! basically what they do is you pick out small studs and they stick them into your eras with these little gun things. (only hurts a bit). AFTER that ur not allowed to take them out for 4 weeks. and you have to be really careful bout wearing dangly ear rings!

They don't sag from hoop earings, but it does depend how heavy they are. stick with the really thin ones and when you get studs look for nickel free ones, trust me nickel hurts your ears. good luck and by the way if you need somecute earrings defiantely check out Claires. It's awesome. lol. Good luck!!!! ~Calie~

Well, I've had my ears peirced for about 7 years now and its really easy. There are types of earings that are dangly that don't make the holes in your ears sag. Just make sure they don't weigh too much, usually hoops that are thick are not a good choice unless you want you ear lobe to be in two seperate peices. Try and get thin hoops and see how that works.

They shouldn't sag. Mine didn't. I don;t know if taht helps you any. But studs work well and that is what you have to get when you get your ears pierced the first time anyway, so they shouldn't sag.

you start out with studs(starter earings) then after 6 weeks you can get the dangly kind but start out with smaller earings. then work ur way up. but peircing does hurt for a bit. just make sure they get it somewhere in the rite spots. hope i helped. if u need anything else just ask.

FunnyCide answered Monday December 6 2004, 1:20 am:
you just need to carefully see how much weight your ears can handle before they "sag". most dangly earings now are down to the shoulder, and wearing that all day will kill your ears in a heartbeat! (you dont want to look like an indian with huge holes in your ears do you?) so i would pick some cute dangly ones that are a little bit smaller - not as long - that dont weigh a lot. the length doesnt really matter, its just how heavy they are. be careful and happy....shopping for earings.

You have to wear studs until they are healed (8 weeks, I think) and I know what you mean by the earholes 'sagging'. Just don't get really heavy earrings. Getting your ears pierced isn't all that great, I had mine done and re-done, and I hardly ever wear earrings. I'm allergic to nickel anyways, as it makes my ears infected although they are completely healed.

Unless your earrings are REALLY heavy, the holes wont sag. It's just when you wear really heavy hoops or dangly earrings or when you tug on the earring that it wil sag. Having your ears pierced isn't bad, but make sure to clean them and get hypo-allergenic earrings, just in case you're allergic to the metals! :-)

NEVERLETG00 answered Sunday December 5 2004, 9:17 pm:
the only way for your ear to sag, is from earings that are heavy, ex. hoops... they pull down but if you jsut get studs ( which are the only ones you are able to get when you get your ear pierced) will not make your ears sag. x0

No, I dont think so. IT mostly happens to older people ( my mom lol) IF you are afraid if that might still will happen just buy the *light* earings at Claire's.

There are "dangly" earrings you can buy that are light so they won't tug on your ears. Just make sure you don't get any heavy earrings.

No your ears don't sag. Even if you start wearing danglies or hoops they won't sag. If you put danglies or hoops in they might feel a little heavy but they won't sag. Just make sure if you get your ears pierced you clean them as often as they tell you to or they WILL get infected. =c)
