ok i really like this girl. i don't know what to do though, since she sometimes acts like she likes me, and yet others she doesn't. i also have trouble asking her out (because i am somewhat shy and/or a coward when it comes to that), but i really want to.

Ummm. I would just leave her alone. Wait for her to show more interest in you so you wont feel bad if she turns you down.

i was thinking abouts switching from cingular to verizon. my bf & some of my friends have verizon, so overall i thought it would be a good idea so we can be "in" & have free mins including the regular plan & texting. my cingular plan is 2 years, so it's not over until december. the thing is, my cingular bill has been going up & i really think we should switch to verizon so that it wont be as much. is there anyway to break that contract. if so, what are the outcomes & how long does that take?? if we do break it, can i get a verizon phone from the store as soon as i do that?? i want it so that i always have a phone & there isn't a time where i don't have one.

I was wondering if someone could explain to me what modern dance is like. I tried looking online but i never really got much of an explination. I'm thinking its kind of like a lyrical but with alot more of like body moventment kind of things (like kinda yogaish moves).

Ok.. Here's the thing.. I'm 15 female & I'm 5'8" also.. Im like 175 pounds.. so yeah.. I'm overweight & it really sucks. I was wondering if anybody out there knew of any good websites with diet plans or exercise guides or anything. I mean, my biggest problem is stress with grades & all & when I'm stressed out I tend to eat. So.. Every two weeks I like to go one day with out eating, or skipping a meal. I do not do it to lose weight but I have heard it is good for you ( I still drink water ) and it helps to flush out toxins in your body. Is this true? I regularily eat small meals throughout the day that are healthy and I get usually 2-4 hours of exercise a day. After fasting for a day I continue with my normal eating pattern and I do not try to eat a lot to make up for it.

uh i do not think it is a good idea because you body could go into starvation mode where it thinks you are starving so it holds onto fat and calories much more and burns them more sslowly.

I really want to gain weight, but the right way.
I don't want to sit all day and eat cheeseburgers to gain weight. And I wanna gain 15 pounds by august 26th. Any thing I can eat that is good for me that I could gain weight off of. Or any like things i could do.

my period is really heavy like the first 3 days! well i dont care during the day because i wear tampons but at night i wear pads. i usually have to wear like 4 seriously big pads because its so heavy at night and sometimes that even leaks through! i heard that wearing a tampon for a long time like overnight is bad for you and you are at higher risk for that TSS or whatever! soo is it? or what should i do? im even on birth control lol and im 16/f. and thats why i went on birth control because i thought it would help my heavy flow but it doesnt seem to work. wear a tampon and a pad at night. It works, i do it. for longer wear of tampons i reccomend the unscented ones.

my best friend just told me shes bi. i always kind of thought that because she always tries stuff with me and our friends. it makes us uncomfortable and we always tell her to stop. but now she told me that me and another one of our friends turned her bi...and its creeping me out. i dont want to be a bad friend and stop talking to her, especially because we have to spend the next week together at camp, but after that i'm probably going to hang out with her less. i'm not trying to be rude and judge her, but that just really freaks me out. please dont tell me i am being a bad friend, because thats not what im asking. i need to no how i can make it seem less weird when im around her for the next week at camp, and how i can not talk to her as much after camp without it being obvious that the reason is because she is bi. and also my whole family thinks shes annoying and i do too, and although she is one of my best friends i have always thought about maybe trying to make more friends in high school next year and not really talking to her that much anymore. so it wouldnt be a big deal if we werent as great of friends i think. sorry if that sounds mean. but please help me!!! thanks. btw im 14/f (link)

ok my friend and her boyfriend have on & off for about a year, and they both lost ther verginity to each other. But after they started having sex he only talk to her when he wants to have sex. And when she tells him that she loves him he never say it back. Hdoesn't even call her his girlfriend and everytime she brings up love or anything like that he gets pissed at her. the only time he is not mad at her is when she is not around or when there having sex. I don't have the heart to tell her this but I think he might be useing ehr for sex. What do you think, any help i would really love!

Well my dad died a few years back, and my mom has been depressed and lonely ever since. She tells me all the time that it's hopeless for her to find a single guy her age anymore (45, but she doesn't near look it). Just last night she said to me, 'Honey, I'm lonely,'. i go to this summer day camp every week day and its HELL. oh my god. all we do is sit there in the burning hot sun for 3 hours watching the boys do whatever they want and all the girls are sweating to death. therees like 6 girls and like 15 boys. oh yeah, and the only thing i look forward to is mtv day. every year we do a fun song and a new song and we make a fun dance to it. but guess what? since the boys want to do the hockey pockey, we are performing the hockey pockey for the whole camp. And the camp is unorganzied too. The schedule for my day is sports, sports, (insert boys pick her), (insert boys pick here), practice hockey pockey, go home sweating to death. I WANT TO QUIT SO BADLY, BUT MY PARENTS SAY THE PAID MONEY FOR IT AND I CANT QUIT. There is no way I can change the counselors mind, and the camp is boring anyway. GOD PLEASE TELL ME HOW I CAN GET MY PARENTS TO LET ME QUIT CAMP. (link)
